Hi, I'm Julian Peachey. I'm currently a teacher and IT Trainer for the British Council in Tokyo, Japan. I've just moved to Japan from South Korea where I worked for the British Council and Sogang University. I've also worked in Europe, Latin America, the USA and Hong Kong. In total I've worked for six British Council schools around the world.

I enjoy my job as I like meeting people and I love languages (when they are not too difficult). I speak French and Spanish (I studied both languages at university) as well as Italian and a tiny bit of Cantonese. Now I'm learning Korean too. I recently studied for an M.Ed. in Educational Technology at the University of Manchester which was hard work but interesting, and now I use the Internet a lot in my teaching.

What else? Well, in my free time I like mountain walking, playing badminton, watching movies and listening and dancing to Latin American music, especially Salsa. I also like surfing the Internet. My favourite movie: Taxi Driver. You looking at me?
