Enjoy this latest edition of nWN! -Click for the RAW is WAR results: http://www.naidosworld.com/tvraw.html -Very interesting Raw show last night. Throughout the whole main event last night, I don't think Austin did as good a job selling/wrestling Jericho as he did with Benoit. I think the feeling is that Austin would rather lose his title to Benoit rather than Jericho. That's just my opinion. And by the way, did anyone else notice hard fiercly Morrus' legs were shaking before his moonsault. TALK ABOUT NERVOUS! Thanks for reading. naidO// ====================================================================== TOP HEADLINE//======================================================== -The Pro Wrestling Torch's Jason Powell (who attended last night's RAW in Minnesota) reports Eddie Guerrero was sent packing from RAW for being in "no condition to wrestle". A match scheduled for RAW between Matt Hardy and Guerrero had to be changed at the last minute and Jeff Hardy substituted for Guerrero. Eddie Guerrero's "unprofessional behavior" at last night's RAW was taking too much pain medication. Powell further reports that Guerrero will be seeking rehabilitation at the request of the WWF. He will not be fired and will be given a second chance. As an aside, to those who are wondering why Brian Christopher was let go last week after getting arrested for possession of drugs, the key there was that he was arrested while Guerrero was not. Bret's office in Calgary was flooded with calls shortly after the story first broke. Regarding the internet rumor that Bret Hart reached an agreement to return to the WWF, normally we would not feel the need to respond to such a ridiculous story but being as I have received a few hundred calls here at Bret's office in the last couple of hours from all over the world I just wanted you all to know it's not true. The rumor as originally reported by Bob Ryder is entirely, completely and in all ways false. OR "TRISH, TERRI, BRA, PANTIES, MICK, JESSE AND MORE" Visit My Home Page At: http://members.aol.com/samjerry Has The WWF come out of its slump? Are they again giving the fans what they want? Will the critics find something else to whine about? Last nights RAW had something for everyone. The question is did it have enough to convince the fans that The WWF is back on track. One of the things many people were unhappy with were the long McMahon- A-Thons that many of the shows opened with. It looks like The Emperor has been listening to his loyal subjects. RAW and SmackDown have begun with matches lately as often as they have with talk. RAW began with an Intercontinental Title Match, with Kane defending (or rather destroying) against Christian. Last week Kane dismantled Christian's brother Edge; tonight he completed the family parlay. All things being equal, is there anyone who deserves to be WWF Champion more than Kane? I think not. Many others agree. It looks like he has finally been recognized to some degree; being Hardcore Champion and now holding the Number Two Title. One can but hope that he will soon get the top spot. Then again, we all know better. The Emperor has just promoted two other deserving vassals to the upper level, meaning Kane will have to be satisfied continuing to be uncrowned WWF Champion. We saw the start of the King Of The Ring (KOTR) Tournament, with two matches: Hardy Boy v. Hardy Boy and ManBeast v. Taz. Brother against Brother; the oldest story there is. The Tournament began with Matt v. Jeff, with Lovely Lita at ringside. Who knows more about his opponents moves than his own tag team partner, his own brother? They flew, wrestled and countered each other. In the end Jeff moved on in The Tournament, while Matt moved back to Lita. You decide who the real winner was. The other match wasn't as spectacular, with ManBeast meeting Thug, the mean streets of Detroit meeting the mean streets of Brooklyn's Red Hook section. It wasn't New York's night as Taz was sent back to his cozy spot as color man on Heat. We got our regular dose of Our American Zero. Is there a soul out there who isn't entertained by Zero? How can you not love someone so in love with himself? His bits are pure fun to watch. Narcissus stared in a lake admiring himself; Zero does it with his medals. Throw in a dose of The English Ass With A Mouth and his new Japanese house boy and you have it all. Teaming Zero with The Holly's in a six man tag match against The Dudley Boyz was pure genius. Zero broke Hardcore's arm and dented Crash's head with a chair. The Holly's dislike Zero as much as they do The Dudley's. The interaction between them was something else. On the other side we had Bubba Ray and DeVon as pissed at Little Spike as they are at The Holly's, blaming him for their recent losing streak. Poor Romeo, oops I mean Spike, all he wants is sweet Molly. Molly was hosting RAW at WWF New York and could only tell Spike she felt the same via TV. Isn't young love grand! One has to wonder what species the offspring of a Dudley- Holly union might be. Trish met Terri in a Bra and Panties Match. The match was as predictable as you might expect. Terri came out wearing a short skirt thingie, while Trish had a pair of pants spray painted on. Both lost their tops, giving us Bra's to the delight of every male under the sun. Terri lost her skirt giving us the skimpiest of panties, and waking up the dead. Terri's "boyfriend" (Yuck, the mere thought makes me want to hurl) Perry Saturn came to the ring wearing a robe. He removed it, giving us another set of bra and panties, and burying the living. Terri was more embarrassed than anyone. If only Trish had given us all we wanted. One can dream. Who won? Who cares! The Main Event pitted Stone Cold Steve Austin (SCSA) v. Canadian Chris No. 1 (CC No. 1), aka Y2J. Canadian Chris No. 2, Mr. Gap Tooth, had his chances last week. The Match was a result of Mick Foley producing yet another of his Empress Linda Contracts (Number 658, unofficial count), this one giving him the right to pick the Main Event at a RAW of his choosing. He did say he is running low on them, meaning he has as many let as he wants. When The Emperor cited the Contract was only valid in Connecticut, Mick produced Jesse "The Mind" Ventura, Governor of Minnesota. Jesse declared it to be valid in Minnesota, as the two lawyers in the world who watch wrestling cringed. Mick banned The Emperor and Canadian Chris No. 2 from ringside, and added a "Surprise" to the Match. The Surprise (to three people in Beautiful Downtown Lower Dudleyville) was that Mick was Ringside Enforcer for the match. He enforced the match all right, with a chair to CC No. 1's head, leading to SCSA's victory. This culminated a good match between the two. The WWF has lengthened their Main Events lately, reportedly a Paul E. suggestion. It has definitely improved the quality of the matches. One other thing of note happened. We got another WCW involvement, as Hugh Morrus hit the ring and showed off his Moonsault. He almost got lost racing out of the arena, not being unaccustomed to seeing people beyond the first three rows. Prince Shane continues to hound Daddy Dearest as we approach the relaunch of WCW. WCW is still without a TV deal, as TNN continues to play hardball. You may be able to help. Call the TNN POP Line, 1-888-POP-1090 and tell them you want them to show WCW. It may take you a few attempts to get thru as it appears their telephone equipment was made with parts stripped from The General Lee. ====================================================================== Remember...=========================================================== -Remember that if you've missed any TV Shows, PPV's or more?
