The path of terror

Hadera is located on a critical intersection, very close to the territories, and in the midlle of arab settlements, with a lot od Arab traffic in and around town. The town has suffered many terrorist attacks in the last Intifada and even much before.

"In Hadera, six people were killed in a suicide bombing in 1994 that was claimed by Hamas." This is how it started, here. In that attack, some of the soldiers from my unit were wounded, lucky for them.

On May 25, 2001, a car bomb exploded on a side street near the Hadera central bus station. Egged bus number 841 travelling from Tel Aviv to Kiryat Shmona was rammed by the terrorist's car on Maccabi Street near the city's central bus station, according to an Egged spokesperson.54 people were injured.
