Even though the WWF rules all, a rash of injuries can make a pay-per- view resemble the previous one, can't it? It was nice to see The Q Man a tad more serious this week, but I've got a little clue for you. Rulebreakers LOSE handicap matches 99.9999991% of the time against faces. Sucks to be you. This is bad news for our Olympic Hero/Zero as he goes up against The Loser of 3:16. While the kidnapping was amusing, the banter between Angle and Austin was classic. Anyone that remembers "Bang 3:16" knows what I'm talking about. It was great seeing "What?" Thrown back at him. My question becomes if Austin is truly "Dr. What?", wouldn't Dean "The International Man of Gimmicks" have made a better foil? Anyway, with Rock beating Shane-O and Q, Angle will end up with the short end of the medal again. I will give credit where credit is due: Austin did put over RVD, and I was shocked to be honest. I really don't think he sold the Van Daminator. If you remember, he got up after it, and nailed Van Dam with one of the lamest stunners in recent memory. But when push came to shove, he did the job. I hate to do it, but I have to give the "What?" guy two big thumbs up. And how about Edge and Christian? We knew the breakup was coming, but to see the downright viciousness of Christian was cool. His whole "blowing a headpipe" thing on Monday is how you do a psycho angle. They also made sure that there would be no chance of these two guys getting back together for a long while-ala Bret and Owen. And while E&C will be sorely missed as a tag team, their feud could be something big. Kronik makes their debut!! Okay, maybe it isn't that earth shattering, but the WWF needed something more than Stevie Richards vs. the Biker-Taker at the PPV. What I really want to see is these guys vs. the APA. What a bar brawl that would be!!
