A new feature in the Final Fantasy series is the concept of magazines. Magazines can be bought and found around the world of FF8, and are used for upgrading weapons, learning limit breaks and giving various hints about a certain GF. ^_^ This page basically gives the locations, costs and types of magazines that can be found throughout the world.
Weapons Monthly
This magazine provides you with all of the information you need to upgrade your weapon. It will have 4 new upgrades each magazine you collect. It is a very good idea to try to collect all of these magazines.

Occult Fan
This is mysterious magazine found dotted around the world. It gives you useful tips on side quests and how to get GF Doomtrain.
