According to insiders, HHH was slated to feud with Chris Benoit over the summer. However, not the WWF will have to changes plans. According to RFVideo.com the WWF may rush for the interpromotional storyline with WCW. They started an issue with Shane McMahon and Kurt Angle last night so this could easily lead to Shane bringing WCW guys on WWF TV. If this happens, WCW wrestlers would be on WWF TV long before a seperate company could start as WCW still doesn't have its own timeslot and has no buildings booked. WCW's TV deal hasn't been confirmed yet, and so to be relaistic it still may need 2 months before actually starting. It's not been completed yet, however some sources who have read the unfinished manuscript believe that the book will have a potential to be one of the best wrestling related books ever published in the market in the last few years. -WrestleXpress agents were in discussions with a UK Pay-Per-View provider this morning about airing their live events in the UK on PPV. Currently, the WWF stages two wrestling Pay-Per-Views in the UK a year on the Sky Box Office. The two annual WWF Pay-Per-Views, Rebellion and InsurreXtion are the highest grossing PPV events in the UK, thus surpassing the PPV revenue for all live Boxing, Music and the Hollywood Blockbuster movies. It appears that there is room in the market for further Pay-Per-Views in the UK and by all accounts, discussions were very positive. WrestleXpress and the PPV provider will ensue discussions this week. I've also learned that a Japanese TV group may be flying in to film and broadcast the event for the Japanese market. Here's a breakdown of the ratings: Hour 1 = 4.0 , Hour 2 = 4.2 QH1: 3.6 , QH2: 4.0 , QH3: 4.1 , QH4: 4.5 , QH5: 4.9 , QH6: 4.3 , QH7: 4.1 , QH8: 4.2 , Overrun: 4.5 The show peaked with Kurt Angle's medal ceremony and its lowest point was Steve Austin repeating his name over and over for the first 15 minutes. Ratings for RAW have declined steadily since the end of the Monday night wars and may have sped up the invasion angle with WCW. Triple H's injury is reported to keep him out until September/October. Urgency has arisen in the WWFE. Weekend ratings are as follows: *Livewire did a 1.0 cable rating, with a 3.6 share. *Superstars did a 0.8 cable rating, with a 2.3 share. *Heat did a 1.3 cable rating, with a 2.3 share. *Heat replay did a 0.7 cable rating, with a 1.6 share.
