| March 23, 2005 Well I havent touched this site in almost 2 months so I figured it was time to and what better time than the 3 year anniversary of me starting the site. For those of you that dont know, the site was started March 20, 2002, my senior year, mainly to deal with rumors that had been going around and to get out the feelings that I were keeping inside of me. Both had to do with a girl who I deeply liked and later would become my best friend named Nicole, but lately weve lost touch and, sadly I really dont talk to her anymore. If you go way back when and read those first couple updates youll notice a few things. One is that they were very short as I just wrote out feelings like I do in my LiveJournal now and would update once every couple weeks. Two is that I was a lot more negative than I am now. I would say the turning point in all of that would be the incidents that happened late that summer that led me to writing my novel update that was a whopping 36 pages long. Yea, holy shit is right. Now while I admit that maybe Im still a bit negative some of the time (and I mean who isnt besides strict Mormons and hippies) I usually try and look at the positive side of things or things coming up that will be positive. Like right now for instance things have been going grand but I always look forward to my soccer games and practices and also long-term I look forward to the Jimmy Eat World/Taking Back Sunday concert on Friday May 13th (I still got 5 tickets if you want one - $32) and even past that to the great summer that will be including Warped Tour, camping with all the guys and, of course, another big ass party at my house. So in closing I just want to say thank you for being one of the 1000s of hits my site has had and thank you for caring. Basically I came up with this cheesy ass metaphor that I like so Im going to use it. Theres always been that expression that when life throws you a lemon to make lemonade. Well Im not a big fan of lemonade (give me a Lemon-Lime Gatorade instead) but I still make lemonade by updating the site and dispensing it to all of you. So thank you for enjoying my lemonade (even if sometimes it may be a bit bitter). See you soon for a site update. Until Further Notice, Adam My Reply |
