Vamp made special mention of his comments regarding Terry Taylor. "Terry has always been one of my biggest supporters and I'm sorry for the things that I said about him. I owe everything to Terry Taylor. I was wrong to say the things I said." Other news to come out of the conversation is that Vampiro and his agent, Bob Barnett, have parted ways. Vampiro is still under doctors care for injuries sustained at Halloween Havoc and the following Nitro. He is scheduled for a checkup next month. (LWN) ______________________________________________________________________ [News from the WWF] **Hillbilly Jim will be hosting this Thursday's Smackdown party at WWF NY. **Chris Chetti has been telling people that he will receive a WWF tryout match at this Tuesday's Smackdown taping. **Vince McMahon might be returning to WWF TV full-time very soon. Vince always said that when the ratings ever dipped and he wasn't on TV at the time, he would like to come back. The ratings haven't exactly dipped as of late, but they haven't been that strong either, although that is probably because of the change to TNN. After Thursday night's happenings where Stone Cold Steve Austin set up Vince to get attacked by Triple H, a return is even possible tonight on RAW. **With hosting Heat, interviewing on Smackdown and doing color commentary at Rebellion, look for Tazz to do some more interviewing on WWF TV in the future. However, this does not mean his wrestling career will take a back seat; the WWF is just trying to combine both his wrestling and interviewing skills. **The WWF will air a series of superstar biographies on the BET Network in an effort to see what the interest is in the WWF product among the african american population. The first show featured The Rock and began airing over the Thanksgiving weekend. The door was opened to BET last month when the CBS-Viacom corporation bought the network. **Perry Saturn updated his commentary on his official site PerrySaturn.com. Saturn, a former World Championship Wrestling employee, now works in the World Wrestling Federation and speaks his mind about different topics in this part of his website. He will be playing the 'Oklahoma' character, and will be taunting the Nebraska Cornhuskers fans (Nitro is in Nebraska) about the Oklahoma Sooners being first on the NCAA table. WCW thought last week's first comedy segment with Jeff Jarrett smashing the 'President' with a guitar went over well, which is why this coming week's first segment was designed. **Expect Ric Flair to announce this week on WCW TV that Goldberg vs. Lex Luger at Starrcade will become a No-Holds Barred match. Julio Dinero - Doring & Roadkill d. The FBI to become new ECW Tag Champs - CW Anderson d. Tommy Dreamer - Rhino d. Spike Dudley to defend his TV title - Tajiri & Whipwreck d. Justin Credible & Jerry Lynn to defend his world title **ECW owner Paul Heyman waited until after the "Massacre on 34th Street" to give his traditional morale boosting speech to the troops. **He stated that the next PPV would take place right back at the Hammerstein Ballroom, where tonight's show was held, because he wants to make New York his new base for ECW. **The wrestler's moods really improved when everyone received two weeks worth of pay, leaving them only five weeks behind at this point. **Heyman also told everyone in the company that he'd release anyone from their contract if that's what they want. **The two dark matches of the night were taped for ECW TV. The first one determined who would referee the PPV main event with H.C. Loc beating Danny Daniels. In the second match, New Jack beat Angel of the Baldies. (Cred: The LAW) __________________ [In other news...] **In the latest soap opera of what has become Scott Hall's life, 1wrestling.com reports Hall was arrested earlier this weekend after kicking a taxi cab driver's door. Hall wanted to pay cab fare with a credit card and the driver refused. He was charged with a misdemeanor offense.
