You Are My Only Love Part 14
Jupiter's eyes widen in disbelieve of what she had heard. After all these days and after all they had been through, he still brought this up?
"What are you saying?" Jupiter looked hurt. Nephrite frowned. He had never wanted to hurt her feeling.
"We..Well....um...I..ah," Nephrite stammered. He was searching a right to clarify it to make sure that she didn't misunderstand.
"Why are you bringing this all up?" asked Jupiter.
"Um....."
"Why now? I mean you are the one who promise to drop this thing and you swear that you will never brought it up ever again, didn't you?" Nephrite sighed. Why was she being so hard? All he wanted was an explanation.
"Look, Jupiter. I know that I promise to drop this..."
"Then why you...." Jupiter's feature changed. "You are not planning to use this to leave me aren't you?" she asked fearfully.
"What!? Jupiter, I would never do that. I love you so much and it scared me when you were injured badly. I could never leave you eventhough everybody is against us. How could you think such thing?"
"Well, you keep bring that up and I...." Jupiter looked down feeling so relieve that she couldn't hide it.
"Jupiter," Nephrite lifted her head by pushing gently her chin up. "They want to know why Beryl only want to beat you but not the other?"
"What are you saying?" Jupiter said nervously. "Don't they see the bruises on their faces?" She had let Nephrite thought that Ian was attempted to rape her and she didn't tell the part where Ian had confessed that he loved her. She had kept it as a secret and told no one including her best friends. The thought of she might see him again made her sick.
"Venus told us everything that had happened,"
"Oh," Jupiter couldn't think of any excuse.
"And I want to know, we all want to know why Beryl hates you very much?" Nephrite raised his eyebrows. Normally, Jupiter loved whenever Nephrite raised his eyebrows because he looked so cute. But now she was too nervous to notice.
"How should I know. I'm not a telepath, you know" Jupiter teased him a little.
"Well, I think you knew. But if you don't want to tell me, I won't force you," Nephrite tried to looked hurt and it worked.
"Nephrite! Look, I will tell you but promise me that you will not go after Ian like mad, okay?" Nephrite smiled widely. After all, what could be worse than having a friend who tried to rape your lover?
"Ian confessed to me that he loved me," Jupiter said timidly. Nephrite stared into her eyes in shock and disbelieve. He used to believe that Ian merely kissed Jupiter because of his lust. Now, he knew that Ian kissed her because he loved her. AND SHE DIDN'T TELL HIM AND LET HIM BELIEVE THAT IAN TRIED TO RAPE HER. Did she think that he was an idiot?
"Nephrite, I didn't tell you because...."
"Because you think I would do something stupid? Like go after him without thinking? You didn't trust me that I would do the right thing?" Nephrite accused her. What had hurt him was not about Ian loved Jupiter. Who wouldn't? Anyman would fall in love with enchanting and beautiful lady like her. The thought of Jupiter didn't trust him by keeping secret from him hurt him. He thought that they could honest be at each other.
"Listen to me! Don't you dare think that I didn't trust you. I never trust anyone more than I trust you. The only reason I didn't tell you is I..I was afraid you'll hate me. When we fight last time and you left me, I was so frightened. I had never felt this hopeless before in my whole life. I realized that what ever I did or tried, I could never stop loving you, eventhough you had insulted and hurt me badly. I'd tried not to tell you because I don't want to be left ever again," Nephrite was dumbfounded. He knew that she loved him but he never thought that she loved him that much.
Jupiter watched his emotion mixed. Please, I don't want to fight anymore. Why couldn't we live together without fighting? Nephrite sighed. "I'm sorry. I was jealous, I guess," Nephrite wrapped his arms back around her waist and pulled her closer to him. He leaned forwards until his lips touched her ear. Jupiter felt his breath hit her ear softly. She responded by putting her hands on his chest as she closed her eyes, feeling the heat of his body.
"Will you forgive me?" she heard her lover whispered. Jupiter smiled at the tenderness he gave her. "Not until you forgive me first," she whispered back. Nephrite laughed softly and she knew she was forgiven.
"Well, I think Beryl loves Ian and Ian loves Jupiter and Jupiter didn't him back. Beryl knows but the jealousy that Ian loves some else beside her made her hates Jupiter," Zoisite made a conclusion.
"So that's why Ian just tied them up not even bother to hurt them but Beryl in the other hand....." said Endymion
"Wanted to throw all her anger to Jupiter," Kunzite finished.
"So?" Nephrite looked at the three of them.
"What do you mean by the word 'so'?" Mars frowned.
"What does it has to do with the battle?" Nephrite explained. Everyone silenced. That thought had never occured in anyone's mind. Jadeite sighed,"This is really frustrating. We had been discussing this damn thing for nothing!"
Suddenly, Queen Serenity rushed in with her face filled with fear and horror. "They were attacking the Silver Millenium and.....and King Endymion...... Oh, god. King Endymion," They all rushed towards Queen Serenity who was ready to collapse. Mercury hold her queen while everyone was waiting for explaination. Everyone exchanged glances in worried when Queen Serenity was crying. Endymion was wondering what had happened to his father. Kneeling down, he began asking. "Queen Serenity, what had happened to my father?"
When Queen Serenity heard Endymion's question, her sobbing was increasing. "We was discussing.....at...at the Royal Garden when suddenly.....th..this young man with....very unusual blue eyes......stabbed him at back!" Endymion's face changed between rage and sadness. Serenity noticed his changed and she began to feel uneasy.
Endymion stood up with his eyes darkened. He began to walk towards the door. "Endymion! Where do you think you are going?" Kunzite called his prince. Keeping his voice cool, he said,"I'm going to sliced that asshole up into pieces," his eyes shining in anger and he left the room.
It all was happening so fast that without thinking, Serenity began to chase after him. "ENDYMION! NO!" Serenity shouted. Venus tried to grabbed her princess hand to restrained her from going after him but failed.
They all were about to after Serenity when suddenly monsters, coming from nowhere blocking the door. "Damn!" Kunzite swore. "We have to them, guys because the door is the only way out." "But princess...." Venus protested. "We all were worried about both of them, lover. How are we supposed to save them while we're stucked here?" Kunzite said logically. Venus sighed.
"Venus," Jupiter whispered and Venus looked at her. "What!" she whispered back. Smiling wickedly, she teased her,"Lover?" "Um...well.." Venus began to blush furiously.
"IAN, YOU SONOFABITCH! CAME OUT" Endymion shouted with rage. He was going to killed that asshole painfully. That's the prize for killing his beloved father. His wish came true when Ian was standing behind him.
"I'm here, cousin" A voice that made Endymion's blood boiled. Turning his body facing him, he drew out his sword. "How could you killed you very own uncle, you bastard,"
"Soon, my very own cousin will die too," Ian mocked. Endymion tried to control the urge to punch that disgusting mouth.
"No, you'll die first,"
"We'll see about that," Ian replied as he drew out his sword too. The battle between Ian and Endymion started. At first, Ian looked liked he's going to win when he was the one who made many attacks while Endymion prefered defending himself. Endymion waited Ian became tried and when Ian had, Endymion took the opportunity to fight back.
At the time Ian was near to lose, Beryl, who came from no where walked slowly behind Endymion's back. At the same time, Serenity arrived and when she saw Beryl was sneaking behind Endymion, she tried to warned him but the warning came too late. Beryl had already stabbed her lover at back.
"NOOO! ENDYMION....!" Serenity watched her lover fell lifelessly in horror. Without thinking, she ran forward and picked up Endymion's sword and buried the sword deep inside Beryl's belly with all the anger she felt inside.
Ian,who was exhausted, tried run away. Without even bother Beryl,who was dying, he teleported himself. Serenity in the other hand was watching Beryl died and no matter what she said to convince her heart it didn't satisfied her. She began kneeling beside her lover's dead body and started to cry with all her might. Burying her face into his wounded chest, Serenity didn't care about the war that was happening outside. She knew that she was not as strong as Jupiter who was able to forget the only man she love like Shinosaki. Her heart will die together with Endymion and their love. No matter what, she wanted to be with Endymion forever.
And there is only one way. Serenity picked up a sword that had killed Beryl. Watching her lover face, she lowered her lips to his and deepened her kiss. Her tears fell from her soft cheek to Endymion's cool cheek. She lifted her sword high in the air.
"I'm coming, sweetheart. Wait for me," Serenity whispered. She then stabbed the sword into her belly. The pain was unbearable as Serenity fell down on Endymion chest. "I...'m.....com...ing, my love," Serenity let out her last word and closed her eyes.
"Mars, what's wrong?" Jadeite looked at her concernly. Mars looked back at her lover. She didn't why but she felt something really bad happened and she couldn't tell what it is. But still..... Shaking her head slowly, she smiled as if trying to brush away his concern. "I'm okay,"
Jadeite looked at her for the last time before he focused on the battle. He knew that they were losing because everytime they had killed a monster, it came back to life. They became more and more tried while the number of the monster was increasing.
Suddenly Mercury collapsed in exhausted. Quickly, Zoisite rushed towards her to make sure she was alright.
"Mercury! Are you alright?" Zoisite kneeling in front of her. His face turned to worry when he heard her breath was getting faster. Lifting her face up, Zoisite tried to examine her but Mercury pulled her head away.
"I'm fine," she said and tried to stand up but failed. Zoisite knew that was exhausted. He headed towards Kunzite who had just killed a monster. "Kunzite!" Kunzite looked at Zoisite.
"We can't win," When he saw Kunzite didn't respond, he walked closer to him.
"Kunzite, I said...." he tried again.
"I know damn it. What am I supposed to do with this?" Kunzite shouted in frustration.
"Well, I think the most important thing is sending Queen Serenity out from this room because she's the one who can stop this whole up," Zoisite began.
"What are you suggesting?" Kunzite showed an interest. He wanted to be ended right now so he could be with Venus.
"Send two of us to guide Queen Serenity out while we fighting here. Told Queen Serenity to teleport us to somewhere else and we're going to fight again when we're prepared," Zoisite said.
Kunzite bit his lower lip as he thought fast. "Think fast, Kunzite. We don't have much time left," Zoisite warned him.
He knew that Zoisite's plan were a risky plan. There were so many things that could happen. But do they had any choice? Finally Kunzite nodded his head. "We'll send Nephrite and Jupiter to guard Queen Serenity because they are the only who seem fine," Zoisite nodded in agreement.
After told Zoisite's plan, Jupiter started to hold Queen Serenity while Nephrite stood behind her as for a backup. Jadeite, Mars and Kunzite started to killed some of the monster to make some space so Nephrite, Jupiter and Queen Serenity could go out without any disturbance.
As soon as they finally out, they began to headed to Queen Serenity's room to get Silver Crystal. The attack were more at the city. The people shouted and cried for help are everywhere. Buildings exploded as fire consume them. Bodies are every where. The Silver Millenium was dying.
When they were far enough from the building where their other friends was in there fighting, the building started to burn. Jupiter and Nephrite watched the scene in horror. Jupiter started to run towards the building back as she tried to save her friends.
"NO!!! MARS, VENUS, MERCURY!!!!" Jupiter seemed forgetting everything. Her mission, her queen and her lover. Nephrite, who was staring blankly at the building, began to gain his senses and started to chase Jupiter.
"JUPITER!!!NO!!!!COME BACK," Nephrite catched her by grabbing her waist. Jupiter started to stuggle, trying to get away.
"LET ME GO!!! I want to save them!!!," Jupiter screaming. Tears fell damping her cheek. Nephrite tightened his grasp.
"Jupiter, we have more important thing to do. They risked their life to make sure we accomplish the mission that they had given to us," Nephrite tried to calm her down.
"No! I want to save them!"
"Jupiter, listen to me! Don't failed their hope. They are hoping that we can stop the battle. They'd die but we are still alive and it is now our job!" Nephrite looked into her teary eyes. Slowly Jupiter nodded her head and they walked towards Queen Serenity.
Together they continue their journey.
