It's a basic article on backyard wrestling, talking about the dangerous activities and moves that are performed. Vince McMahon is quoted in the article saying, "parents and children need to be wary of and leery of what they do to emulate us, because even as pros, sometimes we get hurt." The show had its ups and downs in the quarters, peaking for the Rock vs. Rhyno match midway through at 5.2 and with the overrun of the main event at 5.0. The American Bowl football game ended up doing an 8.0. Source// 1Wrestling, TVSite.com ====================================================================== Article//============================================================= Pro Wrestling TV Releases Press Release On Recent WWFE Letter Here is the official statement recently released by Pro Wrestling TV regarding the letter from WWFE to stop webcasting WWF and WCW material: We here at PRO WRESTLING TV are very saddened by the decision of the WWFE telling us to stop webcasting WWF & WCW material. We believe we did no wrong at all. We accepted no money and were non profit. We did not compromise any WWFE products. Our stand is that we were a promotional, public service promoting internet commerce and growth for the wrestling industry by playing wrestling matches and shows for the fans evaluation. Unfortunately we can not afford good lawyers to battle the point. The WWFE legal team is very shrewd and a cracker jack team when it comes to copyright violations. We would fight back if we thought we had a chance. We have and still do put out a call for legal assistance. So far we have received no aid. We here at PRO WRESTLING TV feel very badly for the thousands of wrestling fans from Italy, Germany, UK, Canada, Israel, and all across Europe that either get heavily edited shows or no wrestling tv shows at all in their countries. These are the wrestling fans who will be hurt by this. Life for PWTV will now go on in the form of our old format. PWTV will produce a weekly live wrestling tv show on Monday nights at 8:00 pm est. The show will include classic & independent wrestling matches, pro wrestling news and hardcore wrestling news from Japan as reported by our correspondents across the USA. Wrestling fans will be able to call us here by using our toll free 800 number. We will add a downloadable version of the show for in demand viewing which will stay up all week. The in demand viewing will be played back in Real Player. The in demand shows will have three connection speeds 28.8, 56k and a cable/dsl connection. On a personal note, I do this as a hobby and get great pleasure in helping wrestling fans in the less fortunate parts of the world watch the greatest show on earth: PRO WRESTLING. I can only hope that wrestling fans from around the world will e-mail and snail mail the WWFE that they should post a downloadable version of ALL their wrestling shows every week for everyone to watch around the world and to stop leaving so many wrestling fans out in the cold. PRO WRESTLING TV proved it can be done....there is no excuse for the WWFE not to. Think of the added merchandise sales for one thing. In closing I wish to thank the tens of thousands of internet wrestling fans who came to our website every month to watch PRO WRESTLING TV.
