They asked him if he thought she went a little too big. Shane said he prefers not to think about his sister's breasts. They joked about it for a couple more minutes and Shane said he was taking the fifth. - O&A then began trashing the WWF Superstars for the comments they made on Smackdown! last week regarding the terrorist attacks. Shane said the comments were unscripted and from the heart, but O&A basically called the wrestlers stupid and said no one cares what they have to say. O&A admitted that Vince's opening promo was awesome and even inspirational, but that everyone else was terrible. They bashed Stephanie's statement in particular (who hasn't). Shane didn't really say much about this. - O&A got a little more serious and said they really wish the WWF would take Jerry Lawler back. They said they like Paul Heyman, but Raw's not the same without "The King". Shane was very noncommittal and basically said he had no comment. He admitted that the WWF has talked to him recently but wouldn't say if the talks went well. - This led to O&A mercilessly making fun of Lawler's situation (they've been goofing on him for weeks). They said he was pathetic and had some choice words for The Kat, too. They said there are some photos of The Kat performing a sex act on someone. They also said The Kat slapped a restraining order on Lawler. Shane said he wasn't aware of either of those things (and neither am I) so I'm not sure where O&A got their information, but apparently they've seen the photos and they were taken recently. - O&A asked Shane what was going to happen on Smackdown! He really didn't seem to know (since he was at the taping this is kind of surprising!). He couldn't think of any matches on the show but basically just said that the WWF was trying to put smiles on people's faces following the tragedy. He tried to plug Unforgiven, but didn't mention any of the specific matches. That's about it. Honestly, Shane didn't come off particularly well this time. He's been a great guest in the past, but didn't have a lot to say yesterday. O&A and Norton talked at least 90% of the time and Shane just occasionally added a grunt or a laugh. He didn't even plug Smackdown! or the PPV very well because he seemed to forget all the matches. I guess it's been a tough week for all of us. ====================================================================== News from the WWF//=================================================== -As previously reported, the WWF is planning to split its crews on house shows, so as to give more in-ring time to unused talent. Blackjack Brown of The Chicago Sun Times is reporting that the management is working on the plans, and is hoping to put them into action by mid-October. One idea in the works is to hold two shows most days, one in the afternoon and one the same night. By using more wrestlers spread over more shows, their individual salaries would increase, as would the WWF revenues. -HBK Shawn Michaels has been out of physical action for a long time now. However, his chances of returning to the WWF, even in a non- wrestling role still seem slim. Recently, Michaels has been doing several promotional appearances for the WWF. During one of these appearances, he said that he isn't physically fit to ever wrestle again. This means that the WWF management can bring him back on television only as a Commissioner or some other role which wouldn't involve physical action. At the moment, there is no such spot for Michaels. -Ross of RF Video is reporting that the Undertaker was pulled out of last night's house show, only as a precaution since he has an injured shoulder and the WWF can give him the extra rest for the PPV tonight. He was scheduled to team with Kane against Kronik at the house show. Albert took his place. -Here's the WWF's road sched this comign week: *Tonight, September 23 - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for Unforgiven *Monday, September 24 - Columbus, Ohio for Raw is War *Tuesday, September 25 - Dayton, Ohio for the SmackDown! tapings *Saturday, September 29 - Jacksonville, Florida for a house show -The WWF has cancelled its Oct. 7 house show at the Patriot Center in Fairfax, Va. No reason given nor a re-schedule date has been given. The WWF management expects that most of them would be ready to sign with them, by then. One of the major superstars that the WWF will be looking to sign is Kevin Nash. Nash ever since leaving the WWF first time has kept in contact with Vince McMahon and Triple H, his close friends. Nash also has announced publicly that he will consider signing with the WWF after his current contract expires.
