Current academic programmes:

                                                    BCLT offers four years bachelor degrees in three courses namely 1:-B.Sc.technology in leather ,2:-B.Sc.technology in leather product , 3:-B.Sc.technology in footwear  under the university of Dhaka.

 

 Location and physical construction:

                                                     Bangladesh college of leather technology is located at 44-50,Hfzaribagh (near the BDR gate no.5)in the heart of Dhaka, surrounding by the leather manufacturing units. Travel can be made by local transports, bike ,car etc.

Spread over around 13.5 acres of land the college has four academic and administrative buildings including well equipped finishing department for leather processing, footwear and leather products making units, auditorium, lecture theater ,enough class rooms, world standard laboratories, computer lab, canteen, office of student union, library. New academic building and wet blue section are under construction.

 

Faculty members & officials:

                                               The faculty consists of distinguished scholars with proved teaching & recherché excellence. The number of teaching staffs are 30,four of them having doctorate degrees / post doctoral experience from abroad , 9 are studying in ENGLAND and INDIA for PhD and postgraduate degrees.The number of non teaching stuff is 110.
