Thanks Thanks for reading. naidO// ====================================================================== TOP HEADLINE//======================================================== -Eric Bischoff's name was mentioned early Tuesday in a federal trial of Steve Kaplan, the owner of the Gold Club, a world famous Atlanta strip club, which has gotten a lot of publicity as its former manager testified many big name athletes were given sexual favors from the dancers. Bischoff's name was one of those mentioned in Tuesday's testimony about having received oral sex from a dancer. The story will make virtually every major newscast and newspaper because of the bigger names mentioned in the testimony, such as Dennis Rodman and Terrell Davis. Source// AP ====================================================================== News from the WWF//=================================================== -Raw did a 4.3 cable rating with a 6.8 share, up from the 4.2 that it had done in the last two weeks. This is the first time since the first week in April that the rating went up from the previous week. The show did hours of 3.9 (6.1 share) and 4.5 (7.5). The show started very slowly, with a 3.1. That indicates to me that people are not tuning in to see the opening interview segment. The show built well though, doing a 5.0 for the overrun quarter where Steve Austin took on Chris Jericho. Hour 1: 3.1, 4.1, 4.1, and 4.4. Hour 2: 4.5, 4.5, 4.4 and 4.5. Overrun: 5.0. -The King of the Ring main event has been changed. The match was originally scheduled to be Steve Austin vs. Chris Jericho for the WWF Title, but the word going around the locker room last night was that it has been changed to a Triple Threat match, with Austin defending the title against Jericho and Chris Benoit. -Chyna is on the cover of the July '01 issue of Ironman magazine, released on newsstands today. -Watch Paul Heyman on Byte This! Olsen told the Pioneer Planet (A St. Paul based newspaper) that his "client was not paid to appear at last night's Raw in Minneapolis, Minn. " "It was a very impromptu event," Olsen stated. "The Governor heard Brock Lesnar was going to be appearing for the first time with the WWF. He wanted to watch. He was invited to walk Brock to the ring. Since he was there, he was asked if he wanted to make another cameo appearance. And he said sure." Brock Lesnar is a former University of Minnesota wrestler and a Ventura protégé.
