Thanks for reading. naidO// ====================================================================== TOP HEADLINE//======================================================== -Official RAW is WAR preview and DirecTV preview: The 2001 King of the Ring is just six days away on Pay-Per-View, and the action's sure to be hot tonight on RAW IS WAR, at 9/8 CT on TNN, live from the Ice Palace in Tampa, Fla.! The quarterfinals of the King of the Ring tournament begin tonight, with two men advancing to the semifinals this Sunday on Pay-Per-View. The brackets were announced yesterday on HEAT, and include the following first-round matches: Kurt Angle vs. Jeff Hardy, Big Show vs. Christian, Rhyno vs. Tajiri and Edge vs. Saturn. WWF.com has not yet received word from Commissioner Regal's office as to which two matches will air tonight and which two will air on SmackDown!, but once we do we will pass that along to you! Speaking of Angle, Shane McMahon has indeed accepted the Olympian's challenge to make their match at King of the Ring a Street Fight. Just six days before King of the Ring -- and just four days after Shane and Stacy Keibler made a splash on SmackDown! -- one has to wonder what the WCW chairman has up his sleeve for RAW! Who is stalking the Undertaker's wife? On SmackDown!, we saw perhaps the most myerious footage yet, with the stalker vowing to reveal himself sooner than later. Will we get more information as to the stalker's identity tonight? Tune in to find out! Six days remain until King of the Ring, which means that six days may remain in the title reign of Stone Cold Steve Austin, with both Chris Jericho and Chris Benoit breathing down his neck. Monday at 6:30pm for an interview about his upcoming flim, "The Scorpion King". -A reminder to look for Chris Jericho's new entrance theme and video tonight on RAW. -The tournament bracket was unveiled for King of the Ring on HEAT last night. Two of the matches will be contested tonight on RAw while the other two will be done on SmackDown! The remainder will be featured on the PPV *Kurt Angle vs. Jeff Hardy *Big Show vs. Christian *Rhyno vs. Tajiri *Saturn vs. Edge -Dave Meltzer suspects that there won't be an official Undertaker vs. Stalker match at the PPV, but we will see the identity of the person either on TV this week or at the PPV. -"Tough Enough" debuts following Smackdown this Thursday night. Smackdown is on UPN, then "Tough Enough" airs afterward on MTV. -For the weekend of June 4-10, the MTV Movie Awards knocked WWF Raw is War out of the top position as the highest rated cable show of the week, drawing a 4.3 rating. Warzone (hour 2) finished at no. 2 with a 3.6 rating and Raw (hour 1) finished third with a 3.1 rating. "Probably off kissing that little runt, Spike Dudley," Crash replied, shuddering all over at the thought of his own flesh and blood playing tonsil hockey with a former resident of -- ugh -- Dudleyville. "Well, go find her, and make her brush her teeth or something," Hardcore said, repulsed at the mental image called up by Crash's suggestion. "We have a match." "Sorry, cuz," Molly said brightly when Crash finally tracked her down, finding her hunkered down by the snack table, conspicuously alone."I'm not wrestling tonight. You guys will have to fend for yourselves." "What!?" Crash exclaimed, his hands flying to his head. "How are we supposed to have a six-man match if one of our men - er, well... you know what I mean - is copping out on us? Gee whiz!" Shrugging prettily, Molly flashed her pearly whites. "C'mon, Crash. You mean two men, both over--" she snickered -- "four hundred pounds, are worried about two little ol' Acolytes and that pussycat, Jackie?" "Well, no," Crash, puffing out his chest, replied. "But we like to have you there to, you know, even up the score. In numbers only, of course," he added hastily. "I'll be rooting you on from backstage," Molly reassured him. "Now, you and Bob run along and win your match... Gee, I'm starving!" As soon as Crash disappeared, shaking his head in utter bewilderment, Molly slipped around the corner, where Spike awaited with open arms. ** "Not that I care," Buh Buh Ray said for clarification, "but where has Spike been sneaking off to lately? He's never around anymore." "If you don't know, you're dumber than you look," D'Von replied, rolling his eyes. "He's with that bimbo, Molly Holly. And the buzz around the locker room is that they're hiding something... and it's BIG." "We may have disowned him, but he's still tarnishing the Dudley name," Buh Buh fumed. "I think we should have a word with our disillusioned little brother... and if we have to, we'll beat this secret out of him." ** "Out with it, Molly," Hardcore demanded, backing his cousin into a corner. "We've been hearing rumors for weeks about something going down between you and that rat Dudley... and I want to know what it is." "She's been missing an awful lot of matches lately," Crash mused thoughtfully. "And she's been seen a heck of a lot of times in a huddle with the little runt... seems to me they're making some kind of plans." "And what kind of plans does a girl make with her boyfriend when she knows her family hates him?" Hardcore continued, staring at Molly menacingly. "I have some ideas of my own," spoke a deep, angry voice from the doorway. There stood Buh Buh Ray Dudley, along with his two brothers, Spike looking decidedly reluctant with both Buh Buh and D'Von holding his arms in a death-grip. "We can't get him to talk," D'Von said, scowling at his younger half-brother, who stared imploringly at Molly, his stringy hair hanging in his face. "But we thought if we confronted both of them with the truth, they might be convinced to talk." "You haven't fooled us," Hardcore snarled, getting right up in Spike's face. "It hasn't been hard to figure out," Buh Buh agreed, glaring ominously at Molly. "Even a couple of inbred rednecks like your cousins have figured it out." Molly and Spike sat in mute terror as their families closed in on them. "You're going to elope, aren't you?" The new-age Romeo and Juliet looked at each other silently, their eyes wide... then, to the shock and dismay of their families, they began to whoop and bray hysterical peals of laughter! "What the hell's so funny?" Buh Buh shouted, more confused than usual. Between gasps and guffaws, Spike managed to exclaim, "We're not getting married!" "Where did you get that idea?" Molly giggled, wiping her streaming eyes. "If it's not that, what is it?" Crash asked. "And if you won't tell us, we'll beat it out of you," D'Von threatened, puzzlement feeding his fury. "Well..." Molly looked at Spike; Spike gazed at Molly. "There will never be a 'good' time to tell them," Spike sighed, shrugging. "You're right," Molly agreed. "Our two families will never get along...well, until..." Spike finished for her. "Until the baby comes along." Four jaws dropped simultaneously. "I'm pregnant," Molly clarified. "We thought it'd be a quick and painless way to bring the families together," Spike put in, grinning from ear to ear. "So, Uncles... when's the baby shower?" ...and the rest is up to the WWF writers!
