RSL (BLUE) V. REDBACKS (P) LOST 15-1
Today we welcomed a new player, Janet, to our team and whilst it wasn�t our best game, it was certainly our most entertaining. The girls all tried hard to keep �abreast� of the situation, especially Janet, who felt a little �let down�, but that had nothing to do with the game. She made an impressive start by showing the team her excellent multi-tasking skills. How many softball players do you know that can juggle batting, fielding and breast-feeding a baby all in one game ? What a woman !!!
Quotes for the day were:- (not necessarily in order of importance)
� Go...Nadz� (said by numerous spectators when Nadine gets up to bat.)
� Okay girls, three up, three down,�.the baby needs feeding !� (said by Dave in very obvious circumstances) AND
� If that ball goes over the fence one more time, I�m going home !� (also said by Dave�.we played on Diamond 5)
In conclusion, this game typifies the belief that you do not need to win to have fun !
