My Heart Remains
This poem was written bout the loss of that one whom you care about. No names of course :-). Written on September 1, 2004.
I had to lose everything to find my way
Had to go blind to see the light of day
Now I see it and it's oh so crystal clear
That without you I'm going absolutley nowhere
For sleep escapes me when you are gone
I just lie there, comparing my life to sad sonds
I look at the clcok and moves so slow
Taunting me, reminding me of what I already know
That's if you leave my heart does too
For my heart will always remain with you
