Thirteen talented, charismatic male and female athletes will live together, train together, play together, and compete against each other to achieve their ultimate dream - contracts with the World Wrestling Federation. The show will debut on MTV on Thursday, June 21, at 10:00 p.m. ET, in the U.S. No word on if the series will be shown in Canada. That is down from the 4.3 that it did last week. The show did hours of 3.8 (6.0 share) and 4.4 (7.4). The show did not have one quarter hour that broke 5.0. In fact, the highest quarter was a 4.5. Quarter hours were as follows. Hour 1: 3.3, 3.7, 4.1, and 4.0. Hour 2: 4.5, 4.4, 4.3, and 4.2 Overrun: 4.5. Weekend Ratings: *Livewire did a 0.7 cable rating with a 2.7 share *Superstars did a 0.6 cable rating with a 2.0 share *Heat did a 1.3 cable rating with a 2.4 share *The Heat replay did a 0.7 cable rating with a 1.5 share The 6/7 edition of Smackdown did a 3.9 broadcast rating. The interviewer Terry Moran wrote it off as bad football, but Ventura defended it. Moran admitted he only watched a little of it. "I found our games as exciting as any NFL game I ever watched," Ventura said. The interview can be heard in its entirety at http://www.wrestlepalooz a.com/audioshow.html Here are some highlights from the interview: -Kid Kash has been in contact with several people, including Jimmy Hart about appearing in Hulk Hogan's new promotion and has also thought about wrestling in Japan. He is apprehensive about going to Japan because he wants to be ready if something breaks here in the States. -Kash was contacted by Johnny Ace to appear in WCW while still in ECW. After he was given his release, he came in to wrestle a dark match at Nitro and was then given his Thunder match with Jason Jett (E.Z. Money) -He had actually been performing the top-rope powerbomb to a huracanrana for about long time before he did it in ECW. Kash stated that it is a very difficult move to do and takes a tremendous toll on him. -The Money Maker came from watching variations of the piledriver and decided to combine one with a Tiger Bomb. C.W. Anderson didn't want to take the move, but Kash didn't blame him, and others were not comfortable with taking it either. -Kash modeled his wrestling style from wrestlers like Ricky Steamboat, Dynamite Kid, Tim Horner and Shawn Michaels. -His first match was filling in for Greg Valentine, whom did not show up for an Indy show appearance, in a tag team match. He was not supposed to be tagged in but was and did a Frankensteiner to his opponent, tagged out and got his $50. After that Ricky Morton and Tim Horner said that he had a good look and athleticism and should become involved in the business. -Kid Kash wrestled several matches for the WWF on Shotgun Saturday Night when they were starting the Light Heavyweight division. He was not called back after suffering an injury in a match with Brian Christopher and Scott Taylor. -Became Kid Kash after Paul Heyman was editing the show after one of Kash's match the tape shut off and a Kid Rock video was on TV. Heyman decided that the similar look would lead to Kid Kash's new gimmick. -Kash said that the guys at ECW always were looking to give the fans the most for their hard-earned money. -The ECW TV Title belt caused problems at airports because it looked like a saw blade in an X-ray machine. -He said that cruiserweights differ from the bigger wrestlers because the bigger wrestlers do the same moves every match and the cruiserweights change up their own style. -Kash said that he has been knocked out about three times from kicks from Yoshihiro Tajiri.
