Introduction

في اللغة العربية الوزن "فََعلَ" يدل على الماضي لكنه في الإنكليزية قد يكون ماضي بسيط أو ماضي تام أو مضارع تام. فمثلا عندما نسمع:

1-I did not send her an e-mail yesterday.

2-I have never sent her an e-mail. 

فكل واحدة لها معنى وتنقل فكرة مختلفة للمستمع أو القارئ. ولذلك سنتعرف في هذه الرحلة على استخدام (المضارع التام)

Well, it is time for you to explore the Web and know how we use this tense.

 Task

Your main task is to carefully create a true statement on THE PRESENT PERFECT Tense. When you have completed this Webquest, you will learn a lot about how it is used not only inside your school but also in the real world.

The Process

You will work with your group members to explore the Internet and find out how THE PRESENT PERFECT TENSE is

used. So get started and have a great time!

Conclusion

When students have finished this trip, it is expected that they can do Exercises 3 and 4, 7, 9 on pages 16-17 in Students’ Book , and Exercises 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 on pages 12-13 in Activity Book.

This webquest is intended for extending students’ thinking beyond the book, and for them to use different resources including the Internet to find lots of examples about how this tense is used not only inside their school or classroom but also in everyday life.

وفي نهاية هذا الدرس تكون لدى الطالبة معرفة بمدى

أهمية هذا الزمن في الحياة العملية وليس فقط داخل المنهاج وخاصة أن اسم هذا الزمن ليس موجودا في اللغة العربية وأن الكثير ممن يتعلمون اللغة الإنكليزية لا يجيدون استخدامه ويستبدلونه بالماضي البسيط الذي لا ينقل الفكرة المرجوة .

*= time adverbial (after the “S” or the “R”)

Group 4

Since: + point in time (when the activity began.)

        E.g. 1990-March-last week-three o’clock

       I have not seen her since her illness.

      We have not seen each other since 1997.

·       Here we can use a sentence after since (Since + S+ simple past +R).

      We have not seen each other since we were at primary school.

For: + the period of time (which the activity has taken.)

                                                             e.g. -ten years-three hours-ages

      We have not seen each other for ten years.

       I have lived in this village for four years.

Example:
