September & October News!
A VERY HAPPY 29TH B-DAY TO CHRIS! WHO TURNED 2-9 ON TUESDAY OCTOBER 17TH!!! I WONDER HOW HE CELEBRATED!?!??!

TRL will NOT be primiering This I Promise You tomorrow due to the fact it still has some touching up to do, Carson said so on TRL.

'N Sync announced that their third album will be finished in February 2001 and will be released shortly after. The guys are thinking late March, early April. Lance said they are even more involved. JC and Justin have both been doing a lot of writing. Justin says they will all
pick out 10 to 12 recorded songs and then will throw them in a hat and pick out of that. No song titles released

I know there was lots of controversy about whether or
not the *NSYNC lip balm would actually come out, but someone was at Tower Records, and by the checkout stand they has it! It is this little tube of chapstick- each with a pic of a guy and a flavor... Joey- Green Apple, Justin- Vanilla, Lance- Blue Raspberry, JC- Watermellon, and Chris- Strawberry. They were 99 cents a peice, and actually work very well!" According to other fans, you can also pick up this lip balm at Limited Two, Claires, and Spencers stores. In previous reports, JC noted in an MTV interview "that the band had also pulled the plug on plans for a line of 'NSYNC-endorsed lip balms, saying that "it wasn't us who okayed it."

The pressure is on the Backstreet Boys to follow the success of last album 'Millennium' - and to re-establish their sales record which was broken earlier this year by *N Sync. Last week *N Sync's Chris Kirkpatrick said he was sick of the rivalry, adding: "I feel a little sorry for them because they feel they've got something to prove. They're very successful at what they do, and they're talented."

Faith Hill, 'NSync, and Creed are lined up thus far to perform at the 2000 Billboard Music Awards, set for Dec. 5 in Las Vegas. Britney Spears, Destiny's Child, Baha Men, and Joe have singed on as presenters for the annual awards soire. The 11th annual Billboard Music Awards will be broadcast live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena at 8 p.m. EST/PST on Dec. 5. The nominees for the event will be announced shortly.

*NSYNC star Justin Timberlake is hoping his musical charity The Justin
Timberlake Foundation will help prevent another Columbine disaster -- by giving kids who don't fit in something to do.On April 20, 1999, two students armed with semi-automatic handguns, shotguns, and explosives conducted an assault on the Columbine High School and the people inside. 12 students, one teacher, and two suspects were killed; 24 students were transported to six local hospitals; and 160 students were
treated at the scene.Justin hopes his donations and charity work will not only open the door for other kids to get into the music business -- but also keep children from getting into trouble. He says, "I think it's dumb that people were saying about Columbine, 'Those kids did that because they were listening to Marilyn Manson music blah blah blah.'
"That's shallow. But we do know that the kids who did it weren't the most popular kids. Every time you give kids an opportunity to let out their energy in a positive way, you're going to have a better outcome."

on TRL, Brian McFadden was talking about *Nsync on the Simpson's. From what I remember, he said Bart was making a "boy-band" and *Nsync's supposed to help him. The episode is called 'New Kids On The Blahhh' and it's supposed to come out sometime in February of next year.

The 'N Sync-versus-Backstreet Boys rivalry may be going strong, but that's only in the minds of the fans, according to 'N Sync. The group harbors no ill will toward its labelmates and says that the two acts are pitted against each other by outside forces, as 'N Sync member JC Chasez tells LAUNCH. "I think everybody puts us in direct competition with them," he says. "We really don't care either way. We just do our thing day to day and we're thankful that we've achieved what we have. We don't want to take anything away from them--I mean, hey, they're just trying to do their thing, so we have nothing against them. We know what it's like to try and make a living at this." While 'N Sync denies any negative relationship with the Backstreet Boys, there is a healthy sense of competition that produces positive results, as Chasez explains. "I guess people set it up that way, and in a way it's a good
thing, 'cause it really kind of helps drive everybody and it motivates
everybody to do positive."'N Sync is gearing up for the second leg of its No Strings Attached tour, which will kick off in Charlotte, North Carolina, on October 17. The tour will wrap up on December 1 in San Diego, California, after which the group will head into the studio to record its next album. 'N Sync is hoping to have the new project completed by February.

*NSYNC Thinks "Making The Band" is Crap! When asked what they think about "Making the Band," the ABC television series about the boy band O-Town, Justin replied: "What do we think about it? It's a piece of crap," Timberlake said. "It's scary to think that that O-Town show, that they're serious. I'm not dissing the boys on the show. God bless them. I'm almost positive that they don't have a clue what's going on, really. I kind of look back and see what we were like: We didn't know what was going on. I don't want to talk bad about anybody but I can't have faith in something that's done by a business partner that we've already had and who was not a very good business partner."

Plans After The 2nd Leg of Tour When the tour wraps up in December, 'NSync is going to take a break, during  which the quintet will embark on "solo ventures," although not necessarily musical. "I think when we say 'solo ventures,' they're all different types of things, like
business ventures, Timberlake said. "Joey's filming something right now--I'm sorry, I don't know what it's called." Lance Bass is also getting involved in film, while Kirkpatrick will bring his Fu.ManSkeeto clothing line into Nordstrom stores the day after Thanksgiving. Timberlake said he wasn't sure what he was going to do. "I'll probably just be writing some music, and I don't know, maybe I'll get into some on-screen stuff. Who knows? I'm crazy like that. I'll switch it on you."

NSYNC's Next Album At this point, the band is still mulling over potential producers to work with and claim that it's likely that Chasez and Timberlake will take a greater hand in shaping the record's direction. "We're definitely getting into that side of it more," Bass said. "There's been several people we've been talking about. Maybe getting with She'kspere again, Timbaland, Missy [Elliott]. Even Richard
Marx would be great to work with again." 'NSync is planning to return to the studio in early 2001 to record the follow-up to its nine-times-platinum album "No Strings Attached." "We haven't had a lot of time but we're doing a little bit of writing," Timberlake said. "... I think one of our main goals is that we all get at least 10 tracks submitted and just pick the best 12 or so from that big pile. We'll have the best
pool of where the sound's going or where we feel the sound's going. Once we've all submitted our tracks, maybe everybody else will come in and help produce them up and get the whole 'NSync sound on them

'N Sync proves "It's Gonna Be" them at "The Radio Music Awards," which will air Nov 4 on ABC. The pop group tied with four nominations apiece with Creed. *NSYNC went unrecognized by tourists
No, that didn't just look like the members of 'N Sync outside of Sinbad's Pier II Restaurant near San Francisco's Embarcadero last Friday, that was Lance,Chris, Joey, J.C. and Justin lip-synching their new song, "I Promise You,"for their new Dave Meyers-directed video.
Nevertheless, nosey dinners andpassers-bys were told that it was a rock band named the Melons. The boy band was in the Bay Area for two days to film the video, according to a spokesperson -- the first day in a
redwood grove, the second smack dab in the middle of a tourist trap, where not a single person recognized them. Maybe that's a bad thing . .

NSYNC Speaks Out About Lou Pearlman After making playful jabs at his fellow members during a 45-minute teleconference with a handful of reporters on Monday (10/9), 'NSync founding member Chris Kirkpatrick turned somber when he said that working with former manager Lou Pearlman was "a life lesson we learned quick." "The only thing that kind of shreds us about it is when we hear things like, 'Yeah, he used to tell you guys how to sing.' He gave us money and that was it. We kind of did our own thing," said Kirkpatrick, whowas joined on the call by bandmate Justin Timberlake. "When he did control the money, he would say things. And we were like, 'This is our group. This is what we do. You're paying us to be 'NSync. You're not paying us to be your people and your puppets. We are a group. We were a group before your money and we'll be a group after your money.'" 'NSync left RCA Records and Pearlman for Jive Records last year, prompting a $150 million lawsuit by Pearlman, his management team Trans Continental Media, Trans Continental Records and BMG Entertainment, which owns RCA. A judge in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida ruled in November against Pearlman and allowed the band to record for Jive. Shortly after the judge's ruling, the group reached a confidential out-of-court settlement with Pearlman and BMG. "It's really sad that it went down like that," Kirkpatrick said. "Because at first he tried to
make it like a family: 'I want to be close to you guys. I want you guys to be able to trust me.' But in a business when it comes to money, you can't trust anybody, because the people you start trusting, you never guess that they're the ones that are actually taking all your money. That was really hard for us."

*NSYNC to do "Grease 3?" "Most likely, it's Grease 3," Lance Bass said in a 45 minute teleconference Mon.Oct 9th, that also included his fellow 'N Sync mates J.C. Chasez and Joey Fatone. "Everything just got put on hold because of the [Screen Actors Guild]strike, which was just very bad timing for us. We're going ahead and getting thescript written. It's a go from the studios, and we just got to wait until the strike is over, and then we can start filming." The group didn't detail which of the band's members would serve as the movie's male lead or who would be tapped to play opposite him. "I guess it'll be an ensemble," Fatone said. "It'll definitely be more written for a group," Bass added. "We've got a great cast inmind right now.

*No Christmas Songs on 2nd Leg of Tour "We're actually going to keep it the same as of right now, due to the fact that there are actually certain cities, a bunch of places that we have not hit yet," Chasez said. "So people that never got the chance to see it yet are actually
going to get a chance to seeit. If anything, maybe towards the end of [the tour] we might throw a Christmassong in, but we're not even sure if we're going to do that. For the most part, yeah, it's just the 'No Strings Attached' tour."

Meredith's album will include duet with *NSYNC
This is from an interview with Lance at the CMAs: Is there another 'N Sync country song coming? You know some country purists had chest pains when it was announced that Lance Bass of 'N Sync would be a presenter
last night on the CMAs. Well they better get ready for full-blown heart
attacks. Lance was invited last night, in part, because he now manages a teen country act, Meredith Edwards. Lance told me on the red carpet that Meredith's first album likely will include a duet -- with 'N Sync. You might remember the howls when 'N Sync sang on an Alabama remake of 'N Sync hit God Must've Spent a Little More Time on You. Well, settle down, howlers! Lance is tryin' to help a sister out. By the way, props to Meredith: The print media backstage asked her to belt out a few bars, and she did so, in tune and with lots of power.

'N Sync is planning to unite the worlds of pop and country music once again, according to group member Lance Bass. The singer recently shared with Jive Records executive Clive Calder his idea of teaming up with a country artist. "We just released a ballad, 'This I Promise You,' to
every market except country," Bass says. "I mean, we did Spanish, everything. I was talking to Clive Calder the other day and I was like, 'Why don't we do a country version, 'cause it's such a country song,' so we are going to get together with a well-known artist and probably collaborate this year." Lance added that the singer will be female. There is no word on when fans can expect to hear the musical
collaboration on the radio. "This I Promise You" was written, arranged,
and produced by Richard Marx, who also wrote the title track on Shedaisy's new Christmas album, Brand New Year. 'N Sync's first country collaboration was with Alabama on "God Must Have Spent A Little More
Time On You," which was a top five hit on the country charts in August 1999.

I watched the Comet awards show, too. I got *N Sync's thank yous on tape 3 times. In the beginning JC was talking about their video
and Justin held the award ball and said, "it's mine, it's mine". Then Joey tried to take it from Justin but failed. It was so cute! It was SO
amazing when they sang the a cappella of TIPY. And, in the end when JC
said "Viva 4eva", then Justin said, "we're gonna take this award and
make partyy!" with a british accent!"

Not So Boy Band will open up for *NSYNC in O-Town Joey Fatone's Dad's group "Not So Boy Band" will open up for *NSYNC on November 1st
in Orlando. Dream will be opening up for all the dates, and B4-4 will open for *NSYNC in Toronto only. (I luv B44 If youve got napster check em out!)

Christina Aguilera's mom, has a board where she answers fans questions and comments posts her own comments. Here's what she had to say aboutboth the Latin Grammys and Justin Timberlake: "Hello! I just wanted to let everyone know I'm back again. I've been away for awhile in Los Angeles where Rachel and I attended the LatinGrammys with Christina. It was wonderful! I spoke with Carlos Santana (warmest, sweetest man on
earth, by the way) and got to meet several other people. And I'm so happy! I got to see Justin (Timberlake) again--the first time since MMC cancelled! He didn't know I'd be there, and when he first noticed me, he said "Oh my God!" and hugged me. We talked for awhile. It was so good to see him again. Honestly.....I still feel like all the MMC kids are like my own kids. I felt like I got to spend time with one of my own after so a long time. He's such a sweetheart."

Dream will be opening up for *NSYNC on the upcoming No Strings Attached Tour. (You can pick up a copy of their single if u want to see what they sound like.)

JC said in an interview at Musique Plus that the video release of their latest single "This I Promise You" has been pushed back because the guys have to reshoot some scenes in LA.

Justin in ComsoGirl will be in stores on Oct. 2nd, with awesome Yummy pics!

In November's J-14 Bobbee'z Buzz features Lance & Justin in a interview on how they feel about relationships.

The video release of "This I Promise You" has been postponed because the guys have to re-shoot some scenes in Los Angeles. They were experiencing some problems with the lighting.

The cd single for "This I Promise You" is available as an import for around $20 at Circuit City, HMV, Sam Goody. There are three tracks on it: "This I Promise You"- radio edit, spanish version, instrumental.

Also...more "This I Promise You" news! Thedirector of the video is Dave (David Meyers) who also produced Britney Spears' "Lucky" video and the whole "scheme" of the video is a guy and a girl (Kim Smith is not in the video) and they go out to eat at the diner alot of people heard about that part of the video and they are walking through the forest, you probably heard about that too and at some point in the video the guy goes to a tattoo parlor and gets a tattoo of the girl (not your typical*NSYNC video, huh? lol) and *NSYNC is kinda like in the background in the video just singing, so it's not just speculated around them, in post-editing bubbles & all sorts of cool imaging will be added to give the video an awesome vibrant feel! ;D Anyways, we shall see what ends up in the actual video and what ends up being cut, just letting you know whats being taped...

On Friday J.C came to Montreal to do some promotion. He was the onlythere cause Joey had to stay in Toronto to shoot some scene for a movie
for the Tom Hanks production. Overall, J.C did 2 T.V shows and 2 RadioShows. First stop was MusiquePlus(music video channel) where there
were zillions of people waiting for him in the studio plus there was soo many fans outside all banging on the window. J.C did a 30 minute interview where he announced that Nsync recorded their voices for an upcoming episode of the Simpsons where they will be guest staring in the new season.
Second stop was for a radio station where they asked him to sing a little a bit of TIPY, he sang the chorus beautifully! Third stop was a T.V. show called Jet Set where they asked him general questions again. It was pretty funny to see J.C look a the host translating all that stuff in French. I think at a certain point the host turned to J.C and he said to him 'so will you stick around with us after the commercial' in French and J.C had the cutest look lol!! He didn't understand, that's when the host quickly repeated the questionin English! I guess the host forgot for a split second that he was supposed to speak in English! Then the last stop was another radio show where they asked him how it was singing in Spanish at the Latin Grammys. He said they loved the experience and it's definitely not the last time they will sing in Spanish. They had help by a vocal spanish teacher which was provided by Gloria Estefan to help them prepare for the Latin Grammys! From there J.C said that he had to fly back to L.A to reshoot some of the scene of TIPY video and from there this completed his promo day in Montreal.

One more thing! On the MusiquePlus interview they had this little quiz where they ask him very interesting questions one of them was if he was getting in a bubble bath with which female would he want to get in the bubble bath with? and of course this was a multiple answer question. So he had a choice between Cindy Crawford, Naomie Campell, This russian model and Heather Graham and of course as we know J.C, there was no way he would pick just one of em lol!! He answered 'anyone of them can wash my back anytime' lol!"

*NSYNC will be featured in an upcoming episode of the simpsons, in which they will play themselves. They are going to do the voices and help bart, who wants to be in a boyband. No air-date has been set yet.

*NSYNC to be included on "Platinum Christmas" BMG is planning a "Platinum Christmas" compilation, due Nov. 14 on Jive. The 18-track set will include material by *NSYNC, Britney Spears, Joe, R. Kelly, Jars Of Clay, Whitney Houston, Santana, and Kenny G.

Some of the footage for "This I Promise You" was taped in San Fransico on Sept  29, 30 Parts of the video were shot on a floating platform on
the San-Fran bay at night!!

Not satisfying your *Nsync craving with "No Strings Attached," concert tours, and TV appearances? Worry not, *Nsync lovers. On Nov.
7, you'll be able to get your hands on a brand new track from the Orlando boy band. On that day, Universal Music will release the soundtrack for
"How The Grinch Stole Christmas". The album will feature new music by the Barenaked Ladies ("Green Christmas"), Faith Hill ("Where Are You
Christmas"), and a duet by Jim Carrey and Busta Rhymes on the classic "You're A Mean One, Mr. Grinch". On top of all those is a brand new *Nsync track titled "You Don't Have To Be Alone". So if you're dying for more of Justin, Joey, J.C., Chris and Lance, just keep chanting "November seventh" to yourself. The movie, starring Jim Carrey as the Grinch himself, opens on Nov. 17.

You know he's a total babe (wait until you see our super-sexy pics!);his voice is so amazing it can make you feel a little woozy sometimes; and even though he performs in giant stadiums, he has such stagepresence that you feel like the two of you are alone in the room. But
don't you want to get to know the REAL guy behind the glitz? Check out this exclusive outtake from the CosmoGIRL! interview -- We got him to spill a few secrets about his relationship with Britney Spears!
Okay, I know you don't want to talk about the state of your current
relationship with Britney Spears, but you two have been friends forever. I met Britney when I was 12 and we became really good friends. We had a lot of things in common because we were both raised in the same kind of southern family that taught us to have manners, honesty, loyalty and honor. Those were the rules -- you never turn your back on a family member. We had a lot of the same culture and upbringing.
  Where did you first meet?
It was at a casting camp for the Mickey Mouse Club. Jessica Simpson was
there, too. Britney was really tiny -- we were all little kids. The
thing that I always remember about her is that she just had that glow about her. When I saw her dance, I knew she was going to be something
more than just a cast member on a TV show.

Under a new promotion, a spoonful of General Mills cereal could land you a compilation CD with music from 'N Sync, Sting, Boyz II Men, Britney Spears, Martina McBride, Brian McKnight, and Herbie Hancock, and more. The campaign will find 80 million boxes of General Mills

August's News!
Tyra Banks on meeting Justin~
In the June issue of FACE magazine, with Gisele on the cover. Tyra was asked is she ever met anyone that had a crush on her and she said "Yeah, I remember Back in December I was at a club hanging out with Leo and he introduced me to Justin Timberlake. I did not know he had a crush on me until later, but I think Leo knew."

The Bloodhound Gang "We've talked to 'N Sync about doing a song together for fun," he said. "We met them [when] we played a show in Orlando -- their hometown -- and Joey and Lance came out to the show to see us. They were so into the show and so friendly and we're like, 'You guys are huge right now and you wanna hang out with us?' So we went out drinking and had an after party and they're like 'You guys gotta come see us' and were like 'Fair enough.' So we flew out to see them."

'N Sync's 'This I Promise You' video was shot in Hollywood. It involved a forest and also includes a diner scene. There are some animals in the video, along with another girl. And the guys wrapped it all up around 4:30pm last Wednesday.

"Lance was on 'Emeril Live'  on the Food Network. He was testing all of the food Emeril made and chatting with him." That Emiril is a crazy guy. He always does that 'bam' thing which gets annoying after about five seconds."

The first-ever Latin Grammy Awards show is shaping up to be a cornucopia of multiculturalism. Billboard has learned that among the highlights in the works for the Sept. 13 event is a vocal pairing of current Latin Tracks chart-toppers Son By Four and pop superstars 'N Sync.

*Nsync already broke album sales records and now the pop group has broken Internet records. The MediaX Corporation, which designs and maintains *Nsync's official website, announced that the site is the most popular of all music artist sites on the web.
*Nsync's site won over other popular sites such as backstreetboys.com, korn.com and eminem.com. MediaX claims that *Nsync's official website enjoyed approximately 800,000 unique visitors in July of this year, while backstreetboys.com earned about 500,000.
"This is a very exciting time for us. It is wonderful when our intention to create the best music site on the Internet for *NSYNC is recognized by the Internet audience and officially validated by reliable numbers through a credible outside source," said Nancy Poertner, President of MediaX.

When asked if he knew the difference between the Backstreet Boys and 'N Sync and if he would work boy bands into his humor, Marlon Wayans responded in this week's brand new issue of TV Guide.. "I know 'N Sync because I met them. And they're all cool guys. But before that I just [saw] five white guys dancing offbeat.. We don't want to offend anybody. 'Cuz we want to go to the
party. We don't want to hear on the news, 'Marlon Wayans get his butt kicked by 'N Sync.' "

If it ain't broke, don't fix it; just tinker with it a little. That's the approach 'N Sync is taking as the group prepares for the fall leg
of its U.S. tour. As we previously reported, the group will return to the road on October 17 in Charlotte, North Carolina, and will then roll on through early December. The trek follows 'N Sync's summer tour, and this time out the boy band heavy hitters are packing a few extras into their set. "It will be a little different," 'N Sync's Lance Bass recently told MTV Radio. "We're going to bring out some Christmas songs to get you in the Christmas mood, and we will have different opening acts too."

Over at LifeBeat.org there are some exclusive videos of 'N Sync. One is them performing at the World AIDS Day last year and the other is a commercial that is running on MTV and VH1 that has them talking about protecting yourself from AIDS/HIV. They have other artists there too. It's good that so many artists are joining in to protect young people from HIV and AIDS

Don't forget to vote for *Nsync at mtv.com for viewer's choice.  I really want them to win, so let's get them there and show them how the viewer's really feel.  Here's the link.  Just copy and paste. http://www.mtv.com/sendme

Though No Strings Attached was released five months ago, 'N Sync show no signs of slowing down. The hardest working boys in the business added another twenty-two dates to their U.S. tour extending it into early December before planning a European jaunt. Meanwhile, the album is still going strong at the nine-million mark and not one, but three versions of their third single "This
I Promise You" is set to hit radio Sept. 18, including an English, Spanish ("Yo Te Voy A Amar") and a "Spanglish" version. Eighties adult contemporary hit maker Richard Marx, who penned the song, will work with 'N Sync's resident writer JC Chasez on the next album. But before any of Chasez's tunes make it onto the next album he will have to face his most important critics first, his bandmates. "That's kind of up to the guys -- if my stuff sounds good . . . Right now I'm kind of on a hot streak"

JC Chasez of NSYNC visited Richard at his house last week to write some songs for the next NSYNC CD.Also from Richardmarx.com~
~Also go check out his website, there are pics of the guys there which I'll get some of those pics up on this site soon!

AARON CARTER ON NSYNC:In a recent interview Nick Carter said:"I'm not even a fan of Backstreet Boys...i'm sorry.
I'm sorry Nick, Brian and the other guys. Actually you know what. If I said this it would be really upsetting but I'm a fan of 'Nsync. I like 'Nsync. You know.. I just like their music a lot more..It's justfunner to listen to. The only Backstreet music Ilike.. Their music now has achieved more older audience so it's like the younger kids are just like wow.. and it's like 'Mom you can listen to this, I'm going to go listen to 'Nsync' "

In a recent interview, Art Garfunkel, one of the greatest voices of his generation, said, "When you're talking about 'N Sync, I think you're talking about singers who are quite good. I think 'N Sync will have a future that goes beyond kids music."You can also listen to it here on real player:http://live1.sonera.se/meta/ondemand/iec/ny1508aaronab.ram

There's a new commercial out about a Nabisco contest. Its grand prize is an 'N Sync concert at your school. Anywho, the commercial for it shows a guy at the grocery store re-stocking aisle 5. Then over the loudspeaker, a lady announces the contest and everything. It then goes on to show tons of screaming girls running wildly through the supermarket, and taking every last bag ofOreos (above the Oreos is a picture of 'N Sync). The stockboy then is told to once again re-stock aisle 5." Buy the cookies and you can win.

According to The Drew Show on WTKS 104.1 in Orlando, 'N Sync received $500,000 for a recent appearance at Disney. Not only that, each of the five group members received both a Prowler and a Viper. Oh yes. Drew then responded, 'I would have been happy with just the Viper.' Well if that isn't nice, I do not know what is. Craziness.

A girl wrote me in to say she was listening to Z100  in New Jersey and they said that when they talked with JC from 'N Sync and asked him if there were going to be any differences on the fall tour, he said that they are going to add some holiday songs. Probably from their Christmas CD." Sweet

A NEW lawsuit is being filed to out cuties- *Nsync and Joliet's Route 66 Raceway and concert promoters MCY Music World Inc. and SFX Marketing Inc.. Filed by a Northbrook mother and her daughter. The lawsuit is filled over the fact that they bought tickets to that concert but due to traffic and such they got to the venue where to concert was being held around 10:15pm the concert then ended fifteen minutes after the pair arrived. Many other die-hard *Nscyn-ers and/or the parents had bought tickets and some never made it to the concert at all. They and all the other people out there that never made it to the concert they had bought tickets for- are hoping for a refund or even better another concert for them- this time they could actually see it before it ended!!! On TRL today, Carson said that he went to one of the 'N Sync shows and that his favorite part was Justin's beat box solo. And in the news part of TRL, they showed a clip of Christina talking about her tour. She said that there is some blues, rock, and of course the songs from her CD, with edge. She said she wanted a new look so she colored her hair blue and red, of course still with the blonde. Then Brian said 'nice hair.' He said happy birthday to JC and then talked about how Joey is doing a collaboration with Blaque like JC did. The song is called 'As If' and will be on Blaque's upcoming movie's soundtrack. They recorded a version of the song without Fatone for the movie, but he will be on their next album due out at the end of November.

Lance is going to be on TRL next Tuesday, 8-17 to talk about The FreeLance Finals, where he will be looking for the 1st group he signs to his entertainment company. (TRL site:

'N Sync are certainly making the most of their international megastardom - now they've made their presence felt in Switzerland, of all places. The lads were in Chicago recording a new promotional video (let's hope it turns out better than I'll Never Stop) and caused a bit of a rumpus when they turned up at the Swissotel for a bit of to-camera performance malarkey and managed to totally disrupt a superposh VIP dinner! In fact they kept more than 300 guests of the Swiss Counsel
General waiting.

For 'N Sync news, last week the group wrapped up recording a Spanish version of the Richard Marx-penned song, "This I Promise You," from their multiplatinum album No Strings Attached. The group member Bass was asked what it was like recording in Spanish, and he said: "It was really, really cool. You'll have to just wait and see how it turned out."

Tonight in NYC: Katie Ford launches her Ford Music Company -- a marketing, advertising and consulting division of the famous Ford Modeling Agency. Already on board and ready for repping are Justin Timberlake of 'N Sync, Mandy Moore, Wyclef Jean and Christina Aguilera.

Yesterday night, Lance Bass, Joey Fatone and Justin Timberlake were spotted at the 'Coyote Ugly' premiere in New York. The time off their busy tour allowed them to fit the shoes of movie stars by walking down the red carpet on their way to see the movie. I wonder what they thought of the movie? And it is evident that 'N Sync has been spending
way too much time in New York!
July 2000 *Nsync News!
Tying with six nominations each, hip-hop phenomenon EMINEM and professional "pop-sters" 'N SYNC are set to duel it out at the 2000 MTV Music Video Awards. Eminem's "The Real Slim Shady" and 'N Sync's "Bye Bye Bye" will face off in two top categories: video of the year and the Viewer's Choice Award. Singing diva CHRISTINA AGUILERA leads female nominees with five mentions.

The top contenders reflect the diversity of today's musical spectrum with Aguilera, alternative rock mainstays RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS, hard-rock veterans METALLICA and hip-hop artist SISQO each grabbing five nominations. BRITNEY SPEARS, R&B artist MACY GRAY and R&B/soul singer D'ANGELO each received four mentions.

Competing with Eminem and 'N Sync for video of the year are pop/punk group BLINK 182's "All the Small Things," D'Angelo's "Untitled (How Does It Feel)" and Red Hot Chili Peppers' "Californication." The other nominees for the Viewer's Choice Award are Aguilera's "What a Girl Wants," Spears' "Oops! ... I Did It Again" and Sisqo's "Thong Song."
