The world is Geos, the time is 538 ADB (Anno Doma Bel), five hundred thirty-eight years after the Great War, the war between the Keedrows and the humans. The Keedrows have separated themselves from human society, choosing to dwell in village-like settings with enough people to make up a city.

Within the Keedrow society, two rival families have risen to power: the Aurelius and Mirar Aylus. The former, an auburn-haired, hot-headed Aylu (or clan) of male chauvinists, known for producing handsome and powerful Warriors, and just as and handsome and powerful politicians, a clan that may have produced the Keedrow equivalent of Hercules—many times over. The latter, a dark-haired green- or golden- eyed Aylu with Warrior-like physical characteristics, known for producing beautiful, physically strong, and iron-willed females— as well as canny politicians; it is an Aylu that may have spawned the theory of Amazons.

It has been fifty seven years since the last Keedrow-Human "disagreement", which was Human War II, a war involving almost every human country, due to the reign of Hitler, and his slaughtering of Jews and Keedrows.

Keedrows live in fear of another nuclear weapon, while humans live in fear of the Keedrow energy weapons, which can turn flesh and bone to nothingness.

The President has called for strange measures: any human city that has a Keedrow counterpart is to have, instead of a mayor, a Grand Overseer. It is a position for life, and one may not step down. It’s a pity, too. James Winchester, the current Grande Overseer of Westchester, New York is anti-Keedrow, having once called them "furry freaks" on national television. Let it be noted that he did not apologize for this statement, and neither did he retract it. In fact, he repeatedly called them "furry freaks". His daughter, Leah Winchester, is obsessed with them, being Pro-Keedrow.

But for their part, most Keedrows seem pretty content to ignore the humans, and seem more interested in ending the wars in their galaxy. However, now the wars have gotten so frequent, the Queen no longer sends out her soldiers. Instead, she sends out the Mreetsai, the Warriors.

The select group has grown, and training is intense. Now, Warriors are needed to prevent raids and attacks. Every Keedrow knows it’s only a matter of time before Geos is attacked.

The ancient Weapons of the Warriors in the Great War, those Weapons which had lain forgotten and left to rust, were picked up and wielded, and their names honored.

The Arc, a masterpiece of Keedrow technology, a huge battle ax with a round blade and the ability to cut through anything.

The Sword, a simple tool but infinitely reliable.

The Yuna, a crescent shaped blade with no hilt or handle, designed for both throwing and slashing, but required infinite patience and years of training.

The Filan, the Blood Song, a woman’s blade, shaped vaguely like a crutch and carried on the shoulder, used for vicious slashing attacks.

The Lash, a whip made of light, used for both short and long range torture, and even used in battle.

The Ides, a long, thin dagger used with a Filan.

These things and more did the Warriors make again, or wield anew.

Peter Conneloy- Cefo Aylu Mirar et Aurelius: he’s twelve when the story starts. A very steady, outgoing guy, Peter-Cefo was quite shocked when his mother explained that he’s Half-Keedrow. His mother having been adopted into the Mirar Aylu, he is a special case.

Tomlin O' Morgain Mac An Bors: Also a very steady guy, Tom is the son of the most influential Keedrow second to the Queen, the Warrior Commander K'val O' Morgain Mac An Bors. He's a nice kid, a little slow when it comes to things not immediately pertinent, but a good guy to have in your corner, and works well in a tight spot. In love with Cieli.

Cielo Aylu Mirar: A Mirar and Peter-Cefo's cousin, Cielo is a hot-headed young girl with beautiful green eyes and a crush on Tom. Her weapon is the Filan, but she's good with Soreceress Rings or her fists. Despite her impatient nature, Cielo shows signs of being an excellent Warrior.

And that's it for now. There are other main characters, but these are the "MAIN main characters".
