Walkthrough



( Balamb Garden ) GF Shiva GF Quezacotl


After talking to Dr. Kadowaki and Quistis, Quistis will ask Squall to go with her to the Fire Cavern. First, return to Squalls desk and use the computer terminal. Viewing the Tutorial will get you your fisrt two Guardian Forces: Quezacotl and Shiva. Now leave the classroom and explore the halls of Balamb Garden. Youll meet a new friend, take her on a tour. Be sure to get the starter pack of cards from the man on the second floor near the elevator. Meet Seifer and his friends in the cafeteria. Pick up the rare Occult Fan magazine from the front end of the second library bookcase. When youve had enough to see, meet Quistis at the central gate and head to the Fire Cavern, northeast of Garden.


( Fire Cavern ) GF Ifrit


Select a time, 30 minutes should be more than plenty unless youre feeling lucky then select a shorter time. Hurry along the path to the center of the cave where youll find Ifrit. Summon Shiva and cast any Blizzard or Water spells to put his fires out. He shouldnt be too hard. If you have the "Boost" ability use it, press that button like theres no tomorrow. Youll get GF Ifrit and card when you beat him. Now head for the exit.


( ( Dollet Assault ) GF Siren


After the Fire Cavern, return to your dormitory in Balamb Garden and change into your military outfit. Meet Quistis and Zell in the front lobby. Seifer will be assigned as your squad leader. Proceed to the garage. Drive along the road to Balamb town. Enter the submarine and receive a briefing from Xu. After the FMV your mission starts.

Head towards the central square. When Seifer asks you to look around, attack the enemies hiding in the northeast. Talk to Seifer while your party waits, then continue up the mountain. Seifer leaves and Selphie joins your party. At the top of the tower youll fight Biggs and Wedge. Theyre weak, one good GF will have them crying for mercy. Elvoret will come down once you beat the duo. Make sure you draw GF Siren before you kill Elvoret, draw some double spells too. GF and doubled spells should pound him to the ground for good. Youll get the March issue of Weapons Monthly when you defeat Elvoret.

You have 30 minutes to return to the ship but the X-ATM092 aint gonna make that any easier. Now be a wuss and run as as fast as you can and dont try to show off cause you cant beat it. Weaken that pile of metal with lightning attacks, use Quezacotl if you get too scared but watch out cause the animation will take out some of the time. When the garbage truck falls to the ground, make sure you turn the other way and run like hell towards the beach and Quistis will save your sorry asses.


( ( Squall a Seed )

Back at Balamb town, Seifer and crew hot wires and steal the car and drive back to the Garden. Explore the Town, play some cards, talk to people, rest, eat, burp, whatever you want. When you get bored head back to the Garden. Meet with Cid, Quistis, and Xu in the lobby, then go right to meet Seifer. An announcement will have you go to the 2nd floor hallway. Talk to Chikenwuss and wait. After and brief ceremony blah blah blah, your now a Seed. Talk to Cid again to receive the Battle Meter. From this point on you can select the TEST option from the Tutorial menu. See the Secrets section for the test answers (click here). Change into your Seed uniform by examining the bed, then talk to Selphie and head to the dance. After a great FMV, Quistis meets you on the balcony and asks you to meet her at the entrance to the Training Center. Change back into your regular outfit and go meet Quistis.


( Meeting with Quistis )


Meet Quistis at the Training Center entrance and head towards the back room (near the save point) After she talks blah blah blah, return to the entrance. Its the girl Squall saw at the infirmary and the monster Granaldo, whos had too much of the party and out of control. Draw some Protect and Shell spells and give him a good beating with your GF. All too easy huh? Head back to your room and get some good night sleep, its been along day and alot of crap has happened. Rise and shine, pick up the April issue of Weapons Monthly from your bedside table and head to the main gate.


( ( Cho Cho Train ) GF Diablos


Talk to Cid to learn about your mission. Talk to Cid again to receive the Magical Lamp, no theres no genie, using this item will give a ring to Diablos in the 3rd dimension and wake him up. He will get mad and pick a fight with you. Make sure you save your game first. Defeat Diablos and he will join you. If you want, go to the library with Zell in your party and talk to the pony-tailed girl in front on the bookcase, she has a crush on Zell, hehehe. Stop by and visit her throughout the game. Anyways, head to the train depot in Balamb town, you can find an issue of Timber Maniacs near the train signal and another in the Hotel in the guest room. Buy a ticket and get on board. Once the train starts moving, enter the cabin and talk to Zell. Receive Pet Pals Vol.1. Then suddenly you start to collapse.


( ( Laguna? )


Youll find yourself in control of the 3 stooges. Laguna is Squall, Ward as Zell, and Selphie as Kiros. Head northeast through the burning fields and board the waiting truck. When you reach Deling City, head right to the Galbadia Hotel. Head downstairs, be seated, and listen to Julia play the piano. Follow her to her room, and no your not getting lucky. Your party awakens and arrives at Timber Station.


( ( President's Train )


Once at Timber, a man asks you a question blah blah blah, then you answer "But the owls are still around" then head south and board the train. Head to the back room and meet with Rinoa. Head back to the front cabin for your briefing. Complicated? Nah? The game will automatically do most of the dirty work for you. Return to Rinoa's room to pick up Pet Pals Vol. 2 from the bed. Talk to Watts to start the action. Crawl with Rinoa across the car rooftops and watch those bugs that come slapping right into your face. Youll have to enter two sets of codes to deactivate the couplings. If the guards sees you it means you suck and have to start over and will lose one Seed Rank. Use L1 and R1 to look left and right and press up to jump to the roof when the guards approach. You have 5 minutes to input both sets of codes: 3 codes the first set and 5 codes the second set. Complete both sets successfully on the first try and your Seed Rank will go up one point. Once back in the front cabin, gear up for a fight, then talk to Rinoa to visit the president.
And you guessed it, its fake, He will attack and turn into his true form, Michael Jackson. Draw Berserk and Zombie from his second form. He is weak against fire and holy, Cure spells and potions do damage too. If you think he is a waste of time to fight, end him with a Phoenix Down. After the terrible and gruesome battle, yawn, form a new party and talk to Watts to leave the train.


( ( Timber Station )


Head north from the depot to reach the Pet Shop. Here you can buy Pet Pals Vol. 3 and 4. Head south past the hotel to the guards and defeat them. Return to the train station, this time heading east (in front of the Galbadia sign). Enter the Timber Maniacs building, be sure to search the documents in the first room, the second pile on the right has the Girl Next Door magazine. In the artists room you can find an issue of Timber Maniacs lying on the floor. After speaking with the TM crew, leave the building, head right one screen, and down the stairs to the pub.
Talk to the drunken man and tell him about the cards to have him move. Leave through the back alley and climb to the top of the station. Then all hell breaks loose. Head to the house next to the Timber Maniacs, talk to Quistis twice and leave with a party of three. Talk to the soldier (Watts), head right and talk to Zone. Continue right, cross the bridge, and head south to board the train. Talk to everyone on board (Zell last) and the train departs. Get off at the first stop, East Academy Station, and wander west into the forest valley (click here for map). And here we go again, you start going nuts....


( ( Who is this Laguna? )


Follow the path, fighting worthless soldiers, continue north not taking any turns until you reach a three way fork. Head down the middle path's ladder. When you come across the three hatches, examine the upper right corner of the middle hatch and tamper with it. Continue going right, then north, keep going north until you come across a detonator and a boulder. Examine the detonator and choose the first option, sending the boulder to block the path. Keep heading north along the staircase and continue north until you reach a save point. Go north through the pipe. After defeating the two waves of soldiers, the mission end with a cliff-diving contest.


( ( Irvine Kinneas )


Once your party awakens from the nightmare, leave the forest and head northwest to Galbadia Garden ( click here for map). Head to the central hall. Get haste from the hidden Draw Point under the yellow light then head north and take the stairs on the right. Once upstairs, enter the door on the south side of the hall. Talk to Zell, Quistis, Rinoa, and Selphie, in that order. Squall will exit cause he just cants stands it anymore. Return to the entrance of the Garden. Talk to Rinoa. Martine will arrive and introduce Irvine Kinneas. Go to the train station northwest of the Garden and take the train for Deling City. Once on board, talk to Selphie.


( ( Deling City )


Head up the escalator, then north to the first bus stop. When Bus 08 arrives, talk to the conductor to board. Get off at Caraway's Mansion. Talk to the nearly hidden guard on the right of the screen to learn about the Tomb of the Unknown King (click here for map) and to receive a map. Explore the town if you want, an issue of Timber Maniacs can be found at the Hotel under the bed. When you get bored head to the tomb. If you wanna go in style, rent a car.


( ( Tomb of the Unknown King ) GF Brothers


Enter the Tomb and go north one screen from the entrance to find the code. If your scared to go deeper into the tomb then be a wuss and return to Deling City.


( ( Assassination ) GF Carbuncle


Back at Deling City give the code to the soldier. Once inside the mansion talk to Rinoa to meet with General Caraway. Follow Caraway through the streets of Deling City, and eventually returning to his mansion. Once you gain control of Quistis, try to leave and Rinoa will enter. Once you gain control of Squall and Irvine, follow Caraway. Back as Quistis, return to the mansion and find yourself trapped.
When youre in control of Rinoa, acces the manhole to the right and climb down to the sewers. Head west until you reach the May issue of Weapons Monthly. Go back up the manhole and guide Rinoa up the boxes to the buildings rooftop. Then an FMV. Back as Quistis, you can escape the room by taking a wineglass from the cabinet on the left and placing it into the hands of the statue.
Head through the secret passageway to the sewers. Jump onto the waterwheel and head north. The parade begins and you regain control of Irvine and Squall. Lead them up the boxes, Rinoa's route, to reach the two crazy geckos, Iguion. Draw Carbuncle from the Iguions. They are weak against earth and strong against fire, a no no on Ifrit. Draw Esuna if you get stoned. When your done playing with the monsters, examine the previous screens, the hatch is on the floor. Get the sniper rifle then take control of Quistis.


( ( Stinky Sewers )


While navigating the sewers, you can open gates and jump onto waterwheels. Jump on the waterwheel and continue north until a cross junction, then head west, continue west until a corner junction, then head north until a second cross junction. Head east, jumping across the two waterwheels as you go, then across two more waterwheels and south until you reach the screen from which you entered the sewers. Head east then north to reach the save point and the ladder upward. Climb up the ladder to the top floor, examine the window and flip the switch.


( ( Seifer, Edea, First Encounter )


Rinoa, Squall, and Irvine will be the 3 musketeers for the final battle in DISC 1, so make sure they are all packin' heat. After alot of talking blah blah blah you fight Seifer. Hes not too hard, he seems to have lost his fighting skills, hes been hanging around too much with Edea, just do youre usual kicks in the ass and you should come out with only a scratch. And now for Edea, shes really tough if you dont know what youre doing. Heres an easy win, summon Carbuncle and she will act stupid and try to dispel your Reflect status like crazy. While shes busy doing that, cast Double on your team, yeah go team, and beat her to the ground. When she Dispels your Reflect status, cast Carbuncle again. Now you won or so you thought......


( NOW IT IS DISCCCCC......2!!!!!!)



( ( Winhill )


Once again your dreaming, back as Laguna in the town of Winhill. Talk to the little girl Ellone then head to the pub next door and talk to Kiros. Theres monster roaming around this town so be careful. Exit the pub and head south. Head right at the flower shop then down the slope heading south. After the sequence at the southern tip of the town, return back to the pub and and talk to Raine. Go back to your humble adobe and get some zzzzzz.


( ( Imprisoned )


Have Zell talk to everyone then talk to Rinoa. The game alternates between the party and poor Squall. After a crap of these back and forth screens, Zell talk to Quistis and plans and escape. Since everyone is a wuss without their weapons, have Zell go up the stairs to the 8th floor and get your weapons. Youll have to fight Biggs and Wedge, they are not too hard but becareful since your only a one man party. After bringing back your weapons to your fearless party, go all the way down to the 1st floor to find Zell's Combat King 001. Then climb all the way up to the 13th floor. On the 10th floor win a Card Battle against the man in the room to upgrade your Battle Meter. On the top floor, open the door on the right to rescue Squall.
Take Squall, Quistis, and Selphie to the bottom of the floor and open the door at the end of the hallway. Lead Zell downstairs until youre reunited. Lead Squall and Rinoa's party up to the 13th floor. Lead Irvine's party down to the third floor. There is a Save Point in the 6th floor. When you regain control of Squall's party, alot of switching isnt it?, talk to the Moomba then leave by the stairs in the south. Continue until you reach the walkway. Fight the boss. Use lightning to shortcircuit those robots. After youve won, cross the walkway. Move Squall to safety by moving to the right, if you dont its along way down, splat!!!!.


( ( Missile Base )


After the cars stop, talk to Selphie and she'll reveal her plan. Form Squalls party. Head west with Squall's party and board the train. Drive Selphie's party to the Missile Base in the southwest of the Galbadian continent.
Enter the western bunker. Examine the blue light on the west wall and proceed through the left door. Continue past the guard at the security door and continue east until you get off the staircase. Head south and talk to the two soldiers then return north and take the north door. Talk to the soldiers at the missile loading dock, exit the room and go back to the two soldiers. Take the stairs and return west to the security door. Talk to the guard and enter the room. Bash the controls as hard as you can, hehe. After you leave, keep up your disguise by choosing, "talk my way out", "we just got here", and "must be your imagination". Return to the missile dock and choose "play it cool" and "help out". Move the missiles. Exit and examine the computer by the elevator. Choose "Target", "Set Error Ratio" (set to maximum), then "Data Upload". Head right up the stairs, defeat the guards and examine the computers. Head north and examine the computers to activate the self-destruct mechanism. 20 minutes should be plenty. Exit through the door on the right. Exit the building and fight the boss. Use lightning based attacks, and keep your HP up, watch out for the laser beam countdown, it will shred you to pieces if your not careful. Once defeated youll get the June issue of Weapons Monthly . Now run around in circles like idiots and start crying cause you cant find a way out.....Kaboom, bye bye.


( ( Flight of the Garden )


Somethings gone wrong at the Garden, all the hotdogs are gone, hehe. Anyways, travel clockwise around the 1st floor perimeter, fully exploring each area and mowing down anyone who stands in your way. Talk to the poor people you saved to receive some items. If you need to save, go to your room in the dormitory. After you explored each area, find Xu in the lobby and follow her to the second floor. Talk to her and head to the 3rd floor to meet with Cid. Talk to Cid 3 times and return to the elevator. When it jams, examine the controls, then examine the hatch on the floor. Climb down the ladder quickly before the elevator restarts or youll end up a pancake. Open the hatch and go down. Enemies here are weak against fire. Junction Fire magic to your "Elem-Atk-J" Junction. Continue through the shaft until you reach the wheel. Turn it, exit the room, climb down the ladder, then down the stairs. Head behind the structure and a sequence will start. Have Squall climb up the ladder alone. Examine the controls and climb back down the ladder. Examine the blinking green light in the southwest corner. Climb down, pull the lever, and fight the boss. Not too hard, use fire-based attacks and GF Ifrit and torch them to ashes. Continue across the bridge and down the ladder. Mess around with the controls and activate the system.


( ( Master Borg, i mean Norg )


Head to the 2nd floor north balcony and watch the birds go by. Return to the bridge. The next morning, go to the front lobby and take the elevator downstairs. Talk to Master Borg and prepare to be assimilated. The two side orbs changes to blue and red, when they are red youre in deep trouble. Hit them with physical attack to turn it back to blue. Destroy the central shell to expose the all mighty Norg. Draw GF Leviathan from Master Norg. Then hit him with everything youve got, kick his butt, give him the finger, go team!!!, hes weak against Aero, use GF. After the long and exausting battle, head to the infirmary and talk to Dr. Kadowski and Cid. Head to the second floor north balcony and meet with White Seed. Go to the Library to find Ellone.


(

( Fisherman's Horizon )


Leave your room the next morning. Cid makes an announcement. Leave the Garden through the 2nd floor balcony. Make your way through the city, talking to the people as you go until you reach Mayor Dobe's house in the center of the amphitheater. Meet with him and his wife. Draw Ultima from the secret Draw Point on the right side of their room. Exit his house and exit all the way out of the stadium and follow Dobe to the right. Continue along the tracks until you reach the soldiers. Defeat the soldiers then fight the boss. Youve seen this boss before except this ones a little bit harder. Use lightning based attacks and Quezacotl and you should come out with only a scratch. Now wipe those dirt off your shoulder and talk to Rinoa.


( ( The Show Must Go On )


Return to the Garden and head to the stage in the Quad. Meet with Selphie then with Cid. Now its time for a concert. Assign an instrument to each character. Once the concert begins, change the camera angle and head left to the ledge. Examine the magazine on the ledge to begin a dialogue with Rinoa. The next morning head to the bridge and talk to Nida.
Now that the Garden is fixed and if you feel like exploring the world and look for secrets and take on some sidequests, go for it. For Secrets ( click here ).


( ( Where the heck is the Captain? ) GF Pandemona


Head for Balamb with Zell and talk to the two hotel staff and the soldiers. When the soldier allows you to enter the town, head for Zell's house and talk to his mother. Exit his house and talk to the two soldiers in front of the hotel, then talk to the ones at the harbor in the back of the town. Dont miss the soldier in the very back of the harbor with the dog. Return to Zell's house and speak with everyone in the dining room. Return to the harbor and talk to the dog. Follow Lassie to the train station. Head to the hotel and get ready to bust some caps. Make sure youre all good to go. Kill the two guards first, watch out for Raijin hes a killer, if you keep your HP up and use Protect, he should pose no threat. Keep your pants on cause its not over yet. Now you have to fight Fujin and Raijin. Cast Protect and Shell on everyone and use your GF, stay away from Quazecotl. Concentrate on Raijin first then finish off Fujin. Dont forget to draw GF Pandemona from Fujin. Once Dumb and Dumber have been defeated youll be rewarded with Combat King 002.

( ( Trabia Garden )

Head to Trabia Garden on the northeastern continent. Follow Selphie into the Garden. Head northeast to the spooky cemetary and find and issue of Timber Maniacs. The August issue of Weapons Monthly can be found 5 steps south of the (gargoylestatue/fountain) at the front gate, search the ground cause its buried. From the entrance head northwest, then right to reach a damaged control room. Examine the the controls to call up Selphie's data. Head west until you see the missile, examine it and Draw Aura. Head west to the basketball court, talk to everyone then try to leave. A flashback begins. Once you control the transparent Squall, head left and talk to the child, then head north into the house. Head east and then north. Go down to the beach. Talk to everyone and return to the beach. Talk to everyone again, then talk to Rinoa and form a new party.


( ( Garden Attacks )

Find the Galbadia Garden, its on an island in the south, head northwest from Trabia Garden, wrapping around the world to reach it. Save your game before you initiate the attack on the Garden. Start the attack. Leave the bridge, form a party, and head to the Quad. Head to the stage area and talk to Zell and Rinoa. After Squalls party returns to the bridge you take control of Zell's party, head west from the stage area. Now head to the front gate and reform your party. Head for the classroom in the 2nd floor, defeat the soldiers, one good GF will take care all of them. Now talk to the woman in the classroom and return to the bridge. Lead Squall to the second floor and talk to the kid near the elevator. Find the other kid in the classroom hall. After taking some hits from the soldier, choose "look around for another option" and "press the button for the emergency exit". The easiest way to win the minigame is by guarding the enemies attacks until a super punch is available, then nail him with it, sending him flying to the ground. Pick up Rinoa then land, and run past the riot. Name your ring and enter the Galbadia Garden.


( ( Galbadia Garden ) GF Cerberus

Head right from the Save Point, then head right from the hallway. Climb the stairs to the second floor, talk to Raijin and Fujin. Head west on the second floor, then enter the room on the right. Talk to the cadet to get the first Card Key. Return to the Save Point and head left. Enter the left door and cross the ice, then exit through the door on the right. Head through the door on the right and talk to the cadet for the second Card Key.
Leave the room and head south twice to reach the Save Point. Return to the staircase where you found Raijin and Fujin and climb to the 3rd floor. Open the door, jump down, and cross the basketball court to the door on the left. Head south until you reach Cerberus, a Save Point is located in the southeast corner of the room. This GF is tough, he can cast triple and bombarde you with his magic. First draw and cast triple on your party, do not stock yet, cast it right away. Haste your party and if Cerberus cast triple on himself, use dispel. Use GF and stay away from wind and lightning spells, any other spells other than that, stuff it down his throat, all 3 of them. Defeat Cerberus and he will join you.
Once youve defeated Cerberus, head west from where you fought him and enter the door on the left in the hallway. Talk to the girl to get the third Card Key. Return to where you fought Cerberus then head north and take the stairs on the right. Head west and take the elevator.


( ( Second Encounter ) GF Alexander

Poor boy again. Draw Haste and speed up your party, make sure you use Protect on your party to lessen the damage. Use GF Cerberus to cast Triple on your party. You should be able to take him down with minor scratches. When Seifer falls and starts crying for his mommy, its time to leave and take the elevator down. Head east past the stairs, you should now be in the second floor looking down where you fought Cerberus. Take the entrance to the Hall at the southeast corner. Now you must fight poor boy again and Edea. At firt you can only fight Seifer but hes a weakling now, a few little pokes of your sword should send him crying again. Now Edea fights. Draw Alexander from Edea. First cast Cerberus, then cast Shell and Haste on your party. Draw Demi and cast it on her to inflict massive damage. Keep your HP up with Regen or Cure, and keep your Shell status on check and your home free.

( Edea's House )


Head to Edea's house in the southwest corner of the world map. Find her by the shore and listen to everything she has to say, blah blah blah. After all the yappin and talkin, return to your flying garden. A copy of July issue of Weapons Monthly can be found at the training center, search the ground near the pile of junk in the western room. Head to the infirmary, choose your party and be prepared for the dream world.......


( ( Fantasy Pictures Presents... )


Mr. Loire, acteur extrordinaire. During the dragon mini-game, defend yourself, wait until it attacks and quickly slash it with your sword after the dragon attacks then defend again. When you win the mini-game make sure your party is packin heat because youre gonna face the dragon again. Haste yourself and make sure you use Protect. Use GF Shiva, stay away from Ifrit and Pandemona.


( ( White Seed )


Return to Edea's house and speak with her. Youll find the White Seed ship just north and east of Edea's house. Once your on board the ship, youll find Zone upstairs. If you have the Girl Next Door magazine, you can trade it for a Shiva card from him. Head downstairs into the main cabin, Draw Holy, and talk to the leader. Back at the Garden, head to the infirmary and talk to Rinoa.


( ( Snow Field )


Once you have Rinoa in your shoulders, keep walking until Squall stops, then keep talking to Rinoa blah blah blah, then continue walking. Talk to your friends, form a party, and continue along the tracks. Exit the tracks and enter the snow field to the east. Continue north until you reach a dead end cliff. From the dead end head right to a Save Point or head left to meet the boss. The boss is an undead creature. Cure spells will do wonders with this creature. Leviathan' s "Recovery" command will kill it almost instantly. Make sure you draw and stock up on some Flare Spells. Continue along the path and examine the flickering cliff to find a secret passageway. Now take a ride on the elevator...... next stop, nightmare world.


( ( Laguna )


Talk to the guard by the elevator on the right, then to the guard by the door on the left. Talk to the Moomba, then to the man by the console, and to the Moomba once again. Once Dumb and Dumber joins you, make sure they are no cry babies and give them some GF. Take the elevator and sneak past behind those idiot scientists and take the staircase on the right. Talk to the man outside and then return into the building. Get the First Issue of Weapons Monthly in the southwest corner of the room. Take the elevator down and fight the soldiers. Leave the building and enter the car. In the new building, examine the elevator in the middle of the room and take the elevator up. Head north and defeat the guards. Examine the controls until you unlock the door. Return downstairs and head north to find Ellone.


( ( Esthar ) GF Doomtrain


After meeting with Dr. Odine in the Palace, leave his room and head right and take the elevator to the city. The city is huge and its easy to get lost. Explore the city and when youre done take the exit gate to the south. This area's enemy encounter rate is high so use Diablo's "Enc-None" or rent a car. Head to Tears' Point first in the southeast corner of the continent. Get the Solomon Ring. Now head north to the Lunar Gate.


( ( Lunar Gate )


Enter the Lunar Gate and follow the woman to the elevator. Choose to enter space and select your third party member, then board the lift. Back on the ground lead Zell's party back to Esthar. At the entrance take the lift to Odine's Lab. Head upstairs and talk to Odine. Leave his lab after hes done talking. Once outside the lab keep heading east until you reach the entrance from which you entered the city. From this screen head north, then take the stairs on the left and continue left. You should now be at the first contact point. Press the square button to make sure youre in the right place. Now just sit your butt here and wait for the Pandora at the 15:00 mark. Fight some soldiers and board the Pandora.
Inside the Pandora, climb the stairs to the three elevators. Take elevator 01 on the left and descend down. When you get off the elevator head north along the path, dont take any turns, just keep heading north until you meet a robot. This robot doesnt like anyone so it will boot you out of the Pandora...... and you did all that for nothing.


( ( Space )


Talk to the crew and pick up Rinoa on the southwest side of the screen. Follow the crew. Take the north door and place Rinoa inside the chamber. Exit the chamber room and go to the hallway, keep heading north until you reach the bridge. Examine the monitor to start an FMV. Leave the bridge and take the stairs. Talk to the stargazing woman. Continue south to find Ellone, talk to her and return to Riona's room. Rinoa's gone crazy, must be space sickness. Talk to Rinoa in the hallway and follow her to the bridge. Talk to her in the bridge and examine the monitor. Leave the bridge and take the stairs. From the upside-down hallway screen, take the door on the right to the locker room. Watch Rinoa leave through the airlock, then find a apacesuit from one of the lockers and follow her. Continue floating towards Rinoa until the airlock closes, then head back to the bridge. Talk to everyone in the bridge. Abandone Ship!!!!! Head right to the escape pod. Talk to Ellone.
The mini-game is a first-person perspective. Position your target in the center of the screen then press the button to engage your thrusters.... warp speed Scotty!!


( ( Ragnarok )



Enter the Ragnarok. Monsters are infesting the Ragnarok. You have to kill the monsters but theyre not easy. You must find and kill the monsters in similar colored pairs. Avoid killing a different color after each fight or they will come back to life. If a different colored monster runs after you, just run away and avoid it and find the color your looking for. Theres a Save Point under the stairs. Once youve killed all the monsters, head to the bridge and start up the Ragnarok and head for home.


( ( Save Rinoa )


The Ragnarok lands and Rinoa is taken away. When Rinoa leaves, go back inside the Ragnarok and head to the computer room. Talk to everyone. Selphies at it again, shes flying the Ragnarok. Head to Esthar Sorceres Memorial. Enter the memorial and talk to the scientists. Head right and free Rinoa. Leave the building and head to Edea's house. Follow Angelo right to the field and talk to Rinoa. Leave the house and talk to Edea and head to Esthar. Once in Esthar, from the entrance keep heading north until you see on the word "highway" on the road, from this screen head west to the Presidential Palace. Take the elevator and keep heading left till you reach the President. Speak to him and listen to everything he has to say, and make sure you ask him how he got there.
Before you head to the Lunatic Pandora, you may want to take on some sidequest cause this will be your last chance.


( ( Lunatic Pandora )


Fly the Ragnarok to the Lunatic Pandora now hovering over Tear's Point. Youll emmediately fight Raijin and Fujin. Draw Full-Life from them, if you have Doomtrain cast it. Make sure you use Protect and Shell to lessen the damage. After defeating them, head north then head left and talk to Biggs and Wedge. Enter the tunnel on the left, continue along the path, not taking any turns, and take the elevator. After getting off the elevator, take Elevator 01 on the left. Once off the elevator, continue north, not taking any turns, until you reach a robot, the same robot that kicked you out of the Pandora earlier.
This time the robot wont boot you out, you fight. Make sure you cast Cerberus and Doomtrain to give you an advantage. Hit him with lightning based attacks, and again make sure you have Protect and Shell status cause his attacks can inflict massive damage. Triple cast Cure magics when your low on HP. Once defeated, continue north until you meet Seifer. Use Protect on your party to lessen the damage while you draw and stock up on some Aura spells. Make sure you stock up of this magic cause your gonna need it later, trust me. When youre done, cast Aura on yourself and make mincemeat out of poor boy.


( NOW IT IS DISCCCCC......4 and also prepare for the finalllllll tha bosses!!!!!!!



( ( Adel )


Form a new party and head south to where you fought the robot. Youll notice on the right that the structure has dropped a bridge. Cross over and climb the ladder all the way to the top to find Rinoa and Seifer. Meet Adel. Hes a bit rusty after all those years of confinement. This battle is tricky cause you might end up damaging Rinoa. Stay away from your GF that inflict damage and Spells to more than one enemy. Draw Regen from Rinoa and cast it on your party including Rinoa. Cast Cerberus and use normal attacks and magic spells on Adel and make sure you have Shell status cause Adel can cast Ultima. Continue healing Riona and your party, recast Regen when it wores out.


( ( Witches )


Its time for compression. When you get to the Save Point, only the first one is real and the rest are fakes. Save your game. Now you must fight a long and continous battle against a number of witches. The normal witches only have a few thousand HP and are easy to dispose, the final ugly witch is a bit tougher. Use this chance to stock up on some Holy Spells. Make sure you have Protect status cause her counter attack inflicts massive damage. Also make sure you have Shell status cause she can also cast Ultima. Use haste, triple and dont give her a chance. Also Aura driven limits will do wonders with her.


( ( Ultimecia's Castle )


The entrance to the Castle is on the beach. Climb the chain to the entrance. Once you step inside her castle your abilities will be sealed off, you must form 2 parties. Leaving the castle will temporarily break the seal, use this tactic to heal your party and save the game. You must earn your abilities back by finding the monsters that sealed them and destroying them. Make sure you junction the most powerful spells to your strength and also it would help if you junction either Death or Drain spells to your "Sts-Atk-J". After earning each of your abilities make sure you head outside and save. While inside the castle you can switch to your party thats closest to the exit door and if you have them exit out, everyone else will automatically exit out, use this tactic as well to heal your party and save your game.

( ( Sphinxara )


From the entrance, take the stairs and youll meet Sphinxara at the top of the stairs. This boss is easy, just keep attacking it and it should fall down soon enough. Unlock one of your abilities.


( ( Tri-Point )


From the entrance, take the stairs and go through the door at the top, this places you above a huge chandelier. Get on it and it will plummet to the room below. Theres a hatch door on the floor that leads to the basement, youll find Tri-Point there. This boss counter attacks with a Thunder-based Mega Spark that causes major damage. If you junction Thunder to your "Elem-Def" youll be able to absorb his attack and heal yourself..... like taking candy from a baby. Unlock another ability.


( ( Krysta )


You need two parties for this one. From the entrance have your "dummy" party go up the stairs through the door at the top. Get on the chandelier, and after it falls head to the right at the glowing green circle that you use to switch between party members. Stand on it and it will automatically activate a lever that stops the chandelier from falling. Now switch to your "real" party and have them go up the stairs through the door at the top and across the chandelier and through the north door. Meet Krysta. Doesnt have alot of HP but has a very high defensive power. Cast Meltdown or Doomtrain, and use your most powerful GF except for Shiva. Use protect to lessen its counter attacks, and watch out for an Ultima spell. Unlock another ability after defeating it. Make sure you save your game.


( ( Trauma )


From the entrance go up the stairs. When youre at the top of the stairs head right and go down the small stairs and enter the door on the right. Head right and take the stairs down and enter the north door. You should now be in the art gallery, you can tell by the pretty chandelier and a stairs to your right. Examine all the paintings. Theres a total of 12 small paintings and 1 huge paiting. Go up the stairs to your right and examine all the paitings up there. When your done upstairs go back down and examine a few paitings just to the right of the north door and some on the southeast side of this screen. The huge paiting is on the left side of this screen. It is important that you have examine all the paitings.
Now go to the huge painting and name it. VIVIDARIUM ET INTERVIGILIUM ET VIATOR, or In the Garden Sleeps a Messanger. Once you finish naming the painting youll notice that theres a monster behind you. Meet Trauma, and thats what he will give you. Its main attack is Mega Pulse Cannon and boy can it burn your asses down. He has very high defensive power so use Meltdown or summon Doomtrain. He can call on little Dromas to help him but dont worry about them, they are not powerful, just concentrate on Trauma. Use powerful GF and Triple spells and make sure you have a character on standby for healing purposes. Aura driven limits works great. Once you gave Trauma a taste of his own medicine, unlock one of your abilities.


( ( Red Giant )


Head to the art gallery. Once in the art gallery, take the north door. Once your outside take the stairs down to the basement armory. Enter the door on the left. Youre locked in!!!! Take the prison key from the corpse's hand and the Red Giant will appear. This boss has extremely high defensive power. Use Doomtrain to blind him and weaken its defenses, or use Meltdown to weaken its defenses. Use GF and Protect. Gravity-based attacks will do wonders against this boss. Give him a good beating to unlock one of your abilities.


( ( Gargantua )


From the entrance, go up the stairs and through the door at the top. Stand on the chandelier and let it fall. After you fell, go north and take the door. Keep going north past the fountain and enter the north door. You should now see a stairs to your right. Go up the stairs on the right. Youll come across a bridge, theres a key on the other side. Walk slowly, do not run or youll shake the bridge and the key will fall and all hell will be lost. (In case you screw up and the key falls, you can go back to the basement armory and find the key washed up in the stream).
If you succeded in getting the key, you still need to go back to the basement armory and unlock the door on the right. Enter the door and youll find a Vysage waiting in the back. GF Siren works great against them, it will silence them and prevent them from using any magics. When you defeat the Vysage, it will crawl out from the ground. Now meet Gagantua. Watch out for his counter attack or he will make a gargantua out of you. To easily beat him, Junction Earth to your "Elem-Def" and Berserk to your "Stat-Def". He will have a hard time causing Berserk and causing damage to your party. When you pound Gargantua back to the ground unlock one of your abilities.

( ( Catoblepas )

Youll need two parties on this one. From the entrance, take your "dummy" party up the stairs. Once on top of the stairs head left. Continue left and enter the door on the left. Enter the north door and continue on north pass the tilted room until you see the "party exchange" green circle on the elevator. Stand on it and change to the other party. Take your "real" party to the basement armory entrance except dont go down the basement, instead take the stairs on the left and continue left past the Save Point until you see your "dummy" party. Get your "real" party on the other elevator. (If both elevators dont move, it means you did not examine all the paintings in the art gallery). Now take your "dummy" party and head left to the room and find the Flood Gate Key.
Now take your "real" party and the Flood Gate Key down the basement armory. Youll notice a lever right next to the door on the left. Use your Flood Gate Key and drain the water. Now head to where the fountain is, there you will find the Treasure Vault Key. Take the Key to the tilted room with the flickering light. Half way across the hallway is a door on the left, use your Treasure Vault Key to open it and enter. Youll see 4 coffins, open all of them, its a bit tricky, just mess around with it and eventually all 4 will open. Catoblepas will come out and play. This boss has alot of HP and uses Thunder attacks. Start by summoning Doomtrain to give you an advantage. Avoid using lightning-based attacks. Draw Meteor and cast it on him. Before he dies he will cast a final spell Ultima so watch out and make sure your party's HP is high. Unlock another ability.


( ( Tiamat )


Return to the room with the organ and go up the stairs to the right. Cross the shaky bridge and enter the door on the left. Climb the tower until you see the giant pendulum. Youll notice it swings left and right, position your party on the left side and when it swings towards you jump on it and swing across to the other side. Go right, through the gap and meet Tiamat. Tiamat is a wanna be Bahamut but not strong enough. He only uses one attack called Dark Flare, and a very powerful one. Make sure you use Protect or youll be toast. Summon Doomtrain to slow him down and weaken its defenses. Stay away from GF Ifrit, Quezacotl, and Pandemona. As long as you keep your HP up and have Protect status you should be fine. Unlock your last ability.
Go back to the pendulum and swing across the other side. Continue climbing the tower. Walk across the clock's hand and down the ladder. Head right and down another ladder. Continue along the path until you reach a Save Point. Save your game and prepare for the final battle.

Talk to Ultimecia and say your greetings then say your prayers.......

Surprise, your party is randomly selected. Dont panic, its nothing bad. Dont evenly distribute your GF cause that wont work either. Just outfit your best 3 characters. When Ultimecia unfortunately selects a "weak" character just use that character to support the "good" characters and let the "weak" character die. Once the "weak" character dies, it will be replaced with another character almost immediately. Keep supporting your "good" characters and let the "weak" ones die until you have the 3 characters you wanted. Use this tactic to get your desired party at the first form Ultimecia takes or the first fight since shes not too hard to defend, but dont kill her yet before you get your desired party.

Before you get rid of her, summon Cerberus and cast Shell and Protect on your party then quickly end her with Aura driven limit from Squall. When shes done for, she will summon Griever.

Now things get really hard. Make sure everyone is able to revive a dead character. Triple cast your strongest spell, and cast Aura like crazy and pound Griever with your Limit Breaks. Keep your Protect and Shell status in check and recast them when they wore out. Upon death, Griever will cast Shockwave Pulsar that will eat up your HP for more than 6000 HP, so try to keep your HP up by triple-casting Curuga.

The third form can erase your party's HP for 2000-3000 at a time. Your best action to take would be triple casting Curuga and continue Aura driven limits, and hope you can kill it.

The final form has the most powerful attack of all: Hell's Judgement. This deathly blast will send every character's energy plummeting to a miserable 1 HP. Barely alive, triple cast Curuga or use a megalixer. Again, your only hope is Triple casting powerful spells and Aura driven limits. When you see Ultimecia "Draw Apocalypse" on itself, thats your clue to do two things, get your HP to the max and Shell yourself cause 7000 HP of hurt is coming your way. Draw the Apocalypse Spell and Triple cast it to teach Ultimecia a world of hurt. After a long, agonizing, painful battle, hopefully victory was yours.......
