Amancio Joachim Maria García-Carrión (called "Carrion" by most people) is effectively owned by a crime-lordling who also owns a nightclub, a sportsclub, and some real estate inhabited by very unhappy tenants.
Amancio is a short but very stocky guy, with sleek, black hair, dark eyes that bulge a little. His face bears the evidence of having been through the school-of-hard-knocks, with flat nose and tears in his ears. He tends to dress smart though (his occupation demands it). He arrived in the US almost a decade ago, as an illegal Mexican immigrant. His dream was that he might become a famous boxing champion. (having been the "Young Promise of Aguascalientes" once- until his sponsor dunked him for a bloke who boxed worse but looked better).

After nine years, Carrion is still, half-heartedly, trying to become a real pro, but so far he has not really cut it. He has, however, made a little money getting his head bashed in against opponents that needed another "KO" on their record- which means that he has thrown quite a lot of matches so far. That really, really chafed, at first, but it became easier over time, and now he has all but ceased to care... the matches really don't feel all that real anymore anyway- but then, few things do, lately.
Sometimes he serves as a bouncer in a nightclub. And recently he was volunteered to join a little mission to "pacify" a couple of complaining tenants... despite not feeling all that real either, roughing up and intimidating people with simple valid complaints was a thoroughly sickening experience to Carrion.

And it was also the last straw, really. Carrion would really, really like to get out of his current employment as soon as possible... Which appears to be rather complicated, though- not in the least because he is still lacking a greencard, and there is really nothing for him anymore back "home".

But well... to Amancio, a lot of things seem to be complicated lately, to be honest. Probably because he has been knocked silly one or two times too many. And maybe because the world itself does not really seem to "fit" anymore. And what's with all the dejá vu's lately?!
