After the match, he was apparently in a tremendous amount of pain and is scheduled for an MRI later today to determine the full extent of the injury. His PPV match with William Regal is in doubt. Source// The Law ====================================================================== News from the WWF//=================================================== -Apparently, the only way Shawn Michaels could come back to the WWF is if he completes rehabilitation for substance abuse. -There is a plan for at tonight's Smackdown tapings in Louisville, for the OVW Southern tag titles to be at stake in a dark match on the show. This has not been announced, but it would make the most sense for Damien & B.J. Payne, who were the last champions, to defend against Brock Lesnar & Shelton Benjamin -Kurt Angle did an interview with Salt Lake City Weekly, talking about his time in the business. In the conversation, Angle said that in his early time in the WWF, he wore the Olympic Medal he won in 1996, but stopped when it started to get damaged. He also said that he didn't want to come in as "the Olympic hero", but wanted to do a different character. He said he has a meeting with Universal Studios today about starting his own promotion that is "make or break." He also said his contract with AOL/TIMEWARNER had been broken a long time ago and he has been talking to Vince McMahon about some things. Remember, this is Hulk Hogan, so don't take anything he says too seriously. As an aside, despite so many stories circulating to the contrary, there is no deal between Hulk Hogan and Universal, nor is the deal that has been talked about between the sides dead. The sides have a meeting scheduled today which is the meeting that was originally scheduled for 5/1 that was canceled. At one point this was expected to be when a final decision was going to be made one way or the other about what Universal would or wouldn't want to do associated with Hogan and pro wrestling. -If you were planning on buying any of the XFL merchandise, prices on all items have now dropped by 30% on XFLShop.com -Abdullah the Butcher was a guest on the 'Get in the Ring' radio show about of New York, on 1240 AM WGBB.
