"Oh my," Zoisite murmured as he looked around. The Earth Kingdom was absolutely destroyed. Dead people were lying everywhere with destroyed buildings around them. The kingdom which was once full with trees and flowers with beautiful buildings was now change. There were no trees or flowers left. It seemed that all that once were alive were dead. Nothing left.

"What had happened in just one day?" Kunzite whispered. Jadeite shook his head slowly as he walked towards a corpse. He slowly turned the body and saw the body's face was totally pale. Almost blue. Jadeite frowned. He knew that a body needed at least a week inside a cool room to get this blue. Then he went to another corpse. The same thing. He looked around and realized that all the corpses were facing down.

"Nephrite," he called. Nephrite quickly ran towards him.

"What?!"

"Did you notice that all the bodies were facing down and their faces were totally blue?" Nephrite raised his eyebrow. Now he noticed.

"Yeah, I wonder who did this,"

"I don't get it. Our army is one of the powerful military in this universe. I mean, if we were attacked by another army, we would know it earlier. It seems that...you know...we were attacked by something that......," Jadeite looked at Nephrite. "You know what I mean?"

"I can see what you mean. I can see that you are expecting a traitor in our base," Nephrite watched his friend feature change. "I'm not blaming you. I was expecting the same thing as you do," Jadeite raised his eyebrows.

"Who do you think?" Jadeite asked him. Nephrite bit his lower lip as he shrugged,"I don't know. Ian perhaps,"

"Ian?!" Jadeite chuckled. "Ian know little about wars. Beside, he hated battle as much as he hated you,"

"Perhaps he made a conspiracy with something that....... You know what I mean," Nephrite imitated Jadeite's words earlier. Then he moved away, leaving Jadeite frowned. "Conspiracy," Jadeite said thoughtfully as he walked towards his friends. "Maybe,".

King Endymion was pacing around, thinking what to do next. Seeing his kingdom like this with his people dead everywhere make him felt so guilty for leaving them. I should never had left my kingdom. How can I be so stupid. Endymion shook his head slowly. He didn't want to see his father like this. He remember what his father had said about fate. When bad things happened and you think it was your fault, you would and will never blame yourself as we cannot fight fate. Remember that my son because you are the heir of this kingdom. "Father," Endymion placed his hand on his father's shoulder. King Endymion stopped pacing and looked at his son. "What shall we do next?"

King Endymion sighed as he rubbed at the back of his neck. "Um....Lets check on the corpses. Perhaps there are people alive and maybe he can tell us what exactly had happened here," he made up his mind. Endymion and the four generals nodded their heads and began their searching.

The four senshi were guarding the city. Queen Serenity had told them to stick together and when they saw the monsters, they had to wait for their other friends to start chasing. The senshi had agreed to call the other senshi whenever they found one.

Sailor Venus was boring. She had walking around for four hours and found nothing except for human, of course. Serenity was pratically begging to follow them but Queen Serenity forbided her for going. Sailor Venus chuckled. She, princess Serenity, who know nothing about wars or fighting wanted to go with them? Queen Serenity said that Serenity will only disturb them and, of course, Serenity cried. She thinks that this war is a game. Venus thought as she leaned against an enormous maple tree.

Sailor Jupiter was bored too. She was hoping a real fight with disgusting monsters and all she found was a bright and cheerful happy morning. She unconsciously fingering a locket that was given by Nephrite. She smiled thought of yesterday.

Flash Back

Jupiter was preparing for the battle when she heard her door had been knocked. Jupiter smiled. She recgonized the knocking sound very well. She quickly ran towards the door and saw Nephrite was standing.

"Congratulation," Nephrite greeted her.

"Huh?" Jupiter frowned. They were about to face a big battle tomorrow and he congratulated her.

"For not crying for my leaving tomorrow," he teased her. Jupiter laughed softly. "Very funny. Come in," Jupiter stepped aside, giving Nephrite permission to walk in.

"So, what brought you here," Jupiter looked up. "Instinct," Nephrite said as he pulled Jupiter closer to him. Sliding her arms up to his chest, "An instinct of what?"

Nephrite sighed. "I don't know. I got this bad feeling about tommorow's battle," Seeing Nephrite change from a teaser to serious, worried her. "Like what?"

Nephrite looked hesitated as silence surrounded them for a while. Jupiter waited impatiently. "Like what?" she repeated her earlier question. Nephrite was still hesitated.

"Nephrite, if you're holding something important from me, I...." "I felt that this is the last time we'd ever be together," Nephrite cut in. Jupiter's eyes were widen in shock and confusion.

"What do you mean the last time?" she demanded.

"I...I,"

"You didn't mean that you are going to die in the battle, aren't you,"

"No, I mean..."

"Then, why did you say 'this is the last time'?"

"I'm...I'm just..."

"Or there's maybe something else that you're holding away from me," suddenly Nephrite had enough.

"JUPITER, STOP IT!" Nephrite grasped her shoulder. They were looking at each other's eyes as silence took over. Minutes passed and they were still looking at each other.

"I'm just saying......I 'felt'. I'm not sure whether what am I feeling is true or not. That's why I came here, you know, in case anything happen,"

Jupiter frowned. She didn't understand what did he mean by 'in case anything happen' and she certainly didn't like it. She began wished Nephrite would be more understandable. She looked in his eyes but his eyes were enigma. Sometime she really couldn't understand him. "I don't get it," Jupiter finally found her voice.

Nephrite looked hesitated as he grasped something in his hand. He looked hesitated but not nervous. Jupiter waited for him to clarify but it seemed forever. Suddenly, Jupiter's patient snapped. "Nephrite.....," she began.

"Shhh," Nephrite whispered as he placed his finger on her soft lips. "I came here to make a vow with you," Jupiter's eyes's were widened in confuse. Vow? She watched Nephrite opened his palm and revealed a beautiful heart-shaped emerald locket. Jupiter still didn't understand what did the locket had to do wih his vow? She allowed Nephrite to wear the locket around her neck. She had so many question in her head but she could not speak it out.

"Jupiter, by this locket, I promise to you that even if we die in this battle, nothing can stop me from loving you. I want to be your love and the only one. If I will be reborn, I swear that you will be my love on that life. I'll search you no matter where you are because you are my only love," Nephrite lifted her hands and brought it to his chest. "Promise to me Jupiter. Promise me the same thing or it will be no battle tommorrow for me," Jupiter was totally dumbfounded by his words. Never, in her wildest dream, she had imagine that Nephrite would say something like that. Then, she raised her teary eyes to meet him.

"I promised," she whispered softly. Nephrite lowered his mouth hungrily to her. Jupiter accepted his love and began to return his kiss.

End Flashback

Jupiter smiled blissfully as she recall the memory of his warm and hard body against her during their first love making. His voice was tender and seductive as his hands..... "JUPITER!!" Jupiter quickly woke up from her daydreaming and saw Venus was facing the monsters. Jupiter was almost jumped from her seat to catch up with Venus.

"What are you doing back there?" Venus glared at her. "You almost got me killed,"

"Sorry. Have you contact Mars and Mercury?"

"I've already called them. They should be here any second....Ah, there they are," Venus was shouting at them to hurry up. Both of them were catching their breath.

"Ready?" Jupiter looked at her friends. "Ready," they answer at the same time. "Let's go," Jupiter shouted.

The four guardians quickly hide waiting for the monsters to finish whatever they did. Mars was clutching the stone tightly until it was hurt when she saw one of the monster was destroying the building. She hated to watch. All she wanted was to kill those bastards quickly. When the monsters finally finished destroying the buildings, Venus gave a signal to them to start chasing.

Mercury remembered Queen Serenity's order to keep a distance so the monsters didn't notice that they were been followed. The four guardians were absolutely dumbfounded to see a big black portal where the monsters had went in there.

"Should we go in there?" Mercury asked Venus.

"I think we should. After all, we need to know where exactly their base is," Venus said after thinking a while.

"Then, let's go," Jupiter said impatiently. She was dying to fight. The four senshi stepped inside the portal carefully, not wanting to be ambush. When they began to gain their vision, they realized two things. One, they were in Earth. Mars recgonized the building very well. It was a legendary ruins where Jadeite had brought her. Two, following the monsters was a big mistake. Around them were monsters surrounding them, waiting to killed them.

"Damn it, it was a trap. I should never order you guys to walk into that portal," Venus cursed.

"There's no time to curse Venus. We all want to get into that portal," Mars calmed her down. "Yeah. We should think on how to stay alive right now," Mercury added.

"STAY ALIVE?!!" suddenly a voice thundered. The four guardians looked at the direction where the voice came from and saw a figure of man walked out from the dark. Jupiter gasped in dismay and shock when she saw Lord Ian walked in.

"Lord Ian," she whispered. Ian smiled evilly as his blue eyes shinning. "Yes, my Jupiter. I know all your plan to save your pretty kingdom. Unfortunately, the other four general aren't here to join our little game,"

"The unfortunate is for you, traitor," Jupiter's eyes were glittering angrily. She never thought that Ian would cross the line and betrayed his own kingdom. She looked at his dark and cruel eyes. She didn't believe that soft and caring blue eyes would change into those eyes he had now.

"Ah....Jupiter. The unfortunate is for you to be exact," Ian looked at the guardians and a plan strucked him. Smiling even wider he spoke, "I have a better game. Care to join?" Before any of them fling out a retort, the monsters around them began to move toward them. They began to move backward.

"Any ideas?" Venus asked Mercury. "I..." Mercury looked flustered. "I don't know. My computer won't work here and I don't anything about this place!" Venus frowned when she looked the monster is getting nearer and nearer.

"Venus Crescent Beam!" She shouted but nothing came out. Ian laughed when he saw this. "What's the matter, Venus? Your power doesn't work?" Jupiter saw her friends move backward as if they had gave up and this made her angry. She quickly shook Mars and shouted," What the hell is the matter with you guys!? Why you all gave up now?!"

"Don't you get it Jupiter? You will never win. Go on and struggle as much as you want," Ian was laughing even harder. Jupiter looked at him. Her eyes were shining in anger, hatred and disappointed. Turning back to Mars she shouted even louder. "MARS!!" Jupiter was screaming at the top of her lungs. Mars just looked at her blankly. She had felt something bad would happen in this battle and it is true. Mars wasn't afraid of dying. What did she feel was disappointed of fighting this losing battle and what worst she had failed to protect her queen and princess.

"I can't...." Mars said softly. Jupiter looked at her in disbelieved as the monsters pulled them apart and tied the four guardians at the wall. Jupiter had never felt this hopeless in her entire life.

"I'll be back to continue our little game," Ian was laughing as he left them. There was a completely, long and uncomfortable silent.

"Jupiter?" Mars whispered, breaking the silence.

"What?" Jupiter replied quietly.

"I'm sorry for what....."

"I understand," Jupiter cut in. "Sometime things aren't the way we want it to be. I just don't want to believe that we have lost and trapped. That's why....." Jupiter left her words hanging.

"Guys," Venus whispered.

"What?" Mercury looked at Venus.

"Someone's coming. Can you hear the footsteps?" They all listened at the footstep.

"Yeah, but it sound like many people are coming this way," Mercury told them. Before any of them could speak up, Lady Beryl came in with a bunch of monsters. They all stared at her in worried of what she might do and curious to know who she is.

"Well, well. Look who're here. A bunch of Silver Millenium people which is now tied up looking very hopeless and weak," Slowly she walked towards Venus, then to Mercury, walking passed Mars and stopped at Jupiter.

Examined Jupiter, she spoke up. "You are no beauty at all. You are just a moron," Wonder how Ian could fall in love with someone like her. Beryl turned her body towards the monster. "Deal with her but don't let her die,"

Jupiter looked at the monsters, which were coming towards her, in horror. She tried to loose the knot but failed. When monsters started to gave their first punch, Jupiter did nothing but closed her eyes, hoping this would end soon. Blood tickled down from her forehead and her mouth but Jupiter still refused to let her voice out even a single word.

"Leave her alone!" Mercury screamed.

"You are a coward, flogging a tied up person!!" Venus struggled to escape so she could help Jupiter.

"Yes!! You are nothing but crazy bitch!!" Mars shouted. Beryl frowned. She wished she could shut that noisy mouths of them up. She then, order her monster to beat the other three guardians.

"That, will teach you a lesson," Beryl turned around, leaving the monsters beating the guardians.

"This is the stupidest work I've ever done," Kunzite mumbled after his 32 corpses. "Chill out, Kunzite," Zoisite glared at him. "You told to chill out? I'm so tired of checking those corpses," Kunzite glared back. "What do you want me to do? Check the corpses for you? In your dream," Zoisite folded his arms. Before Kunzite could reply, Endymion ran toward them. "Quick come over there," "What? There is a survivor?" Kunzite said hopefully. "No, something better," The three of them ran as fast as they could.

From far, they could see something like a mirror were opening. They began to run even faster so they could be beside King Endymion to protect him.

"What's going on here?"Kunzite asked Jadeite, breathlessly. "I don't know," he replied as he stared at the mirror. "That thing were just opening," "

"I've a bad feeling about this," Kunzite said. An image began to appear on the mirror. It was blurred at first then the image began to get clearer as the six men watched the mirror curiously.

An image of the guardians were beaten played onthe mirror. Seeing Jupiter, who was hurting the worst, made Nephrite clenching his hands so tight that blood flowed from his hands. He wanted to go badly so he could make sure that she was okay.

Kunzite gritted his teeth when he saw wounded was everywhere on Venus. He closed his eyes in regret. He should had never let Venus chasing that monsters.

"What the hell is we waiting for?!! They are injured!!" Jadeite shouted when he saw everyone was dumbfounnded. His heart ached when he watched Mars hurt. He wished he could the pain away now.

"It is because, we don't know where are they!" Zoisite said sharply. It hurts him too much to see Mercury was in pain. If only he was there to protect her. But there must someone who was can still be calm rasional.

Suddenly, the black portal opened and Beryl came out. The guardians quickly stood in front of their king and prince to protect them. They were totally in shock to see Beryl.

"What are you doing here?!" Endymion shouted at her. Beryl just glared at him. Pointing at the mirror, she said in threatening voice. "If you don't want your lovers to be hurt more than they did now, you'd better follow my instruction," As Beryl kept on giving instruction, Kunzite whispered to Nephrite. "If we follow that crazy traitor, the chance of saving them is impossible. I think if we push her back to the portal, we can use her to bring us to them,"

Nephrite bit his lower lip, as he thought. "You mean, we dragged her back to the portal?"

"Exactly,"

"That's a great idea. Wait till I whispered the plan to Jadeite and Zoisite. Kunzite, should we bring King and prince Endymion with us?"

Kunzite looked at him. The way his eyes shining told him that he was thinking. "No, it is too dangerous. We better no tell them about our plan,"

"OK," Nephrite began to whisper the plan to his friends carefully. After agreeing change the plan a little bit, KUnzite told Nephrite so he could whisper to the other guardians. "When I said go, You and I are going to push Beryl while Jadeite and Zoisite followed us to made sure that king and prince Endymion didn't follow us, ok?"

Nephrite nodded his head. As Beryl kept on talking, Kunzite waited for her to stop and took a breath. When she stopped, Kunzite shouted.

"GO!!"
