Roberts was arrested on June 14th in Niles, Ohio following an auto accident earlier in the day. The WWF has an article in the ongoing series of articles on HHH's road to recovery (and face push). He suffered the injury a couple of weeks ago during his Edmonton match with Steve Austin. Benoit will "suck it up and work" the triple threat match tonight at the PPV. He'll then be expected to take time off to properly diagnose and treat the injury as doctors are still at a loss. Expect something to be booked tonight to reflect his departure. -Reports indicate that the Trenton, NJ "live non-televised arena event" (House Show) last night was not successful at the gate. Low attendance has become a serious problem recently for the promotion. -Official Heat preview: This Sunday's episode of HEAT airs LIVE from the Continental Airlines Arena in New "Joysey" -- the site of the King of the Ring Pay-Per- View! Just one hour before the annual spectacular, Michael Cole and Tazz will bring you all the news and backstage scoops! They'll also have exclusive interviews and late-breaking developments! It shoudl be noted here that that's the first WCW wrestler to be featured at WWF.com. Others have been strictly at WCW.com. Not only will Dallas Page make an appearence, Chris Kanyon, Booker T, and Sean O'Haire COULD be seen during tonights show as well. Buff Bagwell is also rumored to appear. Should be quite the show. -Dave Meltzer reports that the current plan is to have a five on five (WWF vs. WCW) main event for the July Invasion PPV. He says that the wheels will be set in motion on RAW rather than the PPV tonight. Lance Storm was to play a big role in the process but he is booked for a Stampede Wrestling show tonight in Calgary. It was a huge stepping stone. It was where Austin 3:16 was born. It is a PPV that can give someone's career a "kick in the a$$." - He put over Kurt Angle's rise to popularity in such little time. *Question: His character Everything is a work in progress. He is having a blast doing it and it will only get better. It has been an idea of his for a long time and he doesn't think anyone could be doing it any better. *Question: DDP Austin used to travel with Page back in WCW. He is a very hard worker. Not many people, including Steve, thought DDP would get to where he has. However, he accomplished it with his work ethic. He feels that DDP is an incredible asset. *Question: Working with Chris Benoit Chris is an incredible talent and brings out the best in him. *Question: Was turning heel a risk? He feels that there was no risk. He knew it would work out because he is excellent either way. *Question: Triple H In terms of the injury, he has been there and done that, so he knows what it is like. He wishes the best in terms of him recovering and whenever he returns, they will see where he can go from there. *Question: How many years left in the ring? Steve is looking at about 3 more years. *Question: Tough Enough It sounds like it will make for very interesting TV. He did not get to see the show but visited the location while they were shooting. Reality shows seem to be very popular right now so he thinks it will do well. *Question: Working with Debra To Steve, it is just work. Debra enjoys being on TV. Some of the hostilities that are portrayed can be pretty real as they live together. *Question: Being the main event He always wants to go out there and have the best match of the card. That is what drives great performers. However, sometimes it just doesn't turn out like that. He feels that it will be a great match this Sunday. *Question: Who would he like to face in WCW? No one really. They have been off TV for a while. They would have to get back on TV and then he would think about it. He couldn't name anyone off the top of his head.
