Smith has had a volatile relationship with the Hart family, and recently said he was washing his hands of the family. The latest charge involves a threat allegedly made against Bruce Hart, who is the estranged husband of Smith's current girlfriend. The show featured the return of Tazz and the Dudley Boyz. **Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) television personality, "Quintessential Studmuffin" Joel Gertner, has thrown his neckbrace, and his hat, into the ring so to speak, with the announcement that he will be competing on the World Racing Extreme Consumer Car Circuit. He will race for Team Toyota. Most of the cuts came from the technological wing as they found that they didn't need all the manpower that had helped build the website to maintain it. This does not bode well for Extreme Championship Wrestling owner Paul Heyman, since the Farmclub.com show was the only place that any ECW product was being seen on a national stage, thanks to the freshly started "ECW Video of the Week" segment. It appears that the disappearance of RAW as a lead-in show was also a factor in the cutbacks since the ratings for Farmclub.com have dropped since the WWF left the USA Network. (Cred: 1Wrestling, The Law) __________________ [In other news...] **Word is that Randy Savage will be playing a wrestler not a super- powered foe in the upcoming Spider-Man film by Sam Raimi. If you remember the storyline from the comic books, when Spidey first got his powers he used them for personal gain (making some extra money at pro-wrestling matches) not for fighting crime until tragedy struck his family. (Cred: SLAM!) ______________________________________________________________________ [Article] Hennan Radio Former WWF and WCW manager and announcer Bobby Heenan was a guest host on the afternoon drive-time show on 1070 WIBC in Indianapolis on 12/21. He made some interesting comments in regards to wrestling including admitting that he would not be returning to wrestling. He claimed to be tired of the constant travel and he doesn't like the current product. He also said that he had invested and saved his money, so there was no need to go back to wrestling. He also said that when it comes to WCW, "nobody is driving the bus".
