As I read Newsletters and scan Web Sites, most of what I see is either a recap of a TV show or stuff like "Does the mole on Jeff Hardy's left cheek [butt cheek, that is] make him sexier?" and "Does Our American Olympic Milk Man drink 2% Fat Milk?" Hardly the stuff Pulitzer Prizes are made of. I am just as guilty as the next Ray Bradbury, finding it harder to come up with an interesting subject than it is for Big Mama Dudley to say no when the fleet is in. (See, you learned something today ... before this you didn't know that Dudleyville was a big naval seaport, did you?) In fact, it's the home port of the USS Pigsty, a vintage Dory that first saw service at the Battle of Dudleyville Bay, during the War of 1814. It was single-handedly responsible saving Dudleyville from the British Fleet and for the capture of British Admiral Sir D. Dilly Dudley, who stayed on and married Dolly Dudley (no relation .... I think). Where are Fat Tony and Good Old Eric when you need them? They were always good for a story or two a week. I digress. Why not take a look back at this weeks RAW? Then again, why not drink cyanide? King Shane bored the crap out of everyone with another tirade of why he bought WCW (with daddy's money of course) and how The Rock isn't worthy of carrying Buckwheat's jock. Yada. yada, yada. The Vulcan Swamp Beast is going to eat The Rock for dinner and bring Shane the scraps and Belt. Yada. yada, yada. My wife was nice enough to poke me and keep me awake. I just couldn't figure out why she was doing it with a 10" carving knife. Lucky for us, The Rock cut him off and gave us a history lesson on the WCW Championship. The Title is so valuable that after people like Slick Ric, it has been reduced to the value of yesterdays garbage and held by an assortment of useless slugs like Dirtbag, Homer Simpson and Hillary Rodham Clinton. The Rock has restored it to its former value. Feeling his oats, Shane told The Rock to "Just Bring It" and he would take the Title. How many of you didn't know The Swamp Beast was lurking nearby? If you answered yes, you just won a no-expenses paid weekend in Beautiful Downtown Dudleyville, at The Dudleyville Hillton. Paul E. again wet his BVD's with a "Gore, Gore!" as The Rock took one. Fade to black. Our first chance of the evening to meet Dr. What and Mrs. Dr. What (who actually looks good in her new basic Bad Black look-as long as she wears black over her face). Dr. What has his arm in a sling (as opposed to his A*s), due to his encounter with The Olympic Milk Man last week on SmackDown. They were interrupted by Mr. Everything, RVD, and The Dirty Bird, Raven. Kissing his ring (and a*s), they said they would give up their match against each other and take his place against Milk Man and Y2J. More Ring / A*s Kissing and they were blessed. "Finally, The Matches Have Come Back To RAW!" as our first match got underway. Match? The Taker v. Albert. Dead Man v. Chrome Dome. If I have to tell you who won, you should be watching Ally McBeal. Obituary: Chrome Dome subdued by Chokeslam. RIP. Hurricane/Shane/Sugar/Gregory (Take your pick) Helms told Michael Cole why The Green Lantern was his hero, however, Dr. What is now his Numero Uno (Ring / A*s Kissing without the Ring / A*s even being there). Promises to kick Sir Matthew Hardy's ass and take his European Title, and maybe Lita. The Green Lantern, Jr., Sir Matthew Hardy (C), with Lovely Lita for European Title. The idiot came to the ring wearing a green cape and mask, and a big "H" on his chest. He is obviously living in a fantasy world and has lost touch with reality. Former WOW Title Holder Tina Ferrari (Ivory to her friends) raced to ringside and nailed Lovely Lita in her bad knee with a Tire Iron (Does anyone smell Ancient Arn? Whenever you see a Tire Iron, he can't he far away). Concerned boyfriend rushes over and what does he get for his efforts? A Tire Iron to the ribs and a roll up. New Champion of The Other Side Of The Atlantic, The Green Hurricane. Switch to the back and The Milk Man is running amok. The Dirty Bird flies by and is grounded. Ankle Lock, screams of agony, Bird's wings clipped. RVD will have to seek out a new companion. Lovely Lita is having her knee checked when The Dirty Bird flaps in. Dr. What arrives and is not pleased by Bird's whining. Dumbass Stasiak flits in and says he has a New Plan to do it Milk Man. Dr. What blows him off and gives Bird a lesson in tough love with a blast to his throbbing ankle. Switch to Canadian Comic No. 1 slugging down a soda. Enter Hugh Morrus. CC No. 1 suggests a few improvements for Hugh's name (i.e., Hugh Suck). Enter CC No. w and he supports his brother by getting him into defending his Intercontinental Title against Hugh Suck. After what seems life forever, another match. That's right -- another match. This one pits Test(icle) v. The APA's Wall St. Whiz. King Shane is guarding Test(icle) (fit your own joke in here) and Farooq is guarding Bradshaw (or at least his keg). Back and forth action and we spot King Shane on the apron. Must be time for a distraction. It is. Whiz is distracted and eats Test(icle) .... 's boot. Cover and get Whiz a cool one when he wakes up. RVD is brown nosing Dr. What again in the back. Tells the good Doctor that his plan to clip Dirty Bird's wings was a stroke of genius, and not to worry as he'll take Milk Man and Y2J out by himself. Dr. and Mrs. Dr. argue over merits of RVD's Plan, do Dr. tells RVD to hit the bricks so he can ponder things. Mrs. Dr. looks like she wants to perform a lobotomy on Mr. Dr. Another match! Will wonders ever cease. The Rock (C) defending his gold v. Swamp Beast and his trainer Shane. Let's see. Rock and Beast. who will win? If it aint Beast, I will be a monkey's third cousin. Damn! Beast loses. When you see Al Snow, give him a banana for me. Beast tried a Gore but The Rock was ready this time, the ring post now looks like it was in a Demolition Derby. Despite all of Shane's Three C's: Coaching, Cajoling and Cheating, Beast goes back to the Swamp empty pawed. Dumbass Stasiak runs into Legs in the hall and enlists her in his Master Plan. He says since Milk Man always has an 8 ounce fill-up before his matches, he has set a bucket of six week old Milk and Dirtbag's food over the door to the room where the Milk is. Plan: Milk Man opens Door; Yuck drops on Milk Man: Milk Man sick and can's go on. Plan worked to perfection .... almost. Mrs. Dr. What came thru the door and took the Milk Bath. Dumbass and Legs are last seen getting out of town as fast as they can. Dumbass last seen in Gobi Desert hiding among natives. Mrs. Dr. is bitching to Mr. Dr. about what happened. Being a sensitive guy and all, he told her she stinks and to go take a shower. Mrs. Dr. is now contemplating having him neutered and sold into slavery. CC No. 1 v. Hugh Suck, for IC Belt. CC No. 2 joins JR and Paul E. Methinks there is something afoot. Hearing things that only he can because of his super hearing, CC No. 2 says Suck is bad mouthing him, so he leaves announcers and crown Suck IC Champion, or at least crowned him with the Belt. Suck wins via DQ, CC No. 1 retains Title and schedules a hearing test to see why he didn't hear the dissing. Cole is back stage with Buckwheat. He shows him The Big Slow doing his version of Buckwheat, sucka. Buckwheat is so enraged, his hair unravels. Sweet Steph walks in on Y2J in the weight room and says he is yesterday's news, that RVD is in and he is out. Y2J says she should know about things going in and out. Sweetie Pie loses another round. Buckwheat v. The Big Buckwheat. Big Buck gets on Buck's case immediately as he does the world's slowest Spinadoodie. They fight for a while and Big Buckwheat finally succumbs to forty or fifty chair shots. Buckwheat will not be getting a star for being nice tonight. Ed. Note: The Big Slow is great when they give him material like this to work with. Who knows, given time the fans might actually cheer him. It was a highlight of the show. Main Event No. 2 is up. Milk Man and Y2J v. RVD and Mystery Partner. Who will it be? It's Tazz. It's Tazz! Tazz on RAW in a Main Event! An event as rare as snow in Orlando in August. Needless to say that an excellent match was interrupted by Dr. What. It ended with Milk Man breaking The TazzMission (that is even rarer than the snow day) and nails Tazz with The Olympic Milk Shake. Game, set, Match. Dr. What blasted The Milk Man with his WWF Title Belt and stole The Milk Man's Medals. Mess with Milk Man's wife and get hurt; mess with his Medals and die. So there you have it.
