Hello! My name is Joshua Timmons and I am an American English teacher in Nagoya. I have been teaching English for 4 years and have a CELTA certificate from Cambridge University. I have taught English in the Czech Republic, Korea, and have 3 years experience teaching here in Japan. My undergraduate degree is in Philosophy from Indiana University, with a minor in Telecommunications. I have experience teaching Business English, Music Lyrics, Movie/TV English, Current Events, TOEIC, TOEFL and have developed special programs for individual students' needs using many different types of lessons and a variety of styles. In my free time, I enjoy movies, music, travelling, reading, writing, hiking, karaoke, dancing, and photography. My goal is to meet the individual needs of students to improve their English ability, but also have fun at the same time!
