The taciturn hero of this amazing adventure likes to think of himself as a loner. He doesn't like people to know how he feels. Forced into a position of responsibility however, he shows some surprising leadership qualities, leading his followers to be loyal to him.
A excellent Gunblade fighter, Squall is easily the most promising SeeD cadet ever. Balamb Garden has high hopes for him. Squall is rarely beaten by Seifer, his fellow trainee who considers Squall his eternal rival. Squall is a far more balanced student than Seifer and would never resort to unfair means to reach his goal, whatever it may be. He has a definite absence of pride over his achievements though and always seems to try to hide his feelings that might bring him closer to others.
Though he is withdrawn he never shrinks from what he considers to be his duty and although he hates leadership, he is the first to ensure that whatever is necessary gets done. Others follow Squall because of his clear mind and sense of responsibility. He is a popular person at Balamb Garden and even though people all agree on how difficult Squall can be, staff and students admire and like him. So, much against his will he makes friends that care for him. and while Squall still desperately tries to remain detached from other people, Squall will change many things. He will change himself and the world.
Limit Break: Renzokuken
Squall attacks one opponent several times with his Gunblade depending on the emergency factor of the situation and then may use one of his four possible finishing blows. Squalls finishing blows are as follows:
1. Rough Divide - Attack one enemy
2. Fated Circle - Attack all enemies
3. Blasting Zone - Attack all enemies
4. Lion Heart - Attack one enemy with 17 blows doing 9999 damage each if your strength stats are at 255.
You learn new techniques when you upgrade your weapon. When you upgrade you still have the previously learnt skills and Squall will automatically activate a random one at the end of Renzokuken.
