I've noticed that, anytime Jobberco has made fun of a wrestler, it's been to pawn either merchandise, tv shows or football leagues. I don't know if he just does it and it's a fluke, but it always seems to be the case. Back in February, he was on this "He hate me" thing from thr XFL which tried to get that off the ground. He's also going out of his way to call people "jackass" and other TV show names that the WWF just happens to have a finger in. I just found that as odd. Tomorrow, Wednesday morning is a BIG BIG BIG day for Toronto's basketball scene. Vince Carter is going to make his annoucement on whether he's signed a big deal to stay with the Raptors or will play out his contract and wait a year. Thanks for reading. naidO// ====================================================================== TOP HEADLINE//======================================================== Dave Meltzer reports that the WWF has tanked Livewire and Superstars and used those two hours to open up a 2 hour slot on TNN's schedule in late August. Apparently, the TNN schedule leaked out Monday and there's a two-hour "WWF wrestling show" starting up on Saturday August 25th from 10 to midnight. When the WWF bought WCW, they've been trying to get them their own show but met with little success. Once that proved unsuccessful, they were rumored to sacrifice Heat or even Raw to get WCW their own show. Be that as it may, the WWF has two hours at their disposal. All he needs now is The Ugly, and he'll have a complete set. He has done something never before done in Wrestling/Sports Entertainment history: he has an entire Federation of The Good (The WWF), and an entire Federation of The Bad (WCW/ECW aka "The Alliance). By going this route, it appears he has scrapped plans (at least for the time being) of running The WWF and WCW as separate Federations, as well as dumping the idea of turning RAW over to WCW. Wrestlers from heel to face and vice versa has been a time honored way of operating, but now it looks like we will have The Good Guys v. The Bad Guys. Are we ready to give up our "X-Puke Sucks" cheers and root for him? It appears we are as he was actually cheered last night on RAW in his Title v. Title Match against Billy The Kidman. He probably thought there was a fight in the stands and that's what the fans were shouting at. Are we going to cheer for Albert, The Human Pin Cushion? Love Kaientai even though they are "Evil?" (Indeed!) About the only Alliance member getting heavy duty face pops is Mr. Monday (Tuesday, Wednesday .... Sunday) Night, Rob Van Dam (RVD). With his talent and charisma, he will have to go a long way before the fans turn on him. Of course certain people naturally fit the role of Asshole (I wont name names, but here's a hint: Dirtbag). Those like The Dudley Boyz belong being nasties, just ask anyone who watched them in ECW (The Old ECW, that is). Tweeners like Taz(z) are more believable when they are smashing the faces of pretty boys. Then there are those like the new (again) WCW Champion, Mr. T's cousin Booker. He regained the Title from Our American Olympic H(Z) ero on RAW last night, despite being beaten (except for the fact that the referee was too busy picking his nose to see T tapping out for his life as H(Z)ero was breaking his ankle). Mr. Spinadoodie defeated H(Z) only after five or six of Prince Shanes best beat H(Z)ero senseless, including shooting him in full speed to a Gore by Rhyno. Without their help, and a Stunner by Stone Cold Steve Austin (SCSA), he would still be Spinadoodieing and listening to SCSA calling him a loser. Way to go Spinny. Speaking of Spinny, did you catch him bug eyed and hiding behind the retaining wall during the mugging? Watching the eyes bulge out of his head reminded me of Charlie Chan's driver Charleston. He did that each time as he was leaving brown stains in his shorts every time he was scared. Anyone who has ever watched an old Charlie Chan movie will remember it ... and laugh. Before I forget: Note To Spindoodie: That move should have died with WCW. It might have been exciting during a WCW match when the fans (all 1,200 of them) were looking for anything to keep them nodding off, but not while working for The Emperor. Heck, even SCSA told you to dump it. The Main Event was the return of The Rock. Throughout RAW The Emperor and The Alliance looked forward to welcoming him to their respective Federations. To help The Emperor welcome back The Rock, The Commissar and his Faithful Indian Companion Tajiri brought him a bunch pies (Apple, Apricot, Blueberry), but no Poontang Pie. The Emperor asked them if they knew Poontang Pie was and that it is The Rock's favorite. When he finally arrived he Rock Bottomed The Emperor leaving everyone thinking he was joining The Bad. He then Rock Bottomed Prince Shane and blasted him with The People's Elbow. Sorry to report that he didn't raise The People's Eyebrow. Was he going to form The Ugly? Nope, he announced he was joining The WWF. Nice way to return at SummerSlam, with the possibility of a Three Way including H (Z)ero. Several questions were raised during RAW that must be answered: 1. Do they have Poontang Pie in Great Britain and Japan? 2. Does Tajiri prefer Blueberry over Poontang since he snatched a slice? 3. Will Kanyon go to Tajiri's "English for Dummies" Class? (From last week) 4. Did Terrific Torrie like Hurricane Helms touching her "assets?" 5. Is Debra that bad a cook and does SCSA eat all of his meals out? 6. What was in Debra's cookies that gave SCSA a three day dose of Montazuma's Revenge, and will Spinadoodie get it also? 7. Have you mailed your contribution to the SamJerry Memorial Computer Fund yet?
