* Nader played a very good game with Goldi against Al Ahly (0-1), Zamalek (1-2) and Ismaily (0-1). Three times one could easily say : Nader prevented a high score with incredible reflexes. Or as the website of Ismaily puts it: "Nader El Sayed was able to save most of Ismailly's chances, showing that he does still possess the talent of an international goal keeper"!!!!
*(29 October 2001) NADER GOES TO THE EGYPTIAN TEAM Sporting GOLDI!!!
Nader will play the following 6 months for Goldi. The Egyptian team
offered a hugh sum of money to both Nader and Club Brugge to get his services.
After the End of the Egyptian season (May 2002) Nader returns to Brugge,
where he still has a contract until May 2003
** Information on Goldi:
Stadium : Fayoum Stadium
History
The Club changed its name from Maaden to Goldi in 2001
when Ahmed Bahgat bought the company and became the
Chairman of the club.
Maaden has showed for the first time in El Dawry in year
1999. This performance was due to coach Mohamed Salah
who led the team to El Dawry.
The relatively new team began when ex-Ahly greats: Rabi
Yassien and Badr Ragab took up coaching it continually
supporting its growth. As recent as three years ago, these
two coaches had to pay money to lure people to Shubra’s
Esco stadium to help cheer on the second division. Ragab
admits, it seemed that they faced the same problem as
Dina Farms in the search for fans. The, too, offered
money to the fans to come and cheer for the club. The
paid support boosted the team’s morale & they were soon
found standing tall in the First Division, fighting their way
into a promising new season. At this point ex-Zamalek
great, Mohamed Saleh, took over the team’s charge. Their
first season among heavy weights was remarkably were
played, leaving them 33 points, well deserved, and an 8th
position rank. The ability of both players & coaching stuff
stood out and showed itself. Who would have known that
this young foundling team would unexpectedly rise rapidly
to the First Division. (source: hazememam.com)
