Enjoy this latest edition of nWN! -Click for the JUDGMENT DAY PPV results: http://www.naidosworld.com/results_jd01.html -I just finished reading teh Rolling Stone articlefeaturing the Rock and I must say, it's probably one of the BEST interviews I've read. And I've read A LOT of interviews. You really get a peak into a day in the life of Dwayne Johnson. While there are parts where he's just like his WWF character, he's humble as well. Plus, why pass up an opportunity to see the Rock quoted as saying "bullsh*t" and "fu*k"? Kinda makes me wish he were in ECW so I could hear him go all out in his promos! I didn't see the PPV and of course my girlfriend didn't tape it. I probably won't see the damn thing until next Sunday. Oh well. At least I get to fast forward what appeared to be a five star match with Chyna! Thanks for reading. naidO// ====================================================================== TOP HEADLINE//======================================================== -Official RAW preview Last night's Judgment Day Pay-Per-View was absolutely explosive, but the action doesn't stop there! Two names strongly making the rounds as candidates are Rob Van Dam and Buff Bagwell. Van Dam has been in negotiations with Ross lately. I think he would be a perfect guy to come into WCW due to his name value as one of the top guys from ECW. While that may not mean much for a guy coming in for the WWF, it would mean more for the new WCW, especially given the absence of people like Goldberg and Sting at the top of the company. Plus, Rob would, at least in theory, be familiar to the ECW audience that used to watch the show on TNN as well. And, no one has ever questioned Van Dam's work ethic. As you probably remember, Bagwell's WCW contract expired earlier this year. He then signed a two month extension. With that expired, he becomes one of the big WCW names that the WWF can go after for WCW. I think Buff would be a good signing for the WWF as well. While he has had some attitude problems in the past in WCW, I think that at this point everyone from the old WCW deserves at least one more chance considering the fact that WCW was run so poorly and actually created an environment that encouraged poor behavior from its wrestlers. Other names that are being talked about, with less certainty, as to possibly coming into WCW are Dallas Page and Booker T. Both men are still signed to deals with AOL Time Warner, and those would obviously have to be bought out first. Rumors have been going around the business for weeks that Page not only wants a buyout, but has initiated it with AOL management. As I have said before, at his age, the future is now and he needs to get back in the ring as soon as he can because no matter how good of shape he is in, time is still marching forward on him. The WWF has wanted Booker T from the beginning as well. I have not heard either way as to whether he has had any movement on his contract, but the WWF wants him to be in WCW, for sure. -1wrestling.com is reporting that inside sources have mentioned to them that Ric Flair is also close to agree a settlement with AOL Time Warner. Some sources even say that Ross has met with him also. It is not known if he is under serious consideration for the new WCW. Some have been judged, some were prejudged, and others should have size 14 judgments shoved up their candy asses. Over the next week you will be reading results and analyses columns until you are ready to punt them with your size 14, so I figured I ought to get mine in early. Some will say Judgment Day sucked worse than an X-Puke / Big Slob marathon, while others will call it the greatest thing since the Popiel Slicer and Dicer. If anyone cares, which is highly doubtful, I thought it was pretty good.Following is look at it match by match: The Ass With Legs v. The Ass With A Mouth: In a match that was highly anticipated by the entire population of Buttholeia, Samoa and three drunks at Morley's Pub in gorgeous Blackpool, UK, the Mouth took a Stink Face from The Ass, but had last laugh as he wiped The Ass with his new finisher, The Charminizer. A Stink Face and A Charminizer, who could ask for anything more? Our American Olympic Zero v. The Gap Toothed Canadian: This was a Two-Out-Of-Three Falls Medals Match (as in "If you don't give me my medals back, I'll tell your mother on you) with the first being a Pin Fall, the second a Submission, and the third, if needed, a Ladder Match. In this case, Webster defined "If Needed," as "You can bet your first born that it was going to happen." There were actually four people who believed it would only go Two Falls; all four reside in Not-So-Beautiful Uptown Dudleyville. After removing Zero's medals from their warm home by his crotch, Gap Tooth won the First Fall after an Angle Slam. Being pinned after taking his patented move caused Zero to break down and cry. Gap Tooth tried to end the match right then and there (fat chance), but Zero dug down deep and after going back and forth, Ankle Locked his way into the third and deciding Ladder Match. They put on a surprisingly good match. Just as it appeared that Gap Tooth had climbed the Ladder and had the medals in sight, Zero's buddies Edge and Christian appeared and spoiled his fun. Zero retrieved his medals, and after an acid bath will again wear them around his neck. He later said he plans a big ceremony on RAW tonight to celebrate their return. The Undertaker paid a call on WWF Commissioner, The Ass With A Mouth, for tea and crumpets. He demanded his WWF Title Match v. Stone Cold Steve Austin (SCSA) be made a No Holds Barred Match. Deciding that it was better to drink his tea rather than having the pot shoved up his Candy Ass, agreed. Expecting another tea pot relocation was in the cards, he was quite pleased that SCSA gladly agreed. Next up was the Triple Threat Hardcore Championship Match, with Rhyno (C) v. Test v. El Grande Slobbo. A standard Hardcore Match with the usual crapola (i.e., garbage cans, garbage can lids, chairs, fire extinguishers, etc.) used. It went into the crowd and back stage (yawn), where more of the usual was employed (pallets, boxes, etc.). Almost pins, near pins, broken pins, clothes pins, safety pins. The end came when The Man Beast dispatched Test with a garbage can head shot, threw the can to El Grande Slobbo, and gored it into him as he caught it. Wrestlers never learn. Lesson One in The Hardcore Manual says to never catch a thrown garbage can, as it almost always leads to your demise. Chyna then defended her Women's Title against Lita. While Lita put up a good match against The Ninth Wonder, Chyna had a harder time keeping her plastic enhancements covered. Either she grew two bra sizes or her top shrunk because her puppies were looking for some air. They started out like they were sisters, then it appeared that Chyna was going for her much speculated heel turn. She cleaned up her act and won with a Power Bomb that Lita will be feeling for a week. After the match they hugged and made nice. Chyna kept adjusting her top. Latino Heat watched the match, but didn't get involved as many thought he might. He may have wanted a closer look at Chyna's assets. Next up was the Intercontinental Title Match, with HHH (C) meeting Kane, in A Chain Match. The match was as brutal as advertised, with HHH bleeding like a stuck pig. The match was fought as much outside the ring as it was inside. The Chain was used wrapped around fists, as a garrote, to drag and pull the other wrestler around, etc. Kane pinned HHH after SCSA accidentally clocked HHH with a chair while trying to save him. HHH was not the happiest camper in the building after eating SCSA's chair shot. The Emperor went to great lengths trying to keep The Unholy Alliance together. After the pounding HHH took, it was apparent he and Princess Stephanie were not going to be indulging in connubial bliss last night. The Big Red Machine is now the Intercontinental Champion. Long live Kane. The crowd was abuzz as The Tag Team Turmoil Match got underway, with the winner becoming Number One Contender for the Tag Team Titles held by HHH and SCSA. It began with The APA (Farooq and Bradshaw) facing The Remaining Radicalz, Dean Malenko and Perry Saturn, along with Terri. Terri must have been jealous of Chyna as she wore a top that barely covered her puppies. All it would have taken was a gentle breeze and they would have been free. Alas, no breeze, no puppies. Double alas as Farooq pinned Saturn, sending The Radicalz, Terri and her puppies back to the pound, killing any chance of a better view. Next in were The Dudley Boyz, Bubba Ray and DeVon, accompanied by Spike. Good Old JR gave us a geography lesson, pointing out that Dudleyville was a neighbor of Parts Unknown. The Holly Boyz rushed to ringside as DeVon was getting an Acme Table, manufactured by Acme Table and Steel Chair Company, Division of The Acme Corporation ready. Hardcore put DeVon thru it at ringside. Meanwhile back in the ring, Bradshaw nailed Bubba Ray with The Clothesline From Hell. Exit Dudley Boyz, enter X-Factor, giving us X- Puke, Justin A*shole and Albert. Bradshaw's foot accidentally got caught in Albert's hands as her watched innocently at ringside. This allowed X-Puke to pin Bradshaw, sending APA back to play some poker and drink a lot of beer. They didn't complain. It was The Hardy Boyz turn next. Much to the chagrin of many young females, The Hardy's couldn't fight three men. Yes, I know you will find it hard to believe, but Albert got involved. Matt ate Justin's foot and was covered by X-Puke. Y2J came out and introduced his Mystery Partner (a 'mystery' to the same four Einstein's above). During the fight, the referee was knocked into next Wednesday and we got another one. It ended with Y2J clamping The Wall Of Jericho on X-Puke, as Gapped Tooth locked As*hole in The Crippler Crossface, causing both to tap out as a dazed Albert wandered around aimlessly. The last team in was Edge and Christian. The last team out was Edge and Christian, as Gapped Tooth made Christian yell "aunt" (Shows Political Correctness) to The Crossface. Les Canadian Chris are now Numero Uno Contendere for the Tag Team Titles. The Main Event followed, with SCSA (C) v. The Taker, for The WWF Title in a No Holds Barred, Anything Goes, Do What You Want Where You Want Match. They did and they did again. They fought like one of them got the others wife involved. The Taker showed a lot of his old darkside personality as he did his best to maim our Champion. Not to be outdone, SCSA did his best to send The Taker back to his mortuary. The Taker bled, and he bled. Both men came close to victory several times, with SCSA hitting a Stunner and The Taker a Chokeslam. Just when it appeared that The Taker had SCSA, in came The Emperor to break up the pin, just as HHH was blasted racing in carrying his trusty sledge hammer. Taker was about to give SCSA The Last Ride, when HHH nailed him with the sledge hammer. SCSA covered him for the victory as a late arriving Kane appeared. Kane must have stopped for cold one so was late. I'm sure big brother will discuss it with him. SCSA retains the Title and The Taker lives to fight another day. Final Score: Brothers of Destruction 1, Unholy Alliance 1. Where goeth we next. We will find out on RAW, or depending on when you read this, you'll already know. ====================================================================== Comment//============================================================= SO, WHY DON'T THEY...? (Off-the-Wall Ideas and Predictions) by ~*Laine*~ - Week of May 21, 2001 ~"Love, Honor, and Defend My Title?"~ "I want a rematch." The Undertaker glowered down at Regal, who was hiding behind his desk. It was the night after Judgment Day, and Raw is War was in full swing, but the only thought on the Dead Man's mind was retaliation. "Why should I give you a rematch, you miserable toe-rag?" Regal sniffed, twisting his face into his patented "I-just-smelled- something-horrible-and-I-hope-it-wasn't-me" expression.. "Because if you don't... I'll make you famous." "Very well, then!" Regal (also known as "The Besmirchinator") stammered, clutching his teacup for support. "You can have your rematch... with one stipulation. It's going to be a three-way match for the WWF world title, involving you, Steve Austin, and... Triple H. Now, bugger off." Although it was obvious that the Undertaker was getting the shaft, he quickly accepted. "Two asses to kick are better than one," he muttered, storming from the commissioner's office. Triple H and Stone Cold Steve Austin stood in the ring, glaring at the 'Taker as he appeared at the top of the ramp, a cocky swagger in his step, hands in his pockets, American Badass to the bone. Then, suddenly, the sound of an explosive car crash brought the arena to its feet as Mick Foley appeared beneath the TItanTron! Waving merrily, a jolly grin half-hidden behind his rampant beard and a copy of "Foley is Good" clutched under one pudgy, flannel-clad arm, Foley took his place next to Dead Man Inc., much to the dismay of the McMahon clan. "What do you say we make this interesting?" Foley said in that happy- go-lucky way of his. "I think the Undertaker deserves a fair shot at the belt, so I'm going to add my two cents to this match. I have with me a copy of one of the contracts Linda and I drew up right before Vince dropped the axe... this one gives me the power, at my discretion, to substitute participants in a match... including a match for the world title." Triple H and Stone Cold paled visibly. "And I figured, since you two were so willing to get the Undertaker's wife involved last week, that you wouldn't mind if she had a hand in this," Foley continued wryly. "So, for the world title, all three of your wives, Sara, Stephanie, and Debra, will be participating in your places!" "What the hell is wrong with you, Foley?" Triple H roared. "My name is Stone Cold Steve Austin!" Sellout 3:16 piped up YET AGAIN for no apparent reason. "And what makes you think my wife can wrestle to save her own life, let alone defend my title?" "Whoever makes the pin wins the belt for her husband," Mick Foley concluded, ignoring them completely and looking extremely proud of himself. "Oh, and guys?... Have a nice day!" ...and the rest is up to the WWF writers! Until next week -- "dreamlike crazy..." ====================================================================== Remember...=========================================================== -Remember that if you've missed any TV Shows, PPV's or more?
