B Grade Match Report wk 4 (9/10/04)
RSL(BLUE)vs.Storm LOST 16-5
What a game ! If only we could have called �time and game� at the end of the 4th innings when we were leading 5-4. Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end and the opposition got the better of us in the last innings, scoring 12 runs. Despite the loss, all of the girls played extremely well. Out pitcher/catcher combinations of Lauren & Lizzie and Hannah & Courtney worked very nicely and kept Storm on their toes. When they did get hits away our fielders were there to take them. �Classic Catches� were made by Lauren, Rebecca, Georgia and Nadine (2). Our batting was led by excellent examples from Ciara and Amber. This team is really starting to come together and once they learn to finish what they start, they�ll be formidable.
