And this was where I used to work for a goodly time till they paid me a huge sum of money to let them move their manufacturing plant to Malaysia where its cheaper to operate. No you didn't hear me, they paid me a big chunk of money to leave. Yeah that's right. A kick ass 5 year investment if I do say so myself. Anyway, I met some great peops. Made a best friend, and lost one : ( I made some normal just all around good friends and met some people I didn't particularly like, but was thankful to have learned from them anyway. All in all a great time and a worthwhile venture. So here to our left is the 1X line how it used to be. I don't have a clue what it looks like now. I am sure it is all smooshed together with several other products in a weird show of "streamlining". Oh well, upper management never was very aware of the production floor. |

My stay on the 1X line at (I guess) an un-named company that exists in an un-named place. |
| Here we have Carly and Tim chit chatting during the major slow period after the "terrorists" bombed the world trade center. Well it was a year later before we really felt the crunch, but here they are doing what we all did when there was nothing to do. Chit chatting. Its ok upper management condoned it by not telling us not to hehe. Well I guess they did, but we ignored them and they let us. I suppose that that was one of the things that made it such a great place to work (if that's what you're into). If I were to have to choose to work in a manufacturing situation again, I wouldn't work there. Not because it was a sucky job or anything like that, but because I have already "ben der, dun dat". |

This is Diana. I had the pleasure of working with her pretty much my entire stay at "The Un-named Company". Hell, she trained me to do my original job there. Last I hear she was buying a house in Sacramento near her daughter (about time). She always had all these other jobs she would come up with that were not only self employment / empowerment occupations, but things she was genuinely interested in doing. But could I ever get her to leave her comfy but unhappy existence at "The Un-named Company"? No way. I'm glad they finally booter her out of there, that way she can get on with her life the way she should. |

Last but not least, Nicole in the pink and Hien in the white. They were fun to work with and always tolerated my jokes and such as most of the people at "The Un-named Company" usually did. But they went a step further to actually communicate. That was the difference with the 1X line that the majority of the factory (in my opinion) was lacking. Good'ol fashioned communication. A fantastic sense of humor and a generally happy disposition didn't hurt either. It was the people like them that made the journey special. |

| Well folks that about sums up my entire experience at "The Un-named Company". I hope you get to hang with the kind of people that I got to hang with for all that time. You couldn't really hope to work with a better bunch then all the great crew I had the pleasure to interact with on so many different levels. They have been part of my life that has helped shape who I am today, and for that I will be thankful as long as is possible in this Universe. You all will always be my friends. |
