My Bio
Daughter of M. Nageswara Rao, vina player.
Graduated with M.A. in Sociology at Madras University and M.A. in Musicology at San Diego State University. Received Ph.D. in Ethnomusicology at Wesleyan University.
Trained by my father in Karnatak vina and T. Viswanathan in Karnatak vocal music.
Currently teaching vina and vocal music and conducting research in Telugu padams.
