| What does the word love mean A word that is hard to comprehend for a teen A word that has been drivin into the ground A word that is the most powerful around Each of us has our own definition of love Most of the world uses the symbol of a dove Other parts use the symbol of a heart The organ that lost love makes fall apart This word carries so much power That it makes even the strongest man cower It�s a word I�m going to try to define right now If only I can figure out how When you�re in love you�ll do various things If anybody messes with her you�ll take a swing You�ll tell your obnoxious friends to cool it You�ll even step in front of her to take a bullet You�ll spend your money like it grows on trees Even though you can barely afford anything that�s not free When she ask, you�ll go to her house And go shopping with her to find yet another new blouse To me it also means that you would give up everything you had And make all your friends mad Just to make her feel like a queen Even if it means you have to live a little lean When you first find out you�re in love with her You�ll deny it until you can find a cure You�ll eventually have to give in to the fact That you�re not fooling anyone with your act If you get her and you know she�s the one It�ll feel like it�s the lottery you just won In fact it�ll be like you have just struck oil And you�ll rival even your dog when it comes to being loyal You�ll get a second job as a doorman You might even convert and become Mormon Her mistakes you�ll forgive Her positives will give you reasons to live Love is a confusing thing And when it goes right, it makes you feel like a king In the end love is what makes the world go round And also makes some people�s lives go down But whatever it is, I know I�m in it For the fact that I admit it, I would like some credit For we all know that only fools fall in love And I�ve proved it by writing what I�ve written above |
