He mentioned that the WWF felt that Kid Rock's "American Bad Ass" was to overexposed and they wanted to make a change. According to Undertaker, Limp Bizkit are going to record a special track just for him. Hardcore Holly - Val Venis d. Chyna - Chris Jericho d. Kane - Edge & Christian d. everyone for the Tag Titles - Chris Benoit d. Billy Gunn - Ivory d. Trish and Holly - Kurt Angle d. everyone to retain his World Title Gold **The Dean Malenko vs. Lita feud is far from over. While leaving the ring after the 6-Person Elimination Match, she said "I know I can beat him." However it may turn out that Lita will infact pair with Malenko, sometime in the future, because the WWF believes the two have great chemistry when working together. **The reason that the proposed match of Steve Blackman and Too Cool vs. Lo Down and Tiger Ali Singh did not go ahead at the PPV, was because Blackman was suffering from a stomach ulcer, and was pulled out of the match. Instead, Scotty 2 Hotty vs. D'Lo Brown took place on Heat. **Raven and Hardcore Holly will be involved in a heated feud over the next few weeks, The WWF are trying to push Raven as a legitimate hardcore wrestler, and he may even wind up in the Hardcore Title picture very soon with Steve Blackman. **Another feud which is probably not over, is the Billy Gunn vs. Chris Benoit series. It may even last as far as the Royal Rumble, which may culminate in another match at the PPV. **Last Thursday's Smackdown did a 5.0 broadcast rating with a 7.8 share. What that means is that Smackdown is the WWF's number one show by far now. Since a cable rating of 5.0 (which Raw has done for the last four weeks) translates to around a 4.0 broadcast rating because the cable market covers only about 80% of the broadcast market, Smackdown is clearly drawing more viewers for the WWF than Raw is and is now their top show. **Chris Jericho has updated his commentary at www.chrisjericho.com sending out a Merry Christmas wish to all of the Jerichoholics. (Cred: Ultimo Wrestling) _______________ [News from WCW] **Here is what to expect on a special Tuesday edition of Nitro: -CEO Flair will have extra security for Scott Steiner and Sid Vicious. -The Cat & Miss Jones will take on Lance Storm & Major Gunns. -Jeff Jarrett & The Harris Brothers vs The Filthy Animals in an elimination match. -Shane Douglas vs Corporal Cajun. **WCW Nitro will not air on Christmas Day or New Years Day because of TNT specials. There will still be a Nitro taping on December 22 in Memphis, Tennessee. Nitro will be taped for overseas audiences and no storylines will be advanced. An episode of Thunder will also be taped set to air January 3. 12/27 Thunder will be a "best of" program. **WCW Nitro Girl Baby is leaving WCW to go back to School. **Chiquita is also expected to leave the Nitro Girls in February, at which point Paisley will probably rejoin the dancers. **It is rumored that Shane Douglas and Major Gunns may team up, sometime in the near future. I'M NOT ON DRUGS" In the new trailer for the extended videotape version of "Beyond the Mat", they have a 3 and a half minute interview with Chyna where she talks about how "dysfunctional" her family was when she was growing up as a child. She said that her father was a drunk and her mother was married many times. She said she was was abused as a child, which caused her to withdraw. She said her mother took this to mean that she was doing drugs and put her in drug rehab, even though she said, "I will not do that. I'm not on drugs." Chyna said that is caused her to leave the country when she was 15 years old. She then talked about how she used the negatives in her life to move forward and get where she is today. (1Wrestling) ______________________________________________________________________ [Article] Off camera happenings at Armageddon Hunter Barnes sent the following report, live from Armageddon. There were many great things about the Armageddon PPV. The BBQ before the show was ok as the food was not bad. JR's sauce? Well it was ok. They moved people through fast (for food) but the autographs they gave were only a WWF attitude picture. They wouldn't let you get other stuff signed and it took forever to get the picturew. Before the show, none other than Kurt Angle signed for over 30 minutes. Super nice guy. D-Von signed for awhile as well. I was about to miss him when I yelled out, "Hey D-Von, sign one for an ECW fan" and he turned right around, smiled, signed my picture, and went on. Bubba came back out to sign, and others did as well. There was one dark match, D-Lo Brown vs. Scotty Too Hotty. The match was quick and was OK. Scotty won with the worm. The crowd was dead until the worm. Chyna was super over as she got a great pop. One of the rockets came really close to the fans. Biggest pops: 1. Foley 2. Rock/Austin- vary close 3. Undertaker 4. Dudley Boyz 5. APA got a great pop Biggest heat 1. Vince 2. Rikishi 3. Benoit entrance 4. Radicals- Regal on the mic- he is funny 5.
