However wrestlers such as RTC, Hardy Boyz, Saturn, Tazz, Kaientai, Lo Down, Too Cool, Albert, Crash and more are expected to be added. The WWF may even do the same deal as last year where some wrestlers in the earlier card matches might also enter the Rumble as well. Everything will either be confirmed on Smackdown tonight or during the weekend on the WWF.com website. Trish and Stephanie cat fight. So do Hunter and Angle. - Edge faces Buh-Buh Ray Dudley. - Hardy Boys, Lita against A.P.A., Jackie. - Vince McMahon has a "mystery guest" for the Royal Rumble. Didn't we just see that in another wrestling promotion? - Test and Val Venis mix it up. - Chyna and RTC collide again. - Angle, Rikishi, Kane fight The Rock, Triple H and Austin. **Christian has a nagging injury in his shoulder's ACC joint and will have it checked out by a specialist this week. He is not expected to miss any in-ring action. **Paul Bearer has updated his commentary over at wwf.com, in it he writes about the Royal Rumble, and his hometown of Mobile, ALA. **After working very hard to improve his stamina, lose weight and become the wrestler that the WWF wanted him to be, all signs point to the Big Show returning to the WWF very soon. Word coming out of Ohio Valley Wrestling, from numerous sources, is that that Show's last appearance on an OVW show will take place on 1/31, and then he will come back to the WWF. Some have said there is an outside chance that Show will be at the Royal Rumble this weekend, perhaps even participation, but either way, it appears that the slimmed down big man will be back in the WWF very soon. He is going home to Marion, AR to rehabilitate his leg, which will take 6 to 8 months for his broken tibia and fibula to heal. He also speaks of an interesting recent experience at Cracker Barrel. Only a few people knew about it, which is why it didn't get out. It's kind of refreshing to be surprised every now and then isn't it? The national results for November, compiled by the Nielsen Ratings, were compared with a similar period last year in most of the largest markets. The wrestling show, despite being only three months old, also increased market share when compared with the show that was its lead- in. "We are delighted by the results," said Jeffrey J. Lewis, WOW Entertainment's Chief Executive Officer. "The ratings demonstrate that despite minimal marketing that the show has developed a significant following. We look forward to building upon this interest through our Internet site and pay-per-view events." Not only does WCW get sold, but they have a pay per view that was actually watchable. From all accounts I've read and heard, Sin was a decent effort. At least this time only the main event sucked, not the whole card. Road Warrior Animal? Come on guys, you have got to do better than that. I have to admit, I did flip back and forth again on Monday. The funeral was actually kind of funny. The premise was amusing, but some of the acting downright sucked. Get Buffy a Midol already, will ya? As for Ric Flair joining up with the bad guys, it makes sense. Flair plays both sides of the fence, so a heel turn was just a matter of time. My question becomes is this what WCW wants to build around now: A Wal- Mart version of the 4 Horsemen? Steiner is a top talent, but Triple J, The Total Loser, Buffy, and Metamucil Warrior animal? Why does it seem that some of the better talent is still relegated to the undercard (Read: Lance Storm and Shane Douglas) While the Old and the Useless continue to ride in the front seat? And who are our heroes this time? Big Lazy, Dirtbag Page, and the Dogfaced Goofball. The only guy that keeps this group going is The Cat. Unless of course, Good Old Eric revives the careers of Sting, Booker T., and $oldberg, who appear to be as useful as stale beer right now. Also, is it just me, or are the Thrillers actually getting over. They're actually doing well in higher profile angles, and it's nice to see some good supporting angles. I have to admit, the undercard was actually okay on Monday night. Nothing to write home about, but nothing putrid either. Although we need more women!! I've also been impressed with Chavo Guerrero lately. He's always been a good ring performer, but now they've given him the attitude. He is actually more interesting than "Latino Cheat". Lastly, thoughts and prayers go out to Softball Sid. What a gruesome injury. Here's hoping there's more extra innings and keggers in your future, and let's hope that WCW can deliver some competition.
