The filing will alleviate HHG, the parent company of ECW and owner Paul Heyman, of the debt. Any future revenue coming into ECW will go toward paying creditors. At WrestleMania, Linda snuck up behind her husband and kicked him in his infamous "grapefruits!" This past Thursday on SmackDown!, Linda said that tonight on RAW, she would hit Vince where it really hurt. Linda has already kicked Vince in the "family jewels" -- so if tonight's announcement will hurt even more than that, you can't miss whatever it is that Linda has to say when RAW IS WAR airs LIVE tonight at 9/8 CT from the FleetCenter in Boston! All the key players in the World Wrestling Federation are expected to be in the house tonight -- including Stone Cold Steve Austin and Triple H! But one man who definitely won't be on tonight's show is The Rock, who was suspended indefinitely by Mr. McMahon last week on SmackDown! The training classes will be held at his Lion's Den training center in California. His plans also include starting a small Indy fed so that his students can perform in front of live audience. They also discuss Shane McMahon's final address to the WCW wrestlers, Elix's feelings of Team Canada, the WCW Cruiserweight Tag-Team division, and much more. Jason: Let's get into the serious stuff, a lot of rumors are always circulating so we like to get the scoop right from the people involved, your contract, has it been picked up by the WWF or was it picked up by Time Warner? He was participating in a contest in which the listener who got the biggest celebrity to call in would win concert tickets. Anyway, he spoke for around five minutes and had the following to say: -He believes the WWF/WCW merger will have both good and bad consequences for the business. Flair stated that for the past six months, WCW wasn't doing well and he didn't think that the company could go on in that shape. -Flair thinks that a new promotion will start up to compete with the World Wrestling Federation. He didn't mention any names in particular. -One of the DJ's mentioned a rumor regarding Austin and Goldberg wrestling in a final match and then retiring with the revenues earned from the PPV. Flair said this, as well as a cross-promotional PPV, are highly unlikely. Flair said that Goldberg is under AOL Time Warner contract and he gave no indication of him jumping to the WWF or the new WCW. -In other comments, Flair stated that he sold four of his gyms and has four remaining. Thanks to Paul Banker and PureWWFRage for the report. ______________________________________________________________________ [Article] XFL overnight ratings - Higher than last week, not by much NEW YORK (AP) - The final regular-season telecast of an XFL game on NBC matched its poorest overnight ratings of the year. The league's Week 10 broadcast Saturday night of the Los Angeles Extreme's 24-0 victory over the San Francisco Demons drew a 1.7 rating with a 3 share, exactly the same as a week ago. The XFL's ratings on NBC have plummeted since the debut earned a 9.5 rating. The league and the network have indicated the low ratings make it unlikely NBC will broadcast games Saturday nights next year. ``There are some things that quite frankly we were unprepared for,'' XFL president Basil DeVito said recently. ``We didn't do everything well out of the gate.'' A ratings point represents 1.02 million households, or 1 percent of the nation's estimated 102 million TV homes.
