It is expected he will be able to work on Nitro (Dave Scherer) ______________________________________________________________________ [News from The WWF] **Official RAW is WAR preview: Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock keep crossing paths, as they prepare for the biggest match in World Wrestling Federation history, coming up at WrestleMania. This past Thursday on SmackDown!, the Rattlesnake was shocked to see his wife, Debra, checking on The Rock, just moments after Austin had saved her from a vicious attack by Rikishi! The winners of this contest will advance to the finals at WCW Greed -- and earn an opportunity to be the division's inaugural title holders. Lance Storm and Mike Awesome vs. The Mamalukes Warming up for their WCW Greed match, Lance Storm and Mike Awesome will battle these former tag team champions. Sugar Shane Helms vs. Evan Karagias Former Three Count teammates and longtime friends, Helms and Karagias promise to light up Knoxville with their rage and high-flying acrobatics. Kanyon vs. DISQO Since The Cat has prepared for the PPV with matches against monsters like Scott Steiner, the CEO's office opted to give Kanyon a warm-up match as well. However, many WWF officials are claiming that Nash will not be welcomed back like he thinks he will be. **Wrestling fans around the world are showing their support for Crowbar, who has just recently been released from WCW. According to a poll on 1wrestling.com, 90% of the fans claimed that WCW made a very big mistake. Crowbar wanted to personally thanks everybody for the overwhelming support, and he will get back to everybodys emails/calls, however it will take time. Siegel has been on vacation all week long, therefore making no statements and leaving little to be left known to the public. For the whole past week, Bischoff has been lobbying in Hawaii. Bischoff could be in Hawaii for a variety of reasons, the most likely being to keep negotiations up with Seigel. If negotiations fall through with the Fusient deal, then there is a slight possibility that we have seen the last of WCW. WCW and Fusient have been making all types of plans regarding the company ever since the press conference in January. However, there has been no official decision whether or not Fusient will buy out the company that was once at the top in this business. According to many Wallstreet sources all week long, the Fusient deal may possibly be dead. If this is the case, it leaves a big decision to be made on the part of Brad Seigel. A WCW shutdown is in serious consideration and is a heavy possibilty.
