| The H&R Block Income Tax Course (Basic Building Block) is a general education course designed to teach individuals about preparing taxes and the IRS tax code in general. It provides a basic overview of the topics that most tax payers might encounter. Below are tips that have helped our students: Ask Questions. I am dedicated to helping you succeed. Whenever something isn't clear during class, speak up and don't hesitate to ask questions. It's likely that other classmates have the same questions in mind. You can call my pager or email me. I will answer your questions promptly. Get Help! Our students often exchange phone numbers and e-mail addresses so they can call on each other outside of class for help. And you got the student list. (Please do not SPAM others!!!) I am available for questions prior to the class and after the class. And please feel free to call the H&R Block district office, where you can talk to a tax professional during business hours if you've administrative issues (payment, other class locations, etc.) Break Up Study Sessions. Several short study sessions tend to work better than one long one. Students have been most successful when they keep up with lessons by completing each homework assignment before class. You may want to start working on assignments soon after class if you can. That way you can work at your own pace without feeling rushed. I am committed to your success. Please let us know if there's any way we can make your experience more rewarding. |
