An extreme Playboy interview by Kevin Cook. ______________________________________________________________________ [News from the WWF] **Here is the latest rundown of the card for the WWF UK only PPV, Rebellion, which takes place on 12/2 in Sheffield at the Sheffield Arena: - Fatal Four Way for the WWF Title: Stone Cold Steve Austin vs The Rock vs Rikishi vs Kurt Angle. - The Undertaker vs Chris Benoit. - Kane vs Chris Jericho. - WWF Tag Team Championship: Bull Buchanan and The Goodfather defend against The Hardy Boyz. - Women's Championship Match: Ivory defends against Lita. - European Title Match: William Regal defends against Crash Holly. - Chyna and Billy Gunn vs Eddie Guerrero and Dean Malenko. - Hardcore Championship Match: Steve Blackman defends against Perry Saturn. - Three Team Elimination Table Match: The Dudley Boyz vs T & A vs Edge and Christian. - Bradshaw vs Val Venis. (Cred: 1Wrestling) _______________ [News from WCW] **1wrestling.com is reporting that World Championship Wrestling has lowered the base salaries of many of its workers and is putting more emphasis on how many events they work. Apparently many of the boys are being paid a flat rate for every house show they do. Some talent are also upset because they were told that even though Nitro and Thunder would both take place on the same night with one being live and one taped, that the boys would be paid for two separate events. However, this does not appear to be the case. Brad Siegel is reportedly in his WCW office today, which has become a rarity since he has taken over the company. **WCW Thunder on TBS did a 2.4 rating off identical hours of 2.4 which is a positive increase over last week's 1.9 rating. **WCW is planning an upcoming angle in which Stevie Ray returns to WCW as an announcer, causing an angry fit by Scott Steiner, who thought he had retired Stevie from every aspect of the wrestling business. **Norman Smiley is apparently upset with WCW bookers for not allowing him to wrestle at an event in England, which his family attended. **Goldberg will face Lex Luger at Starrcade because WCW did not want to make his winning streak look worthless, which giving him a title match against Scott Steiner would have done. **An internet story that Dave Penzer was suspended for a week because he set off a smoke bomb on a plane earlier this year is not entirely true. Penzer was suspended for a week, but did not set off a smoke bomb. There was a disturbance on a Delta flight a few months ago and Penzer and others involved were suspended this week. However, she will continue to work for the company on a semi-regular basis. **Sunday's ECW "Massacre on 34th Street" PPV has been sold out for over a month now but when the production crew was at the building today setting up for the PPV, they managed to free up 30 more seats for Sunday's show. If you are interested in getting them, they go on sale at 5 p.m. today. My hunch is they won't last too long. Also, at Sunday's PPV, tickets will go on sale for the 12/15 return of the Dudleys, for one night only, to ECW. The people at the PPV will get first chance to get those seats, although you don't have to be going to the PPV if you want to just come and buy tickets for the 15th. (Cred: 1Wrestling) __________________ [In other news...] **The home video version of wrestling documentary Beyond the Mat will be released on 12/4 and will cost $19.95 US. This version will contain an extra 35 minutes of footage that has never aired before, even on the DVD. Most of the new material takes place backstage with people like Chyna, Mick Foley, Taz, Tommy Dreamer and Paul Heyman. And her current project, "10th Muse," a super-hero comic book saga, has taken up the challenge and followed along the same path as her stiletto heels. According to Diamond Dialogue's "Previews November Top 100" list, the first issue of "10th Muse" ranked No. 6 in overall sales. Hey what better screw Job then a real life one? Hall got busted big time for DUI this week, and might have once again ruined his chances of getting back in the ring full time. I doubt WCW will ever take him back now, and I don't think the WWF is too interested after this, and well ECW is in financial trouble, so Hall might really be screwed!
