A periodical publication of the battallion, "Ayalon 1", while the Battallion was located on the Northern border.

The brochure contains pictures and stories of the Battallion soldiers while in action during June, 1987 on the Northern border. Zeev Barel, a sergeant in the Battallion, and Ronit Iluz, the Education NCO (a young and very talented female soldier) were the editors. There are stories, jokes, pictures and media coverage about the battallion actions from that period.

This is a publication in memory of the befallen soldiers of the Artillery Basic Training unit I commanded beween 1990 and 1993. A few thousand soldiers were trained at basic soldiership training in the unit that was located in Samaria, a few miles east of the town of Nablus (Shkhem).
Being a training unit, these soldiers fell in other than combat activity. Still, they are dear to their parents and friends. This is a small homage in their honour.
