| POW WOW |
| As I sit and watch the Eagle fly 'round the ring, I also listen to the drummers sing. I sit and watch the colors of the rainbow, I also watch the fancy dancers get low. As I watch the sneak-up of the traditional men, I watch the man wearing a bear from the den. I watch the butterfly dancers as the slide, and the many grass dancers as they glide. I stand to honor the veterans of war, and honor the traditional womens beauty galore. I hear the music of the jingle dress, And offer prayers for mankinds oneness. At night I listen to the campfire sounds, And know I'm safe on Pow Wow grounds. |
