They are confused. After the womens liberation from the home, humanity was thrown into a chaotic state of confusion brought on by the fact that the number of jobs stayed the same and the workforce doubled. Also, there was the problem with deciding who was going to care for the children and the home from now on. Before there were cut and dry responsibilities that the man and the woman were aware of and they both worked together to achieve success. Now everyone is trying to achieve their own goals and no one is actually working with anyone else to strive for basic family success. With the roles of man and woman skewed in such a way, everyone is sort of drifting in a state of perpetual panic causing a loss of family values, economic stability, and national progress toward successful global relations. Religion has been currupted, government taken over by corporate dictators, and love explained away by psycologists as a chemical reaction that has no part in modern society. Women have taken on the role of the dominating male, but do not know how to play the dominant. Whereas men have been driven to be more complacent to accomodate the more aggressive behavior of the women. All of this ends in confusion over who should be chasing whom, and many wander in lonliness unaware that human interaction is crumbling to a state of vague affiliations and shallow attachments. I have found the cure is to be yourself, pursue your interests, enjoy your life, smile often, help everybody you can, and never regret. If humanity survives just another 20 years there shall be a dawning of a golden age the likes of which few civilizations ever get to experience. Hang in there.
