REASONS BEHIND A TRADE REQUEST
Player demands to be Traded, player is unhappy and has little or no ice time.
Demands a Trade, to a specific location. (5 Teams will be drawn and those teams will be the only ones the player will opt to play for)
Demands a Trade. (To a different country)
The coach goes, or he goes. Demands a Trade if the coach isn't fired.
Team dislikes him. Won't show up for practise or even discuss potential contract. Low self-esteem.
Player dislikes the Team and organization. Player decides to stay home until he's been traded.
Player would like a favor from the organization. To be moved to a cup contender for his final run.
Player feels he is too good for the team. He's playing well but the team is'nt performing to a high level therefore demanding to a trade.
Player is unhappy with the teams standing in the league.. He feels he has more chance at winning with a more succesful side.
Player feels he can get a better contract elsewhere.
Player feels he has achieved all he can on his club, would like to find a new challenge.
Player's family have failed to settle in the city in which his new club plays.
The player or his family have failed to adapt to the climate of the city in which his new club plays.
Player feels he needs to leave to further his career and better himself as a player.
The player feels that his team-mates are preventing him from putting up the numbers he feels he is capable of, therefore requesting to be traded.
Player feels he needs more time to develop. Demands to be sent on the farm to get quality ice time and to improve skills.
Player is looking to play in a better hockey market where the organization is more active.
Player must move due to medical reasons.
Player must move because the GM is molesting him. Applies to players on the Kings and Avs roster.
Player is wanted on three counts of "sex with a minor" in current state/province. He must book it to another team and lay low.
Player is in love with Scott Hoskins and Andy Murray, Wants to play for Islanders...NOW!
Player is being stalked by a crazy obsessive girlfriend who was supposed to be a one night stand.
Player is sick of being bood by the fans, tired of losing, needs a change, low self-esteem. Will not come back for training camp next season.
The commissioner will be the one tracking every team in the league and determinating the reasons why a player should or would demand a trade. This new feature is not to screw up the team or gm's. This is to bring a bit of reality to the league and to the players. This is also to help disperse the talent through out the NAHL.
I already said that no team here would have an all-star roster. Im not here to cheat the gm's, this thing is to prevent teams of having veterans 77ov and over on a 3rd or 4th line. In real life, no player would accept this. Remember Pierre Turgeon in Montreal back in 97/98? This is not EA SPORTS hockey league!
I will not be cheating the league or gm's with this. When a player will be named to be requesting a trade, the reasons will be fair and nothing will be used to destroy a club but to help the players. This is sort of NAHLPA, lol.
Remember the commish will be selecting the logical reasons for the players. The commish knows whats burning inside the players and what they're feeling. The commissioner... in a way... is God !!
