how to move VO to new computer

Since I've been "updating" VO since version 1.0, I am
deliberating best method to move VO to new workhorse
computer. Is a CD available for registered users? Any ideas?
It seems a pain to uninstall and reinstall all those
versions .

Also there is the issue of Register-It. Is there a way when
I reinstall to select which subdirectory \ca_lic goes under?

Hi Farid,

if you're using VO 1.0, then you can copy it simply over.

For the 2.5 (or 2.0) upgrade to work there must be a
CAVO.EXE or CAVO20.EXE anywhere in the path. Then you need
to re-apply all patches.

For RegisterIt - copy first your CA_LIC directory to the new
machine - hopefully you keep your old LAN card, then you can
install and re-register CA-VO without problems.

I just uninstalled and reinstalled the last time I moved to
a new computer. In addition to the RegisterIT issue, you
also have registry settings that need to be set up on the
new computer.
