| Main kid: Hey NigeL, your from California. NigeL: Yeah Main Kid: Oh so youre a prune picker. Narrator: Ok hold up the train. A prune picker??? I still dont understand this. Well anyway, I had to make it worse by doing what at the moment I didnt know what was a stupid thing to do. Prove the bully wrong. NigeL: You cant pick prunes. Prunes are dried plums, so in fact you cant pick a prune unless it has already dehydrated on the tree. Narrator: Yeah I am still astonished it came out of my mouth too. Main kid: What did you say?? If I say youre a prune picker, youre a prune picker. (Main kid punches NigeL in the face. Rest of the kids start to hit NigeL and push him around) Narrator: Yep this was my life. It happened every recess until about 5th grade. Not much fun but I was a tough ass and I stuck through it. (clips of fights between NigeL and the group) I knew going to the teacher was basically pointless because it would just make the beatings worse. I fought back when I could, but taking on that many kids was useless. So I made it through the grade until I finally couldnt take it anymore and started striking out when I could. I found out that the main kinds name was K.C. and he was just your average bully, would call you his little buddy as he rubbed your face in your desk. Finally I just lashed out and it changed a large prospective of the pie. (K.C. walks behind NigeLs desk on his way to sharpen his pencil. Grabs NigeLs neck and squeezes) K.C.: How you doing NigeL?? (NigeL whips around and slugs K.C. grabs his throat and slams him to the desk and raises his fist to punch K.C. in the face. Teacher looks up from chalk board and screams) Female Teacher: Boys!!! What do you think your doing?? (NigeL lets go of K.C. and sits back down. K.C. runs back to seat. Teacher smiles at NigeL) Narrator: I loved this teacher. Mrs. Rollins, I think her name was. She basically could see what was going on and understood what was happening. All she did was smile at me. She could see I was gonna just kick the living shit out of this kid for all the torture that he inflicted on me and all she did was smile. She was one of the main reasons I actually made it through 5th grade. (shows scenes of 5th grade, NigeL working at school work, on computers, etc.) Narrator: She always gave me little tasks to do. Small things for her and she gave me special privileges when I got them done. I used the computers a lot when I was in her class especially during recess, I was the only kid that was able to do that. (small laugh) I got a lot done and my being from California stared to wear off. A lot of stuff changed too. I started to make a few friends and stared sparing a little of my time from the computers to play football or kickball with other kids. (show scenes of NigeL playing kickball and football split with scenes of him of computer) Narrator: I made it through 5th grade nicely and moved upp with the bigger kids into 6th. Yippee 6th. This is basically the major turning point in mostly all of it It is what ended up leading to future occurrences, behaviors, and the such. |
