The police report for the accident stated that witnesses allege that Hall was driving on the wrong side of the road, going westbound in the eastbound lane on Red Bug Lake Road in Seminole County. There was a three car accident and Hall was taken to Winterpark Hospital. Police observed two open and one unopened beer bottles in Hall's car and then went to the hospital to question Hall. Once at the hospital, police said in the police report that they smelled "an odor of an alcoholic beverage" in Hall's breath. Police say that Hall told them that he didn't remember how the accident happened. After he was released by the doctor at the hospital, police performed a sobriety field test, which Hall agreed to. The police asked Hall if he had been drinking and he said no, according to the police report. After failing the field tests, Hall was arrested for Driving Under the Influence. Hall was given two breathalyzer tests, three and a half hours after the accident, and scored a 0.27 and 0.26. That is more than three times Florida's legal limit of 0.08. Police asked for a urine sample, but Hall declined to give them a sample. A witness told police that Hall was depressed about personal matters and had been up drinking all night before the accident. Sadly, this is another chapter in the 42 year-old Hall's recent bouts with his personal demons. How this affect Hall's standing in the wrestling business is yet to be determined. Austin then celebrates with a lot of beer and fans cheer him on. Lots of people got in fights might I add. **Here are a couple of the tentative matches for the WWF Armageddon PPV on 12/10 in Birmingham, AL: - Kurt Angle, Steve Austin, Rikishi, Triple H, The Rock and Undertaker in a Hell in the Cell style match where the first pinfall wins the WWF title. - Billy Gunn vs. Chris Benoit for IC title. **There is a rumour floating around that Governor of Minnesota Jesse "The Body" Ventura will be at the WWF Smackdown! tapings on 11/28 because the show takes place at the Minneapolis Target Center. Ventura's appearance would somehow center around his recent hiring as a colour commentator for Vince McMahon's new football league the XFL. **Aint-it-cool-news.com, an insider movie website, is reporting that they are hearing rumors that WWF wrestler Chyna may be tabbed to play the role of a female Terminator in Terminator 3, which begins filming next April. http://www.aint-it-cool-news.com/display.cgi?id=7563 (Cred: LWN, The Law) _______________ [News from WCW] **Dave Scherer reports WCW will terminate Torrie Wilson's contract, effective December 5. Torrie was signed to a contract that renewed every 90 days. She made $250,000 a year, which is too much given the budget cuts WCW has. WCW may be willing to negotiate a per-night deal, but Wilson has reportedly been less than open to that thus far. An injury angle was shot at last night's Thunder taping to explain her absence. **Booker T suffered a cracked sternum Sunday night at Mayhem after taking Scott Steiner's "full nelson bomb." It is likely that Booker will miss Starrcade although there was talk of him being written out anyway for some personal time off. **Here is a tentative line-up for the WCW Starrcade PPV that takes place on 12/17 in Washington, DC: - Scott Steiner vs. Sid Vicious for WCW title. - Bill Goldberg vs. Lex Luger. - Page & Nash vs. Stasiak & Palumbo vs. Kronik for the tag team titles. - Mike Awesome vs. Bam Bam Bigelow. - Konnan vs. Jeff Jarrett. - Cat vs. Lance Storm. - General Rection defends the US Title against Shane Douglas. **1wrestling.com is reporting that the angle between World Championship Wrestling and Battledome is over. The men of Battledome were supposed to be on Nitro last night but due to a disagreement with both parties, this never happened. Apparently, the idea was for both Battledome and WCW to get exposure on each other's shows, but each group was supposed to pay their own flights in order to appear on the respective shows. It seems that BattleDome asked WCW to pick up the travel tab for their guys to appear on Nitro last night, but WCW refused and that killed the angle for now. (Cred: LWN, The Law) _______________ [News from ECW] **Dave Meltzer reports that with the exception of Yoshihiro Tajiri, Super Crazy, Rhino, Justin Credible and Steve Corino, all other ECW workers have permission to seek employment elsewhere. Heyman has told Jim Ross and the WWF that they can negotiate with anyone not on the above list. **ECW's Sinister Minister has posted an interesting commentary on the ECW website discussing the backlash from fans concerning ECW using the Minister's real life injury as part of an angle. The Minister finds the whole thing quite funny and he talks about how past real life injuries in wrestling have become angles.
