| Joey, what was that about?! Justin asked as he stood up to face the older man, anger of his own clearly burning behind his blue eyes. How could you accuse Cassie of that?! Dont tell me your buying the lie she just fed us. Joey seemed astonished. Justin stood his ground and Joeys eyes widened. Oh my god, you are. Why should I not belive her? Hasnt she saved my neck twice already? Now why Joey, WHY would she have done that if she had anything to do with any of this? Justin was furious, almost screaming. Lance, Chris and Jc sat and watched, not quite sure what to do. She would never do that. NEVER. How can you be buying that. I thought that you had more brains then this. Joey growled. The two men were now standing face to face, sparks shooting out from their eyes. Noticing the potential for a full fledged fight to begin, Lance jumped from the couch. Cautiously he approached the two friends and just as cautiously he placed one hand on each of their shoulders. Calm yourselves down. He commanded sternly. Each man turned their heads to glare at the intruder. Lance knew that if looks could kill he wouldnt be living to take another breath. Joeys right. It IS extreemly unbelievable. Justin scowled ever harder and Joey threw him a smug look. BUT, Lance continued on, Justins right. Cassie has saved his sorry butt twice already. She could be trying to make us think its not her by- Justin spoke through clenched teeth. She. Is. Not. Doing. It. Lance is right. Jc agreed as Chris nodded his head. There is a very small possibility that she may really be, Jc hesitated before pushing the work out uncertinally, psychic. But I do think that there is an even smaller possibility of her attaking Jusitn. Cassie just isnt like that. Chris spoke for the first time. Plus her being psychic would explain how she knew about- Chris stoped and looked around at the group. Uhhh, nevermind. Everyone in the room stared at him oddly for a moment as he began to grow slightly red before turning back to the original argument. Psychics just dont exhist. Was Joeys firm statement. Justin didnt say anything this time, but he turned towards Jc and stuck out his hand. Give me your keys. What? Why? Jc asked even as he reached into his pants pocket for the keys to his Jeep. Im going after Cassie. Justin stated simply as Jc dropped the keys into his open palm. Joey scowled. Shes a liar and a fake. But Justin wasnt listening to him. Everyone in the room flinched as the door was slammed shut behind him. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ He was just about to pull his old and almost completly usless car after the girl, but then from the corner of his eye saw Timberlake storm from the house. Immediatly his attentions shifted and a nasty smile spread across his face. He continued to watch as Timberlake opened the garage door from a panel that was located on the inside of the overhang on the garage. Timberlake waited impatiently as the door slowly began to rise, and after a mer tenth of a second his impatients got the best of him. As soon as the door was high enough to the point that he could get under it without having to crawl on his stomach, Timberlake ducked and entered. Just as the garage door stopped its upward movment a red jeep flew out, Timberlake behind the wheel. He was going after the girl. The smile on his face grew. This was going to be easier then he though. Putting the car into drive, he began to follow Timberlake down the road. Tonight was the night. |
